I watched every popular series almost systematically because all the debates about best ever. I watched both GOT and BB again and went through everything i could fine. I consider BB the best all around series ever and GOT a close 2nd but last season trashed it. The wire, sopranos and dexter were all close

Chemotherapy targets rapid dividing cells (that's what cancer is) like the ones in the hair on your head. Eyebrows are slow dividing so most people tend to not lose them.

Well, today I found out I have to have six rounds of chemo and then after that I have to have radiation. I went through another type of cancer 8 years ago with just chemo. I guess it might help some people to talk about their feelings while they're going through it. In any event, I thoroughly enjoy this, it's a great show, never saw it before!

About the poor Hugo, I always thought Hank would consider him guilty, but I don't know how it works in US. Here in Italy, for example, police cannot arrest you in the street just for a suspiction. They call you, or send you a letter, telling you to go to the police station to answering some questions, and then they arrest you if it's the case. Arresting people in front of other people ruin the reputation, and no one can do so just for a suspect, so unless someone is committing a crime right there, or we're talking about a certified dangerous chriminal they were already chasing, they don't arrest people in the street like that just to make him/her questions. But I didn't understand who stopped the medicine to Algeria from France. France or Algeria?

He was most likely charged with possession of a controlled substance (the weed in his car) but no he wasn't charged with the theft because you cant charge someone based on what you think somebody did

@@JustinJurazicksome cops do though. It usually doesn’t hold up but sometimes it does if the judge is corrupt too.

@aggravatedHart For sure, thankfully, bodycams help with that a lot now. I'm sure back in the day cops got away with a lot more

The cops were looking into Hugo because he had prior drug convictions and because he had keys to the equipment storage room. They probably got a warrant to search his locker, car, etc... at work. Then they found weed, which apparently is illegal in that state ( at leat at the time of the show.) So he was arrested for possession, and because it's a school, it's taken more seriously. The cops would have used this to question him about the bigger crime they wer actually investigating.

As I've seen in your channel, you are already doing Season 2... but there's one more episode left in Season 1 after this one, episode 7: "A No-Rough-Stuff-Type Deal". If so, maybe you should backtrack a bit...

"Heisenberg" is a reference to the real German theoretical physicist Werner Heisenberg. He was a genius, basically the father of modern quantum mechanics and came up with the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle, which you can maybe make some connection with the uncertain dual, uncertain nature of Walt's morality. The real Heisenberg worked for the Nazis on generation of atomic power, and was asked about nuclear weapons development, but he didn't go far with that.

You noticed Walt was feeling guilty when seeing Jessie, for telling him to handle it. He did put him in a lot of danger.

About that cancer support group, i do agree to a degree that airing out your dirty laundry in a group setting is questionable. But i also know that sharing your f'd up story can help people that have noone else to talk too.

This series is absolute perfection. Walter White is such a complex character, yet he's just a man who could be your neighbor next door. It's impossible not to become emotionally invested in him. His resourcefulness, intelligence and courage, forced to do things so unimaginable and outside his integrity, to live another day. A rather bleak set of circumstances. A family beset by illness, a handicapped adolescent and enormous financial pressure. The genius is the way "gallows humor" relieves us, if just for a moment, when things seem unbearable. Every aspect from the camera work, the cast and the writing keeps us wanting more. I enjoy watching with you guys and the way you react and appreciate this brilliant American T.V. series. Looking forward to the next one!

Jesse calls Walter Mr. White not exactly because of respect, it’s because he was his school teacher and it’s VERY hard for students to stop doing so even many years later, especially when the age gap is this high. Likewise a school coach will always be addressed as “coach” forever even if the kid wasn’t in sports, as long as the kid had them as a teacher or something.

I agree that Skylar was out of pocket to bring Walt to that group and call him out. Deal with it at home
@Greenlion781
@Greenlion781 25 дней назад
Your observation about the support group not being a good thing (i.e. how it's superior to keep your problems at home not in front of other people) is very relevant to the character development in the show. They're building it up to show you how Walter is motivated to be a dangerous man because so much of the culture is obsessed with insulting and damaging his masculinity.
