Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul, the stars of the hit series "Breaking Bad," joined "Veep" leading lady Julia Louis-Dreyfus in a pawnshop parody, lampooning the Emmy awards. The sketch was produced by Audi.
This is like the alternate ending of breaking bad where Walter and Jesse went into Saul’s witness protection plan together and ran a pawn shop the rest of their lives
@@Smeagol_y_su_precioso I just saw it for first time yesterday lol its hilarious. Pure gold. He got right back into the Hal character. Lois is great too. We need a malcolm in the middle spinoff like they had the new baby/older kids left home etc I miss that show lol
Little known fact: Ed actually set Walt and Jesse up with new identities and relocated them to L.A. When he left, he told them, “Mr. Cranston, Mr. Sturdevant, good luck.”

Bryan when she says she is not from Weeds at 1:39: “Oh… oh oh oh oh…” such a great chewy character actor. So many beautiful touches from all the brilliant actors throughout.
Ikr, his acting is just unreal. When he does the grumbling "supporting" or the "be much more valuable if it was a drama". You can see he loves acting so much.
These 2 could dead pan read the news no drama or spin, just straight factual news and it would be the highest rated news show on TV. They could do literally anything.
It took me until today to realise Bryan Cranston plays the Dad in Malcom in the middle. He's the bloody "grey man". He blends in anywhere, man could have been a spy.
RealSupaHotFireVEVO It was a sarcastic and sly joke about AMC. It's the cable network that produced "Breaking Bad." Historically, cable channels pay less than networks. Brian and Aaron actually made quite a bit of money by the end of the series. ;)
Only when he is reprising his role from Breaking Bad though lol If you watch an assortment of his roles, especially the ones from before Breaking Bad, you can see the beginnings of that character in each and every part he has ever played. Seriously, and he’s not the only actor to have that phenomenon. Watch the 5 characters Johnny Depp played prior to Jack Sparrow and you will see it. It’s why people say “oh he’s the same in every role he plays” about certain actors. And not just minor or mediocre actors either. Watch 5-6 de niro movies in a row and you will see it. I’m not bagging on those actors either, some of them are my favourites like Keanu Reeves, Al Pacino, Tom Cruise, to name just a few. You will also hear the phrase “that part was made for him/her”. When an actor can get several of those parts in a row one of two things happens. Either they get “pigeonholed” and can’t get any parts other than the ones that are identical to his/her last few parts Or their career skyrockets and they get whatever parts they want which of course is the best outcome. Look up Bryan Cranston on the Graham Norton show here on RU-vid and you will see that even when he’s not playing a character he’s the same as several of his characters lol. I think this happens when an actor puts his persona 100% into the character he’s playing. Also, when a lot of the actors actual ticks and mannerisms are part of 2 or more of the characters they play it happens. Anyway, I think Cranston is incredible so who cares lol Cheers mate
Prepperjon An interesting observation, not sure how true. Depp for example surprised a lot of people with his Pirates character, to go so large, when the majority of his previous work was occasionally quirky but usually low key changed the course of his career and also the public perception of him. An actor's ability to be completely different from film to film is always going to be restricted by their physical characteristics. Alec Guinness for example couldn't 'hide' a very distinctive vocal tone. I'd argue that Gary Oldman comes closest to the kind of actor that seems to merge into the characters he plays.
@@onurarslan2108 that's one way to reveal to everyone that you have no idea what makes up good acting. Cranston is easily among the best working actors in Hollywood today.
@@kendrickbritto8556 It's a bit like Simpsons but not a cartoon, and better in my opinion. At least better than later Simpsons episodes (season 7 onwards) 😎
@@kendrickbritto8556 it’s a good relief from those cheesy sitcoms with the fake laughter in the background. The show does all the heavy lifting it doesn’t need all that extra stuff to make you laugh
+pajarosnaranja also at 3:44 u can notice that mexican sculpture. It's also from the series.Hank Shreder(Walter White's brother in law) first saw this when he got promoted to go to a job in Mexico. It was a dude from Mexico that was a highly ranked criminal, but the officers had him on their office because "Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer" or smth like that. Then when Shrader didn't go back to this job because it was too brutal for him,he kept one of those in his office.
Didn't know. A natural then. Look up the table reading clip with most of the cast if you haven't yet and Aaron is just slaying it, letting go of all the emotions and everything (its from season 5 i think so its when jessie has had his nervous breakdown) . Even some of the other actors gets teared up a bit. Pure skill and talent.
Loved Brian’s bit where he says the Emmy would be worth more if it was for drama, which is what he won his for. He was double-dissing Julia’ s Supporting Actor in a Comedy Emmy. Absolute genius from these three and the writers 👏👏👏👏👏👏
@@Ludovicus1769 How kind of you to point out that RU-vid’s autocorrect changed a consonant to a vowel in something that I typed six months ago but made no difference to the sense of why I was writing about.

It was a smart move tho, they had him at the supporting category, so that he and Bryan will rack up the awards together with Anna Gunn in their own categories. Man, I remember when the Breaking Bad theme played so many times at the Emmy's after they read the winner. The show won so many awards.
