No joke I had this exact breakfast every morning except I put fresh spinach in the smoothie with no beets. Having both in the morning I find makes me feel the best
One of his points in the video is how to make a quick breakfast... he is using a microwave to help demonstrate to those who are looking to save time in the mornings
i barely have time to have breakfast. microwave can get 2 eggs done in less than 90secs. also the quick cooking time can potentially reduce the amount of nutrients destroyed during the typical prolonged heating process.
He’s trying to make this accessible for athletes/people on the go. It’s a good blend of healthy fats, lean proteins, and good complex and simple carbs. It’s all too easy for an athlete to rush to practice and not be properly fueled before or after- and then pig out afterwards on takeout they shouldn’t have done. As a wrestler and boxer cutting weight, these recipes and tips would have been super helpful. I hope they help others, so thanks!
Thank You Very much for the Breakfast For Athletes! Im a Swimmer, so surely i will be needing this for the Competition on Oct. 22/ Oct. 23. Again, thank you very much!
Thank you this helps a lot. For breakfast whenever we are in a rush we could always go to McDonald’s or somewhere to pick up breakfast. Or I would make a quick peanut butter sandwich and a banana as my breakfast or simply skip breakfast and eat after.
Altho if anyone doesnt rate it as much i wont be surprised considering that as American healthcare is privatised and expensive it's less scientific than it should be
Most mornings when I do a long intense home workout (yes, i do it in the morning so I don't miss it and so I sleep better) I have a cup of tea with Almond Milk, bottle of lucozade and that same breakfast Smoothie but with different ingredients (beets, Blueberries, dried apricots, banana, Chia Seeds, ground ginger, honey, pomegranate juice, Almond Milk, water). It works so well 💪💪💪
If you want to eat a plant based breakfast, substitute the eggs with tofu (crumbled or sliced) and use a couple of cherry tomatoes and mushrooms or slices of avocado instead of cheese.
I love this video so much,,, such a good breakfast,, fast and simple,, we can do it rapidly at home.. good Idea use mic to the eggs.. I've never known that before but it's wow and so quickly for you guys that wanna simple breakfast as fast as you can.
I make my morning shake with 1 1/2 cup of filtered water, soy or almond milk, I blanch baby spinach and power greens to then freeze into pucks to added, I soak, blend and ferment nuts , 1/4 cup of that is added, then 1/3 C. frozen wild blueberries. I soak 6 dates and add that for a sweetener. My junk food junkie husband even likes this shake! He uses liquid stevia for a sweetener. We also like to change it up by adding one stalk of celery, or 1 carrot, or some frozen cauliflower, a nob of fresh turmeric, ginger, and so on. Fermenting the nuts makes them easier for me to digest. I'm gluten, corn, dairy and refined sugar free.
@@luu-qf1xk All I've been doing is drinking more water. I wake up really early for no reason lol but I have more energy throughout the day. I couldn't get those fruits for the smoothie but I eat more breakfast like eggs and make sandwiches using whole wheat bread in stead of the tasty whites.
I like how everyone on here thinks they’re pro dieters. What works for one person may not work for another. Each individual needs to understand their body and find what works. Microwaves are a huge no though
Yo.. can someone set up a go fund me for this dude to purchase an up-to-date blender because that shit was dancing back to 1990 when he tried to blend those beets 😲
Great video, I always wanted to make my own scrambled eggs in the morning but umm... how to put this into words... umm... well I’m la..zy Definitely gonna try
Obviously this chefs traying the best for athletes, cuz athletes are athletes not chefs, so yes for athletes is like yes easy, i even have eggs sandwich in 5 minutes and for chefs or other kind of people is like wtf! Eggs on the microwave?!! Like > agree Comment> send me to hell
Worldwide I understood everything you tried to say and yes that’s the logistic on why he prepared those two meals especially for the eggs in the microwave
I would say why not, but I would do it 30 to 45 mins before your boot camp starts. Also have at least a full water bottle so it’s in your system, for hydration. It’s worth the time cause man I’ve done some intense training on an empty stomach and learned quick not to do that again lol. Hope this helps! P.S - you might have to number 1 before heading out the door, but you’ll be set to train lol
Bro I’ve been in football just eat after, if you are going to eat something go super super light. Toast and maybe a little oatmeal should get you through till after practice.
@Mark Cohen 3 hours of cardio is overkill to me at least. 1 hour of weightlifting is understandable but not on the exact date of your cardio. This is a video from Alan Thrall about over-training. It may not be exactly your problem but you get the gist of it. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-kwKcayYkyAc.html
im swarmyy you’ve stated “I’m never making that rubbish again” that means you had tried to make what he made and it turned out to be rubbish. Have you ever wondered perhaps it has to do with the person that cooked the sandwich? If you don’t get what I’m saying is you have made the sandwich a rubbish since you can’t cook
Brodie was making a bomb of a starter meal until legend Ramsay's number one sworn rival was introduced: THE MICROWAVE! The eggs from the cancer appliance came out as an omelette, when you can literally make a whole veggie omelette and then make a sandwich out of it... like how hard is it? 🤣🤣🤣
As somebody who actually trains to become an athlete, in my school the morning workout can be up towards 2,5 hours of running with increasing speed for the last hour. This is not enough calories to even nearly support an endurance athletes morning workout.
