You are absolutely right, the bead was already broken. This video is just to show the principle of how to break a tyre bead. And yes, you can break a rusted bead on an old rim. Thank for taking the trouble of you comment.

You are quite right Josh. The idea of the video is to show the principle of how to break the bead. I could have re-inflated the tyre to reseal the bead, but I have better things to do, like making other videos to help people out. Never the less, I hope you found the video interesting.

You are quite right Juan. You get to a certain point in your life when you don't want to keep fighting everything or doing everything the hard way. You take the junk to the dump and start looking for easier ways to do thinks. That's why I made the bead breaker.
