@@francosamericanmusings1560 honestly I think it’s a testament to how good the music was then. Look at all the absolute juggernauts of music came from that era.
I just looked at he comments for this video and was surprised to see you here Fooligan. I totally agree too I heard this song in that game and listen to the soundtrack for the game still today(although not on an mp3 player). I used to play it everyday before and after school.
We played a show with this band in Laredo, TX before they changed their name. My snare lock came loose and drum fell downward, this drummer ran up to my kit and held the snare in place until the song was over. I'll never forget that. True story.
So in 2002 I saw Trust Company play Live on a small ass Stage in Indianapolis when this song was starting to get really big.. What's crazy is "Breaking Benjamin" opened for them when Breaking Benjamins first radio hit "Polyamorous" was blowing the hell up!! Even though I'm more into Punk/PopPunk/Emo/Screamo, I still love this song and Trust Company.. 🤘

@schoolgamer9592 I literally just watched it. Lol.. (when they played at the Rock and Roll HF).. There's a few different YT channels that have it up.. They sound really good live.. both musically and Kevin sings really good live.. Man, I'll tell ya in 2002 when that Album first released I bought it immediately cause I loved Downfall so much!! That was the only song I had heard from them until I saw them play Live and then bought their Album.. Thanks for your response and all the Info!! 🤘🤘
I'm really thankful for my PS2 games for making me having a really good taste in music. Man it feels amazing listening to these songs take make my childhood great
that's crazy, that's where I first heard of Trust Company, was from one of the games on the sample disk that you got with PS2. I liked Downfall so much that I bought their cd and to this day still love almost every song on it!
I'm 56 and this song has been consistently in my playlists over the years. One of my favorite bangers of all time. These guys are from where I am in Alabama. So proud of them. And the original 4 members(in this video and on this song)reuniting was killer news! 🤘
The diversity in music back in 2000s is unrivaled, this was out with music all over the place like, blink, 50, ja rule, tiesto, korn, slipknot and tim mcgraw…what a good time
@@God_of_Calamity these type of bands and artists exist but they just aren't mainstream because promoters like Spotify, apple music etc don't want to promote them. So you have to dig deep to find such music.
@B agreed.. just you had to work a little harder to find the good music cause it was record shops and word of mouth with the correct people and it paid off...
1975 here. 49 in August and still loving this. I saw them in, I believe, 2000 with monster magnet. Both of them opened for Marilyn Manson. Kind of a hodgepodge billing, but I loved it and often think of that night !
Best time for music and especially rock music ever: Nu metal, grunge, alternative, emo, pop punk, post-hardcore - so much great music, no comparison to the edm trash you hear nowadays.
@@torstenscholz6243 I could forgive the over abundance of EDM & Rap you hear nowadays in the mainstream if they kept the variety that we had in the 90s and early 00s but alas, you hardly hear rock-relate music much out in the mainstream in recent years.
Honest to god, this song represents what rock music was like during the early 2000s late 90s. Those were good days to be a kid & a fan of hard rock music, before shit got soft & poppy.
how old are you dude? late 90s rock wasnt all exactly like this. dont get me wrong this is a great song and all but I keep hearing things from people who turn out to be in the mid teens or early 20s who were not old enough to even know stuff during that time. :)
I'm 43 now this month, i saw these guys at the Roseland theatre and the memorial coliseum in like 2001 and 2003. They were my second favorite band for a few years. Wish they made more music.
Dont care that its year old. I think most of the internet is hyped garbage but that made me laugh aloud and choke on my drink. I also agree whole heartedly Sincerely, An Indian.
@@rkle75901 yo, just plugged in both man, I'm goddamn 37, just coming in from trashing my 20s, dont know or care about much current stuff, to b fair I'm so outta the goddamn loop, I should just buy a rocker and start screaming at people from my porch. Damnit cant even make a succinct post, point is, randomly plugged in throwing shade I think?, sounded good but b fair I gotta actually check em out. Then put in shallow side and got stand up I think? Man I hate these fuckin phones. If this doesnt make sense, apologies, simply means I threw it at the wall. Jesus. me too man, i was waiting for i on mtv and hoping that my father does not come because i needed a parabol to change it from morocco to europe, and that was a big fucking sin for hi. hhhhh
Dude I straight up heard this on Apple Music today and thought, isn’t this the song from the Disney skate game? Looked it up and it was! I wish numetal would make a come back
I love the 90's vibe on this jam. The 90's were the best time to be young. The emergence of alt rock and the billions of branch-offs since, having our youth both before and after the emergence of the internet, before and after the rise of smart phones, before and after CGI, playing on every gaming system since Atari, living through the rise of franchises like Star Wars, Terminator, Lord of the Rings, Matrix, Harry Potter...all of it makes me realize how lucky I am to be born when I was.
I'm 35. Graduated from high school in 2007. This era of rock and metal I grew up with is all I listen to these days on my phone. Catch me OUTSIDE when I'm driving around blasting this entire album in your quiet neighborhood with NO CARE whatsoever! 😂 NOSTALGIA REIGNS!!!! 🙌🏽
I first heard this song in SFM on World of Warcraft "Tales of the Past 3". As soon as I found the name of the track and got to know the band, this band became my favorite
apart from when Dave Williams died, but not only did it start losing it's edge, metal bands were suffering, particularly when Dimebag was killed 2 years later
🤍🤍🤍🤍 [Verse 1] Fear in me so deep, it gets the best of me In the fear I fall, here it comes, face to face with me Here I stand, hold back so no one can see I feel these wounds, step down, step down Step down! Am I breaking down? [Chorus] Can I break away? Push me away, make me fall Just to see another side of me Push me away, you can't see What I see, the other side of me [Verse 2] Fall back on me and I’ll be the strength I need To save me now, just come face to face with me Stay in place, you'll be the first to see Me heal these wounds Step down, step down, step, down! Down! I’m not breaking, down! Down [Chorus] Can I break away? Push me away, make me fall Just to see another side of me Push me away, you can't see What I see, the other side of me [Bridge] Go! [Chorus] Can I break away? Push me away, make me fall Just to see another side of me Push me away, you can't see What I see, the other side of me [Outro] No one can see anything on the other side of me I walk, I crawl, losing everything and waiting for a downfall No one can see anything on the other side of me I walk, I crawl, losing everything on the downfall! Fall!
@@playstationtwo877 it's not really about loving this song, it's about being a teen during that era. . . I love 80s music, but that's not the same as being a teen or in young 20s during the 80s, which would have kicked ass!

