We got quite a reaction when we broke BroncBuster jumping in the dunes. While we don't suggest jumping your heavy rock crawler on 40" tires in general, we weren't too mad! We push our vehicles all the time, and we were back on the trail in no time having fun at the event.

How was it determined that the shock failed, taking out the spindle, and not the other way around?

So the shock end fails on this but not when a trophy truck that weighs 8,000 lbs and is doing 130mph over whoops? Sounds like they are just looking to blame something else. I talked to Glen at Radflow…he said that if you look at the failure and how it blew the side of the eye out, that tells him that the knuckle folded, tire leaned into the shock, and broke the shock. Either way, the finger pointing here is interesting

@@RodneyStonewallit sure does appear that the shock was knocked out exactly like you said… You’d think the guy that made such a definitive statement would quickly provide the details on how this was determined. Seems he’s only interested in replying to his fanboys though. It’s a common theme with him, I’ve noticed.

No no. CLEARLY the shock failed and the flimsy spindle is totally fine holding excessive amounts of leveraged weight off of it. 74Weld is just overkill with their huge billet design. 😂

can you explain what the air bags are for between the body and frame? are those stock?

Everybody is being mean on instagram...but the only part thats his product is the portal and...that's not what broke. All this means is it's time to make an upgraded knuckle and sell that too ^_^

But at what point do you just look to the other guys who have a proven track record with hundreds of vehicles on the road and just buy theirs? I know Tyler is constantly bashing 74Weld, but their stuff looks amazing and doesn’t lead to knuckle failures. If he makes a knuckle, the portal would end up being like 10K more expensive than 74Weld. To me it doesn’t make sense. I still haven’t pulled the trigger on portals and after watching the videos of 74Weld with their new Ranger Raptor product I’m considering selling the bronco and buying a Ranger. Either way, the factory knuckle is clearly a failure point.

@@RodneyStonewall”we don’t see the other guys out here!” The “other guys” have tested and proven their portals on trophy trucks, KOH, etc. I think it’s safe to say their stuff is more legitimately proven compared to the “R&D” accomplished with a 2.3L four banger. Let’s not forget that with 74Weld you’re also getting 300M axleshafts, full float conversion, new brakes, and the billet knuckles. All on one-ton bearing packs.

@@Sierra_Bronco I'm not trying to compare them to 74weld at all. Their little competition as companies aside. HIs actual product isn't what broke. And he can improve it and include other better more parts to go with it.. but he's gotta start somewhere ^_^

Not a big deal😂😂😂. No one can ever say that you do not push your stuff to the absolute limit. I have watched you roll that multiple times and blow the front end out of it. I think you lost the fuel pump ones too. You’re gonna know how to work on that rig better than the people who engineered it😂😂😂
