We adopted a beagle about a year ago that had been tested on for 7 years. She's about 10 now. She still struggles with understanding how to be a dog. She is learning from our dog, who also had troubles with grass for a while. She's grown a lot since we've got her.
@@Wally_darling6969sALTACCOUNT lily is the beagle we adopted! She had a home before us, where she had been for 3ish years, but they couldn't care for her anymore. The person who owned her before loved her very much too! So, she's had 2 loving homes since she was taken out of the testing situation
Oh my god, I lost it when the first person to choose a beagle, chose the oldest one cause she knew she may get picked last. I absolutey broke down in tears of happiness. 🥺🥺🥺
animal testing is such a horrible thing, its heartbreaking thinking what they’ve been through knowing they never got to live a normal dog life and have been cooped up in a cage. & what your doing is amazing hope all these dogs get adopted by a loving family!! ❤️
Basically using chemicals on animals. Drugs that are tested on animals also have low rates of success-92 percent of experimental drugs that work safely in nonhuman animals fail in human clinical trials because they are too dangerous or ineffective.
Yep, always make sure there's a cruelty free sign on any makeup, skincare, etc so you know you aren't contributing to that horrible act!! It's usually marked on the package or you can look it up online it will usually says if it's cruelty free or not!! 😊😊
@@WonderBug377 Basically products that we use everyday need to be safety checked. Cleaning products, hair & makeup, toothpaste, and even medications. But they start with animals. They keep the animals in small confide cages for their whole life to spray them with cleaners you use on your kitchen. Rum shampoo or toothpaste in their eyes, mouth, or nose, or injected them with human meds to see what happens to them. Wich can lead to horrifying injury or illness to the animal. For medications, they sometimes make them sick with what ever the medication is for. Example: if they had a medicine for seizures, they would do something to make the dog have a seizure and see if the medicine stops it. That's where the saying "I don't want to be your guinea pig" come from. They use to use guinea pigs a lot in medication testing.
The first dog I adopted was an older beagle. She was sitting in the middle of the street in front of my apartment and literally followed me home. I took her to the SPCA and no one ever claimed her so I adopted her a week later. She remembered me and howled like crazy when I showed up to bring her home! She was so happy and loving and she was by my side for 5 years until she died of old age. Gotta love a beagle 💖
I LOVED that first woman to pick out a new pup.... Grabbed the oldest because they are usually looked over and stopped to pet Tashi and reassure her that she would find a home. 💜💙
Our Daisy was a rescue from Envigo in March 2022 from Priceless Pets. Since she wasn't socialized as a puppy, her interactions with humans is complicated. Our little girl is having to learn how to be a dog but is slowly making progress. Daisy has two devoted older beagle brothers who are helping her transition. So far she's learned to use the doggie door, go potty outside and come when called (or as best as beagles do with that). No matter how long it takes, we're going to give her the best life possible.
I have a special place in my heart for beagles, since I've had one for 12 years. She's almost 14 years old and she, thankfully, was never a laboratory dog. But she reminds me why I always do my best to only buy cruelty-free products. I couldn't imagine what she would be like now if she had spent her first 2 years being tortured and abused like that.
they do this to test medications and human products to see if it’s safe but they don’t always take into consideration that dogs and humans react differently to these products
I personally don’t hate animal testing. What I hate is what conditions the animals are kept in and the refusal to up keep with any problems the animals develop. If the animals were taken care of after any problems in testing the animals wouldn’t need to live in cages their whole lives or need to be in a shelter.
This video brought tears to my eyes. I wish it was like this everyday for all abandoned animals. Thank you Rocky for showing so much love and compassion to these innocent souls.
