Their songs are the funniest to play. This one, Simple Design, Hopeless, Defeated, Breakdown and many others their songs are serious shit man, really well made
I always feel blessed to grow up where the members of BB are from. The bassist taught at the guitar shop I learned to play, my mom worked with Ben’s aunt, etc etc. always puts a smile on my face that some local boys made it big time
I will never forget when I was at a show for some other band and it was like early early 2000s or so maybe before and Breaking Benjamin was there because they played too, they opened, and then were handing out demo cds and I took one. This song was on it. I still have it. I now have all their other albums in one way or another. It's funny, back then, I was just getting out of Highschool and they were opening for my friend's band in eastern pa. Now, it would probably be the other way around. Very nostalgic. Very good times.
I love how every Breaking Benjamin song has its own unique sound, unlike a lot of other bands, these guys figure out how to play music differently but make it sound great at the same time. All the shit today sounds the same in my opinion, this is amazing tho!
I never knew of this band, until one day Pandora or Spotify played this song. As soon as I heard the intro and the scream by Ben I became instantly hooked. I then heard Diary of Jane and had to listen to more of their music. Been hooked since. Seeing them live July 21st. Loss of hearing will be and is anticipated
I love this band. I need to thank my dad for showing me this band. He showed me the true meaning of heavy metal and other bands. Three Days Grace, Skillet, Five Finger Death Punch, Disturbed, Linkin Park, and others.
That awkward moment when you're watching a music video for a song called Polyamorous and a pop up ad comes up for a dating site for- you guessed it!- polyamorous dating. And that's when your mom walks in.
I'm probably wrong but I remember reading how Breaking Benjamin is rarely on the radio or almost never, but it put the biggest smile on my face when I realized this on the radio on my way to a friends house. That made my day, and made me wish there was more BB after it :(
A friend recommended seeing BB when they were supporting Fuel. This album just came out so nobody knew who they were. It was one of the best concerts I've ever been to and I've been to at least 200 shows. The place held maybe 1500 people. It blew my mind. I've seen then 7-8 times and can't wait for the next time. Keep rockin Breaking Benjamin and Benjamin Burnley!
I was 12 years old in 6th grade living in Maynila, Pilipinas. I first heard this song on Nintendo GameCube Video Game “WWE Day of Reckoning” then again on Sony PlayStation 2 Video Game “WWE SmackDown! Vs. Raw” then finally on Microsoft Xbox Video Game “WWE WrestleMania 21”. The Mid 2000s was definitely the Peak of Video Games and Wrestling in General
honestly their worst album is probably we are not alone because that is one of the ONLY breakign benjamin album that has 1 or 2 bad songs. its insane how they literally dont ever have bad songs though i love all of their music
Lyrics: [Intro] Let's go! [Verse 1] The day has come to an end The sun is over my head My polyamorous friend Got me in a mess of trouble again [Chorus 1] So Just when you think that you're all right I'm calling out from the inside I never hurt anyone I never listen at all [Verse 2] They've come to get me again The cloud is over my head My polyamorous friend Got me in a mess of trouble again [Chorus 2] So Just when you think that you're all right I'm calling out from the inside I never hurt anyone I never listen at all Just stay away from the white light I say your worst side's your best side I never hurt anyone I never listen at all [Bridge] (x4) Well, how do you know? [Chorus 3] Just when you think that you're all right I'm calling out from the inside I never hurt anyone I never listen at all Just stay away from the white light I say your worst side's your best side I never hurt anyone I never listen at all [Outro] Let's go!
Holy shit, I remember many years ago when this song used to be my favorite song ever. Now today I was checking out Breaking Benjamin's songs and clicked this, it sounded familiar and then shit I remembered
@@marshallmatez1762 They aren't the same thing. Polygamy is one person marrying multiple others. Polyamory is when several people are consensually dating eachother. There are a lot of different types of polyamorous relationships, but the most important thing is that all parties know and are okay with it.
People still talk about that game? It came out nearly 10 years ago. I got it when it came out for my 12th birthday, I was a WWE fangirl back then.... Great soundtrack that game had.
Incredible song. I was introduced to these guys while listening to SiriusXM Octane. After hearing Failure, I'm glad I decided to check out their other material. 😘😁✌👍
breaking benj... this guy mind state is honestly on a whole other level. this music is for people who truly listen to every bit every half second of what they are listening too...
Efrain Collante I found it wierd how they had two different versions of this song. and I thought the version from smackdown vs raw was the original!!,,😁
I played the first Smackdown vs Raw, and heard this soundtrack, years before I had played WWE Wrestlemania XIX, the revenge mode of which I loved and the game’s mechanics, I eventually decided to get day of reckoning, which had the same game mechanics I loved, and to my surprise, the same soundtrack! It was a mix of both my favorite things.
Run Like Hell (Xbox) (if it was not for this game i would never heard of Breaking Benjamin) WWE Smackdown vs Raw (2005) (PS2) WWE WrestleMania 21 (Xbox)
+Nick BMS I was maybe in 1st grade around the beginning of 2005 (so like January and February) when i first heard breaking benjaming. It was this song and Blow me away from Halo 2 those were the first 2 song i heard from them. But now in these days you got kids that listen to the most weirdest shit ever. In case you are wondering Im 19 years old.
The scene near the end when everything is going to hell and this song plays, took the slow scary atmosphere and blew it out the window and I proceeded to kill everything. Literal hype train, till the train crashed into that 20ft tall alien.
Andromeda Miller First of all, please don't read this like I'm trying to diss your way of thinking. I respect any logic of thinking. I feel the reason that polyamorous is shunned is because the common idea of a relationship is a one on one close bond that is incomparable to any other bond. But enter a third or so person and attention is split, and such a bond would not be as strong. But that's just my opinion.
feels weird? How old are you dude 12? lmao it makes perfect sense. Realistically the theme of this song is more relevant now in today's generation than ever.
Found out the guy I was with had a wife, and when he came over, I played this for him. He said he liked BB and I told him I'd play him a song that reminded me of him. xD
