I remember when my girlfriend and I were at a park, she broke up with me there. I remember driving away blasting this song.. Works miracles, cause I didn't have any feelings after listening to this song except a contented soul.
I'm losing sight Don't count on me I chase the sun It chases me You know my name You know my face You'd know my heart If you knew my place I'll walk straight down As far as I can go I'll follow you, you follow me I don't know why you lie so clean I'll break right through the irony Enlighten me Reveal my fate Just cut these strings That hold me safe You know my head You know my gaze You'd know my heart If you knew your place I'll walk straight down As far as I can go I'll follow you, you follow me I don't know why you lie so clean I'll break right through the irony Cure this wait I, I hate this wait I'll follow you, you follow me I don't know why you lie so clean I'll break right through the irony I don't know why, I don't know why I'll follow you, you follow me I don't know why you lie so clean I'll break right through the irony
I heard somebody say “I’ll follow you” at work and this chorus came flashing back to me… YEARS later! I heard this album when it came out!! Haha Love music 🎵
YES!! I finally found this song... I have had it jamming in my head for so long like 6 years. I didn't know the songs name and I had no clue of the lyrics. I somehow got the feeling that it might be BB but didn't find anything. Then by miracle I was listening to random rock songs from Spotify and then this song started. I have never had so big goosebumps holy shit. I will never forget this song. I'll follow you, you follow me
Breaking Benjamin is one of those bands that has really set the bar for metal/rock bands. Fucking love them. You know my name, you know my face. You'd know my heart, if you knew your place.
Michael Springer I always wondered if the name reffers to Ben Franklin as refferance to the founding of America or if it's just a mediphore for punishment.
If you all have a moment, I have a story to tell. MW3 just came out, and I just unlocked the shield Juggernaut. Now, at the time, I used to listen to pandora while playing. The very moment I opened the crate, this song opened. I went on to live the whole song. Not kidding
Try non radio bands. They have the talent. This band is a good radio band, but couldn't cut it in real life. Real metal/ rock bands play all the time for a chance. These guys play within the guide lines and get radio time. Good radio band, shitty metal/ rock as you put it. More of a hip hop/ grudge.
One of their most underrated songs the intro is absolutely magical on a sound system. The guitar going from left speakers to right speakers was a nice little trick.
Made my 12 year old self practically blow a load when I listened to it on headphones for the first time. I took one out to see if something was wrong and was so amazed when it started playing a second guitar I couldn't hear with the other ear!
This was the first song I ever heard from them burned it in a CD and listened to it every day to and from high school...haven’t missed a concert of theirs when they come to AZ
@@justindloski9129Dark before Down is also very good but not that grunge style that I like - it feels like a different band. I also like Far Away but I'm not a fan of Ember.
@@justindloski9129But I agree, the first 4 are unbeatable. If you wanna hear rare songs in the old style - you should listen to Always, Inertia, run and 1950
I miss when they sounded like this. Not that they're bad now. I just prefer this style. Saturate and We Are Not Alone are the best albums they've done. I would pay anything for BB to make another album in this 2000s style.
Remember this song on some Assassins Creed 2 gameplay. Was addicted to that video and this song! Can’t find it anymore, hope someone else remembers this video haha Good times!
I had never heard of the band. My brother approached me with the option of going to a concert, and I said sure, just because the rest of my siblings (2 brothers and 3 sisters) were going. I attended and listened to their songs for the first time without any prior knowledge of their repertoire. It was a very small venue at an abandoned warehouse in a small town in West Texas. I immediately fell in love with their sound. Today, I love their music, but I can't deny the link of Breaking Benjamin to the bond of my siblings. I think back to those times of a group of minimun-wage earning siblings struggling to balance life with leisure, coming together to enjoy great music from a great band in a middle-of-nowhere place. This song is my favorite of BB because it reminds me of the bond I have with my family. I'd follow them all to the ends of the earth, to hell and back, because I love 'em. Edit: I had the venue mixed up with a Mudvayne concert I attended. The BB concert I attended was actually at a popular bar called Dos Amigos 2006
Great song about a man who wants to know where he truly stands in a relationship. He's saying even if it hurts me it'll be better if you're just honest with me, please don't string me along because I don't have the strength on my own to leave this relationship. He'll follow this person to rock bottom if he's allowed to.
breaking benjamin is an amazing band. i love this song while im working out or boxing. it gets my adrenaline pumping. i was listening to this song today in my car and i started blasting it. everybody was staring at me because it was so loud lol
William Patrick Corgan's influence is clear. It definitely helped the then-young Breaking Benjamin. I've been listening to this single and album since then.