As a Beagle Mama this absolutely warms my heart. A Beagle is the most amazing, loving, kindest breed I've ever owned. As a vet tech I've owned many breeds. I'm so so thankful for everything all of you have done for these beautiful beagle babies❤😘
When I lost my dog when I was little, that was the saddest thing that happened to me, knowing that you are saving lots of dogs is making me very happy. Thank you for doing this, and this is really helpful for any of these dogs💕
I read about these beagles. Florida got some of them into rescue. Beagles will always be my first breed of love. I've had 5 of them in my lifetime. I am so glad he was adopted and is in better care away from testing facilities like that one.
Clearly Tashi has been a Mama. The saddest part of that is that they didn't just experiment on Beagles...they also use them to make more "numbers" for them! 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺 💗🙏🌺
AWWW "I picked her because she's the oldest and I knew she'd be picked last, so I picked her first" (loving, beautiful granny). That rly warmed my heart, it's such a beautiful thing to say and do for a older aged dog.
What your doing here for the dogs is really heartwarming. I can't believe people can be so heartless, you are a role model for all us pet owners, along with humanity itself.
This really breaks my heart. Watching them be passed in and out of that kennel but never truly experiencing the world. Thank you Rocky for all that you do. You truly make the world better! ❤❤❤
I love that even though it was a family with young kids, the kids knew she was more shy and mellow than the other dogs and loved her for it and seemed super gentle with her.
laying next to my sweet beagle Puddles right now 🥺 warms my heart how much light is being shed on this awful situation that these poor loving dogs are being put into and that they are finally finding a loving home. thank you for all you do!
My girl was half Beagle, half Lab. I called her a Blab 😂 that instant "nose to the ground" is such a Beagle thing! Love your channel, and all you do for these sweethearts. ❤
Oh, I totally get the feeling when you want your foster to get adopted ❤ I’ve had my older fosters be the last one standing a few times, and it’s almost gut wrenching. You just want folks to know how wonderful they are 🥰
When the dogs were having ice cream and you said some people may think this is over the top, I had to comment to say, nooooo it’s not, it’s perfect - it’s the best most beautiful thing ever! Watching you and all these wonderful people helping these dogs heal and find love and safety is such a joy. I can’t thank you all enough for what you do 💕
Tashi you will never be mistreated again, you got a new family with kids who will forever love you! You and all of those other beagles scored it big! And to the lady who took the oldest one first thank you for giving that girl a home.
I am crying because she got adopted and she can begin her new life. I hope that lab burns to the ground and those less than humans get prosecuted for animal cruelty to the fullest extent.
I literally started crying when the dogs realised that they’re safe now it’s so sad that animals are used for human health they don’t deserve this and animals definitely shouldn’t be tested on 😢😢❤
This is just so wonderful to watch. I loved to see that those Beagles get a forever home. It was also so beautiful to see Tashi coming out of her shell and taking her first steps to being a real dog. Thank you so much Priceless Pets and Rocky Kanaka for helping those Beagles.
My beagle, Del Boy , was rescued from a testing lab , he had never had real food and they threw him on the street and he never had real food before. When we came home 7month old Del Boy and 6 year old me where extremely excited to see each other as we only met once, He is now 4 and we still love him to bits! ❤ thank you for saving the poor beagles
14:43 almost made me cry seeing all of those dogs in cages like that. We as people can do so much better, and it’s so sad that someone would lock a dog in a cage like this, because all dogs deserve a loving home and a happy life. This is so cruel. I’m so glad Tashi is happy now.
I am sobbing 😭 watching these adorable beagles. I have a huge heart for them 🐶… I hope they will get a fur-ever home 🙏❤️. Lots of love and prayers from Denmark 🇩🇰.
Was just so amazing to watch you, Rocky, and other fantastic people help, love and transform this adorable, brave beagle - "Tashi!"!! And to then find her and so many others such loving, forever homes!! 👏 🌟 A MILLION THANKS AND OUR DEEP ADMIRATION!! THE UK SHOULD EXTENT KNIGHTHOODS TO YOU!! ❤️ 🙏
I randomly remembered to check your channel! So happy you chose us for her first puppacino! Such a sweetie 💛 I'm gunna binge the rest of your stuff. Keep up the kindness 😊
i adopted a 3 year old beagle who was being tested on she struggles to be a dog she is not very social every time wee go on a car ride with and without her she thinks wee are going to leave her and i think you are just the nicest helping Tashi get adopted and giving her the life she deserved.
