At the end doeee.... "OW MY ASSBONE!!! Man, ow, that really fucking hurt." I just died. Breaking Benjamin, I love you and your music. I listen to it 24/7, usually when I'm in deep concentration with art work at school lol. ^_^
I just now after like about 100 views just realized that Ben is wearing a Decepticon logo shirt now officially one the coolest hard rock musicians ever
I want a normal life Just like a newborn child I am a lover-hater I am an instigator You are an oversight Don't try to compromise I learn to love to hate it I am not integrated Just call my name You'll be okay Your scream is burning through my veins Sooner or later You're gonna hate it Go ahead and throw your life away Driving me under Leaving me out there Go ahead and throw your life away You're like an infantile I knew it all the while You sit and try to play me Just like you see on TV I am an oversight Just like a parasite Why am I so pathetic I know you won't forget it Just call my name You'll be okay Your scream is burning through my veins Sooner or later You're gonna hate it Go ahead and throw my life away Driving me under Leaving me out there Go ahead and throw my life away Sooner or later You're gonna hate it Go ahead and throw our life away Driving me under Leaving me out there Go ahead and throw our life away Throw our life away, uh uh uh uh Throw our life away
Hey man the reason he doesn't hit the notes right is because he is doin an acoustic set . So leave your dumb opinions to yourself because ben brunley is a lyrical god. He makes the song different for the setting dude. Appreciate tht they even do acoustic songs for all of us to enjoy .
I swear there used to be another version of them performing this one acoustically in a studio, and Ben hit all the notes just like in the rock version... but I can’t find it anywhere for the life of me
Ik what you’re talking about. It’s on some EP version. I remember hearing that on Pandora in like 2012 but remember you couldn’t find it on Spotify or iTunes.
The only other acoustic versions I've found of this one are at live shows, which there's one where he does it almost perfectly but it isn't a studio recording, so it's not as clear.
@@DIAMONDISKEY I know this a mad kate response but I just straight up agree and feel like too many people get caught up in the sound that got em into their music that they just lose all appreciation for their new sound regardless of how good it may be. My opinion though. I just feel nostalgia defines people's taste in a band too much after they do a change of pace
They're still just as good, and definitely in a better relationship with each other than these guys ever were and it shows in their music/ performances.
If, as a singer, you cannot hit the notes of the vocal melody, then please do not play the song live. I am tired of singers singing a different melody line because they cant perform the stuff live. You dont hear the guitar player playing a different riff because their fingers are tired....this version stinks
You don't change a vocal melody to fit acoustic dummy. The vocal melody IS the vocal melody, they are notes that can be written out on sheet music. If you change that, it isn't the same vocal melody. You idiots think he changed the melody because he is an amazing artist....I am just enlightening you that the reason he changed it is because he can't hit the notes. Thats weak in my book.
Hmm. He changed the last way he sings part of So Cold in AOL Sessions. He sings 'show me how defenseless'... "You really are!" ... in a much higher note to bring a bit more variety to the acoustic set. Artists change the vocal melody around all the time when performing acoustic sets. Just look up 'Breaking Benjamin Hopeless Acoustic' and you'll see.
Are you honestly suggesting that he changed ONLY THE HIGH NOTES that are hard to sing live, for "artistic reasons"??? You guys really are too much of fanboys to even have an objective perspective on this. Sheesh.
Bwahaha. No, I understand that Ben has a lot of health issues but he still sings fantastically well. I feel like your comment was implying that you were yelling because you're so fed up with being... I don't know... Wrong, you could say it? Did you even look up that acoustic set? Cause he sings a heckuva lot higher than the notes he 'changed to sing easier' in this song... You could also look up "Benjamin Burnley hits ridiculously high note."