I found this song on my old ipod, god damn, brings back memories. This song was an absolute gem back in its day and still is. Wish they still made music like this.
Hard to believe this has remained my favorite song for 18 years. Haven't once gotten tired of listening to it since I first heard it when I was 12. 🔥🤟🔥
This entire album... the whisper in the voice, the screaming, the thoughts in your head. This album speaks for me in many ways, from my own battles to a woman i'm in love with, that doesn't want me, have a great night to whoever is reading this, don't overthink whatever is bothering you. It'll be ok🤙
I was an old folks home awhile back and they were listening to swing and big band music, the music from their childhood. I wonder if I'll hear this blasting in my old folks home 50 years from now...
From trust company to chevell to story of the year this and trapted the are the bands that i listened to when i was a teen brings back a lot of those good days

Man, what a great era. I was 21 years old, saw these guys open up for Papa Roach at The Machine Shop in Flint, Mi. They became one of my favorite bands at that time.
they sounded much better as 41down. I'm from their hometown and hung out with them before they got signed, when they were 41down. they sold out although I don't blame them, it was good money. Unfortunately you can't find anything from when they were 41down.
Born in 2004 here but all i listen too is 90’s and early 2000’s rock, really missed out on that generation of music but still travel back imagining me as a teen then.
+Patrick Owers .. your post gave me 9 thousand goosebumps. "Hey Blazer, what took you so long?" ;'-) ... story's more than good enough for a cinema movie, just saying!