One of my cats came from a veterinary testing lab that closed years ago. It has been so rewarding to help her become her true cat self. When I first got her, she didn't even know that human beds are a great place to sleep; my other cat had to teach her. She is very clever, though. She is always the first one to figure out any new thing I might bring home.
🐶I'm so happy that Tashi got adopted and i decided to join.I adopted my dog Skipper 2 years ago from a rescue organisation he is a Black mouth Cur mix and love him so much we have 5 acres of land a lot of space for him to run and play🐶
I have 2 beagles. One is a blue tick beagle, other is a normal beagle. They are so sweet and loving. It’s heartbreaking to know beagles get tested on a ton. I love you work!
When you said some ppl could think this is over the top, I just wanted to cry. Because these poor dogs have been through such horrible things, they truly deserve the world. Nothing could ever be over the top in my mind.
The mom wagging her tail 😭😭 even though she was probably tested on she was still excited being held. She could probably sense she and some her babies were being saved
Why are these precious innocent beagles still being tested on, especially caged up 24/7 in an inhumane manner?😢 No animal should ever be treated like a piece of object, as if they feel no emotions or pain, especially love. With exposure from social media, it's been proven plenty of times that all living beings, such as these beagles, feel love & emotions, just like humans.❤🐾❤
i can't even lie, i cried happy tears watching Tashi get adopted. i've never met her, but it's clear that she's had a difficult life, thank you for taking her in, showing her how to be a dog, and that not all humans are bad people in the lab. it makes me so happy seeing former test animals getting adopted into the loving home they deserve. 💕
Beagles are the most loving little dogs. To take so much abuse and still be willing to take a chance on having a relationship with people is amazing to me. They deserve better!
@@M00Ndakitty I agree with you in terms of cosmetic products, animal testing for these is horrible. But they are sadly necessary for medical products, if we don't decide on testing humans. These animals are heroes and are helping to learn how to beat cancer, parkinson, etc., but they should never be kept like seen in these video. I don't know for what these beagles were tested, but it doesn't matter, 'cause their living conditions were horrible
@@jackiegerlach actually non-human animals (humans are actually animals) are actually terrible for testing medical stuff for humans, like medications because every animal has a different natural response to certain chemicals. This is because every animal is designed differently. Even our closest relative, the chimpanzee is still different enough from a human. There have been situations when a new medication works very well on non-human animals, like rats, but preformed poorly on humans.
My adopted beagle recently turned 10. I remember how she checked SO MUCH out on our walks in the park when we adopted her nine years ago. I never knew her previous life but she overcame a few apprehensive insecurities. Love helps the dog. Beagles are great for many reasons.
As someone from Cumberland Virginia living a few miles from the testing lab THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for saving these beautiful souls. They all deserve nothing but the best and unconditional love ❤
I feel so happy as a dog owner myself, my dog Gigi is so happy you did this, my dog is so nice and i love her, and i'm so happy you did this, You deserve the most subs in the worlds you are the nicest person.
I am SO happy to see these beagles. I spent a lot of time sending letters and signing petitions to get this to happen. I even donated to their flight out. It is so rewarding when the work pays off.
These sweet angels. Thank you for everything u do honestly and everyone helping . God bless these angels and give them unconditional love and happiness . All of them dogs and puppies.
Testing labs are so horrible I cant imagine being one of the beagles or being any animal who is being tested on. I wish someday all animal testing facilities get shut down and all of the animals go to good homes but thats a future we can dream about but if we try and fight for these poor animals we can do it, This is the first step♡!!! Thank you rocky for spreading awareness about beagle testing and helping little tashi!
