his voice is on fire here! there is no studio magic for the people saying it doesnt sound as good as the recording. its about mixing and a proper soundsetup . his voice is on point here
i noticed and realized a little while back that alot of singers don't sound as good as they should because alot of them jump around and all that stuff and it gets their heartrate up and then causes them to have to breath way faster therefor changing their tone and stuff
Dude.. for real.. Breaking Benjamin deserved more credit than they did. There was so much competition back when they were big. LINKIN PARK was owning the stage. Rip Chester Bennington....
I wouldn’t say they were underrated but definitely under appreciated. They aren’t talked about enough even though every rocker knows who they are. Like even if your just casually into alternate rock you would know at least one or two of their songs. They are popular yes, but not noticed enough for their unique sound and talent.
Damn it seems like every live performance sounds exactly the same as them in the studio. Which is a great thing that very and I mean very few people can do imo.

Well if they hadn't screwed up and tried to make money behind Ben's back from that song from the Halo Soundtrack they would probably still be there...they did it to themselves....sad but true..
@@NikWicker tried to release a remix I believe of blow me away to the label for a soundtrack or something behind bens back. In their defense I think Ben was sick a lot back then and with him being irreplaceable money was running dry so they got desperate
From my understanding Ben is the sole owner of the breaking Benjamin name and music catalog they tried to go behind his back and sell there music then tried suing him for ownership of the name.
What I like about Ben, is the fact he doesnt always make excuses for his vioce live, and he doesnt need to. Ive seen like, 3 videos when his vioce hasnt been perfect live, and tbh, due to the facts hes only human, and the instrumental work more than made for it, I have huge respect for this band.
On southern Oregons rock station 96.9 the rogue, they play Angels Fall, The Diary of Jane, Failure, Breath, So Cold, I Will Not Bow, Far Away. I believe that's it.
This is the best live version of this song hands down. I’ve seen these guys live three times and they’ve been amazing every time. They were great when they toured with three days grace. The real three days grace. Freakin awesome show.
I got into this band a long time ago, listened to everything they made and slowly faded away from them but kept in touch every once in a while, then i watched a drum cover of this song then i immediately watched this video, never turn away from BB. I learnt my lesson.
Have you been to one of their concerts? The entire band has so much energy on stage, and Ben Burnley's vocals are really, really powerful. Honestly, the four or five shows I saw them in were some of the best concerts I've ever been to. Burnley doesn't suck live.
I've seen them live many times over the years. Ben can still sing even today, though this performance has to be the second best I've ever heard from him (second only to a live show I saw back in '08).
One of the first videos I ever saw that I remember to this day as being one of the reasons I got into music. Thanks to RLH on the Xbox for even introducing me to them, so grateful for my journey. Breaking Ben forever!
OMG. Was there life before this group? I feel this music;it touches my soul unlike any other group - man I am in my 40's but this rocks unlike anything I have ever heard.
I got lucky. REALLY lucky. Before they came on, me and my friends were chillin' on one of the walkways and a radio DJ from one of the rock stations here walked right by us. We called his name to see if it was him. It was, and we ended up talking to him for about ten minutes before BB came on. At the end of the show, we were waiting for everyone to leave and we see him again. He recognised us and brought us backstage. Best. Day. Ever.
Okay at first I thought BB was one of those bands who sounded good in studio only, but after seeing this, I'm not only impressed and proven wrong, but also an official fan of Breaking Benjamin.
i love watching this one because you can so tell the whole band loves this song. whenever i see "so cold" live, they always get really into it and do an awesome job that i've never really seen with any of their other songs.
AlexJ RU-vid wasn't around till 2005.... And didn't get so famous until 2006, and it got popular in 2009.... Hence why old things were mostly uploaded 2006-2009

When the vocal chords are warmed up, they can take quite a beating. I've been singing for quite a while and I've been screaming for about 4 years. Nothing so far, if anything I've gotten stronger. No worries about BB, they rock! =D
I love Godsmack and Breaking Benjamin, not only 'cause they produce badass music, but they can actually perform it live, just like the album versions. Not all computer edited shit bags like most other bands. Or mainstream rap/hiphop.
this songs rocks and the fact that Ben Burnley writes all the music for Breaking Benjamin is amazing. Why do you think its called Breaking Benjamin, cause back in the day, he broke someones mike stand doing open mic and they call him Breaking Benjamin and thats how they got their name. GK290 I don't think we should debate who is weaker or better, the discussion should be about favorites. Both drummers are fantastic drummers. Stylistically, I prefer Jeremy all day everyday, but I love Chad's work in Black label Society and like the way he played in Adrenaline Mob.

There have been many rock bands throughout music history that people have loved and followed, but few have truly known that they had something that would change rock music. Sometimes when I watch these live videos, and I see a certain look in Ben's eye, I wonder if he knew that this was one of those bands. Truly iconic.
