This is beginning to be my favorite song off of Ember. The instrumental is really complex and unique, and the vocals are just incredible. I remember the band saying that Ember was more of a collaborative project with all the band members, rather than being primarily produced by Ben. Bravo guys, keep rocking on \m/
I interpret this song that he feels like a psycho but he is faithful, he is the warm embracing. He is doing everything to fight and embraces every good and bad moment. There is te other person that makes him "fake". He awakens his bad site even though he is actually a good soul. For me it is a love that he tries to fight for, but he struggles too much with his lover, so he changes, becomes mad and becomes strenghless (ember fading), but knows he has done everything so he embraces it. Maybe the lover is but himself. But I think it also worgs when he struggles with himself but also when he struggles with a lover.
Going to see y'all in August at Lakewood in Atl. Saw Y'all in Biloxi last year. Love it. All your music. My liked channel on Spotify is basically your channel. These songs speak to me. Everyone of them from The Saturate album to now. Thank you
❤. . " A stage in life of every person who were once angelic, who saw only goodness but now universe showing them the dark n confusing side of life (the duality of existence) " Most probably they were pushed to create boundaries depending on situations/times. . To free from ' fear' . . . N to avoid over giving or being doormat. . The reality of life's been shown bit by bit through the dark stages". . .. ❤ love u dark Souls. . . 🍀
I can't cite this at all but someone said in another comment that the 2 newer albums were produced by Ben personally and he made the sound quality a lot better but to do that it wasn't going to be maximum loudness or something like that.
O Lucifer, Son of the Morning. How art thou so fallen in your own pride and hubris? You who was once held in the highest of esteem by the Most High brought down by your own arrogance. Condemned by the eternal light, an ember fading! Art thou truly psycho, a warm yet cold embracing? Unredeemable by the all forgiving Father? I beseech thee to stray from this path of destruction and self-condemnation...
I love the fact that there's not musical video. everyone has a different interpretation of this, it would definitely ruin it to discover the "true" meaning of this song.
@@randomitalianinthecomments having a music video would make it the “true meaning” of the song tho. I don’t think Red Cold River or any other song by any other artist for that matter is ruined just for having a music video. By the contrary, it just adds more value to the piece, merges it with other forms of art, like cinematography, storytelling and so on. You’re also not obligated to see it if they release it lol
@@BlazyBob1 you surely have a point. when I said "it would ruin it" I didn't mean the song, but the interpretation I have of it. I bet you know that feeling of disappoinment when you think a song is about something and then you discover that it's about something else at all. I guess we just have different opinions.
@@randomitalianinthecomments I understand what you mean, but I think when an artist puts a piece out to the world it no longer has the meaning they originally intended, it is open for the interpretation of anyone that consumes it, so there is no “true meaning”. If there’s a music video that’s simply an interpretation of the director, cinematographer and so on
This song makes NOOOO sense. If y’all told me it was from B.B. I’d have called you a liar. I am beyond shocked they even wasted their time and talent singing such BS! Just wow!! What are they even thinking!?
