Canada is putting us immigrants in our place which they believe are only meant to do the hard labour. Even in other countries we are replaceable. So mga kabayan, always plan, save, secure your life and family as soon as you can. When you see opportunities for pr, grab agad. Dont wait too long. Tomorrow is not guaranteed. And if wala talaga and need nyo na umuwi, dont think you're life is over and you're a failure. Anywhere you go, you can make it work. Just do what you have to do and surrender the rest to the Lord. 🙏🏻
Hello Atty Emma, Hoping kayo ng family mo in time magka PR in Canada. May God bless you all ur wishes❤. Patience and sacrifice for the family 🎉. Watching here.
Thanks for the update! I had the foresight to change programs when I applied to BVC. Originally, I wanted a business program but working in tech now made me realize how in demand it is WORLDWIDE. That is why I changed my application to an IT program and thankfully, I got accepted. Currently in the process to get my student visa but my intake would be January 2025. That being said, I do have to think of plans D, E, F, etc because of these movements and changes in the IRCC (and as it relates to International Students). Very informative video, Atty Emma!
thank you for sharing the new information regarding International Students situation. Hopefully lumabas na final decision regarding IS. good luck everyone
Kaya dapat make sure na yung kukunin na course ay yung talagang in-demand sa canada kasi for sure mas priority nila yung mga asa sectors na talagang in need.
You know what's the best move apply for PR pathway from the start. Once you get approved you wouldn't worry about your status. Heads up it takes longer and for sure difficult due to more requirements but again this is the best way for a status here in CA.
Thanks sis for the video! I just uploaded our first video as an international student from the Philippines who studied in the US and immigrated to Canada and became a Canadian Citizen. Stressful and long 8 years but definitely worth it ❤
I think kung gusto mo siguro magaral sa Canada as you mentioned, carpentry dahil in demand. Short term yung course at me malaking chance makapag stay at work diyan sa Canada.
Meron pong Canada-wide anti-immigration movement ngayon. It's a hot topic lalo na po bagsak ang ekonomiya and may upcoming election. Canadians are upset about the mass inflow of international students from India and East Asia.
Hindi kaya result yan nung mga nagra-rally who wants the immigration policies to be bent over kase RIGHT daw nila? That can be a factor, who knows. Ang demanding kase nila.
Nag rally ata sila bc of the news ng kada province.
Graduation nila June 19, pero natapos sila ng placement last 2nd-3rd wk of April. FALL 2023 intake sila.
Slamaat po God Bless you! ❤
at the end of the day yung mga students e hinde sila PR anytime puede silang mawala sa canada" ISANG PANDEMIC COVID LANG" PER BILL GATES...every thing will change in a snap
Sad news po talaga yan, still to take my 2nd year program... Hope dina affected mga andito or ongoing students kasi wala sa plano and expectations yan... Dapat alisin nila those landing PR rather than those investing to study here... Parang wala sila tiwala sa education system nila...
You said they should remove those “landing PR” rather than “those who invested to study” in Canada. Let it be known that Canada is NOT removing the study permit visas. They are just making it less possible for these non immigrant students to become permanent residents. Canada has the right to do that. You came as a student and not a PR. Therefore you are by well established convention to go home when your studies end. To remove “landing PR’s” so you can supplant them is not gonna happen. When you invested your money for your education as a non immigrant student, you knew what you signed up for. PR was, is and never will be a guarantee.
Hey for your info as a student you're supposed to be a student that's it and for those who landed here as PR we are more qualified, educated, has more money and smarter. Do your research you might get overwhelmed about what they ask/ requirements for PR applications.
Are you okay? Those who landed as PR earned their way in unlike some International students who just took whatever program from some diploma mill college just to take advantage of a loophole and obtain PR. Oh well if you cannot earn it you can pay for it.
Hi Emma, nabasa mo ung cic news kagabi pero medyo nabitin ako SA info so I checked your vlog and as u Always very detailed. Salamat SA effort. Laking tulong SA tulad Namin magplano to study and nag aabang Ng update. God bless you🙏
Yup, maghahanap nalang agad ng lmia. But, the more demand sa lmia, mas hihirap ang job market kasi mas maraming competition and rarami din ang scam na nagpapabayad to get lmia.
Panic mode na kasi si prime minister galit na yong citizen sa Canada I’m sure hindi na yan manalo next election dahil sa housing crisis healthcare crisis job crisis maraming citizens no work, bringing a lot of people piro hindi ready yong job market. Housing at healthcare. Sa bahay napaka mahal. Healthcare getting worse. New generation Canadian walang work kasi napunta sa international student mostly yung job .
Too much struggle laki pa ng gastos no assurance plan b uwi na lng kayo may propesyon nman kayo why do you have to stay too stressful na yan .
I don’t understand your grief. Of course Canada, like any other country will think of their citizens and permanent residents first before non immigrants in terms of benefits, housing and employment. They choose first, then what they don’t want, the nonimmigrants can catch with their net. That’s just the way it is everywhere. Just remember international students are here to study and technically expected to go back to their home country after graduation and being a permanent resident under that guise is a bonus and is completely under the control of the Canadian Immigration and government dependent on needs. Changes in immigration policies are up to them. Just hope that some will not be retroactive to those who are already in Canada. Getting bitter about it does no good so meanwhile, be thankful for being in Canada and expect the worse as time goes on. If you don’t like how Canada operates when it comes to immigration policies, feel free to just leave and spread the news back home about the experience and let them decide if they want to pursue coming to Canada.
@@USA-CANADA1480 HAHAHAHAHAH of course you won’t understand kase wala ka sa kalagayan namen. Yung mga citizen and PR mismo ang mapili sa trabaho then ang IS ang affected? The math is not mathing. Bakit lahat ng burden is nasa IS? Also, as if di mo alam kalakaran na kaya nag aaral sa canada mga IS is to be a permanent resident, eto naman talaga ang end goal.
@@Wewew2012shouldn’t be the end goal. Studying abroad is a privilege - it’s not a right to necessarily obtain PR after that. A lot of people study here and go back home.
@@USA-CANADA1480I agree with you here. Many people are trying to use it as a cheat code for PR. Student visa means temporary stay. I studied a degree in the US and I came back home to Canada. I did not expect to stay there afterwards…
