Jesse choking out Todd has even more meaning after watching El Camino.

I just realized after watching this show so many times that Lydia had to ask for more Stevia because Walt made sure the only packet she could grab was the one he put the ricin in. So brilliant

Hearing Walt finally admit that he did everything for him and because he liked it and was good at it, that just gives me chills. Such amazing acting...

It’s crazy how talented Cranston is, especially when BB first came out. That whole first season I just saw the dad from Malcom in the Middle. The whole cast grew in this show. The actors got better and the camera crew did too.

I love the line delivery of that “Hard working good partner, 50-50 partner” there is just so much sarcasm it’s beautiful

Breaking Bad is my favorite show so I'm biased but this was the best season finale ever. It wrapped up every loose thread and gave the perfect ending to Walt's story. That end scene was just fantastic especially as the music kicks in. Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul are such good actors and they absolutely killed it in this episode. Aaron especially because he had so few scenes to do it. But Jesse's emotions come off as so believable you almost forget it's acting. You feel his rage when he strangles Todd and his relief and excitement is so palpable when he finally escapes. I loved Hannah's reaction to the Nazis getting gunned down. And I think it's safe to say that Hannah was all of us when Jesse strangled Todd to death. I was always under the impression that Walt's original plan was to gun down everyone in that room, including himself and Jesse, with his trunk gun. But then when he saw Jesse and that he wasn't Jack's partner but instead his slave, Walt changed his plan to save Jesse. Even after everything there was some fucked up bond between these two that they couldn't forget.

"YEAAHHH!!, TOOK THE LIFE OUT OF HIM!!" Maaaaaan.... i love her.

Compared to the finales of other great TV shows, this one is very satisfying.

The lyrics to the final song 'Baby Blue' work so well in context, referring to Walt's relationship to his meth product. "Didn't know you'd think that I'd regret, or I'd forget, the special love I had for you...my baby blue"

Hey loving Hannas reactions. Also one last note: the Ricin. From near enough thee begin of the show the ricin was implied but never ever used. It was made initially to poison Tuco all the way in S2 but never happened. It was also used to kill Guss and trick Jesse into getting on Walts side in S4 and finally when he goes to collect it from his house where it has been dormant since he fooled Jesse into thinking it was in his cleaningmachine in his house. The relief finally of him using it to effect to murder Lydia. Was satisfiying. The ricin is a film trope I think it is a maguffin but might be something else. Just love how they dragged out the ricin story then finally resolved it

I love how you started off saying how much you appreciate the little details of this show, including the cinematography, the production design and nuance. When you watch the shows that define the "golden age of TV" (From Buffy to GoT) you can see the production value and writing of the best storytellers in our society. Thanks for sharing with us.

The finale shot looks like a cross hair on Walter AND the rectangular metal frame setup with the lab equipment is kind of reminiscent of the rectangular RV where Walt did his first cook

Ah what a welcome surprise

A simply superb ending to a simply superb series. Love the shot with Walter and Skylar in the kitchen. That slow reveal is fantastic. It gives the impression like he's already dead. Just a spectre haunting his old life.

Hank shot Jack the way he shot Hank, mid sentence. Now that is poetic.

If I ever get a super power to erase my memory, I'd erase that part of experience that I had watching breaking bad, just to watch it all over again :)

You have to watch Better Call Saul after! It's a bit slow in the first two seasons, but it's much more in-depth and we get to explore how BB characters got where they are.

I love the scene of Jessie making the box in woodworking class back in highschool. The box he talked about.. "is this the best you can do? He didn't say it in a mean way.. like he was just asking me, is this all you've got?" while making his last ever batch of blue. After leaving the compound Jessie is now the best meth manufacturer in the world, he is the best at something and no one else is on his level.. but that's all he's got, he's broken, PTSD will set in, he is never going to be able to live a normal life.

Finally decide to watch the series for the first time and I was one hell of a ride. The past few days this series managed to fill me with a shit load of different emotions! Like my head is literally aching because of the finally episode. Tho I must say that it was all worth it. I've never watched a series like this and it's definitely a favorite of mine! I'm happy the way it ended and it was just bloody brilliant! The acting, everything is just top notch! Nothing more to be said and I always had that song Feleena by Marty Robbins in my phone, it's one of my favorite and now I have amazing memories to remember whenever I listen that song! Now it's time to for some sleep!

Everyone who crossed walt fucking died. A chemistry teacher turned into a ruthless badass gangsta. I'm gonna watch the whole show again.

His eyes stare up at us, lifeless. And yet, his final expression is one of faint satisfaction. We slowly CRANE UP, UP and AWAY from him. Walt shrinks smaller and smaller in frame. POLICE OFFICERS approach him now -- four, six, eight of them. They move in cautiously, their guns aimed. They’re too late. He got away. We continue SKYWARD, looking down on Walt, rising as high as we can go. Off this image, slowly FADING TO BLACK... END SERIES

You caught that reference to the robot being built to save them.. I say to everyone when they finish the series and they never caught it. Bravo to you man

Loved the reaction, but I really feel the need to interject whenever I hear this. Walt DID NOT get screwed over by Gretchen and Elliot. Walt left the company of his own accord because he didn’t like the fact that it was going to be initially funded by Gretchen’s family money. He got prideful and hurt and decided to go forge his own success and he ended up a underpaid high school teacher working a second job to make ends meet. And then years later, Gretchen and Elliot generously offered to bring him back on and help pay his treatments despite the fact that Walt abandoned the company. People need to stop spreading this rumor that Walt was fucked over just to make him seem more sympathetic. Everything that has happened to Walt (besides his cancer) has been a direct consequence of his choices.

What's crazy to me is that they had no idea what to do with that flash-forward from the beginning of season 5 when the wrote it. They figured it out a year later while writing the final episodes.

Am I the only one who thinks the whole, "oh he became Heisenberg here thing" is bullshit? He was Walt, and Heisenberg the whole show throughout. He had feelings of both men entirely, at the same time.

I’ve seen a lot of analysis videos just on that last shot of Walter in the lab, and I don’t remember of any of them noticing the crosshair formation over him. Nice catch!
