The way they stretched the walk in the desert is just a conscious way of showing how endless the desert is, and how much pain it takes to survive in the conditions while there is no water, dehydration, and all those natural hurdles they have to go through. It's essential for a film like this to stretch and do repetition in order to make you feel the disappointment the character in real must've felt while he goes in search of the sight of road or even a pond of water. I never felt bored in a single moment, I was excited to see what next, and by the time the movie finished, I was not even aware of the fact that 3 hours went by just like that...
Blessy himself said that there was no such disturbing scene as shot by him., But it was there in the novel, it was blindly the imagination of the novelist.
I was dissapointed with Benyamen he told first they shoot the scene and censor cut it.Then blessy confirmed to leading malayalam channel There was no such scene shot..It bringed down the honesty and effort they have given to the film .As my friend here said i felt its a PR gimick
@@FilmCompanionStudiosaadujeevitham is a fantastic movie that depicts the real life story and cinematography is a masterpiece.... But when it comes to the crew ofcourse a women centric movie has got a good opening but the so called sexiness and glamorous show becomes a bad example when it comes to heroines centric movies that has brought the crowd...The so called story plot and the screenplay is weak ....
@@lukesebastin2237 he's is living peacefully in kerala. But after the movie the interviewers kept bringing up the goat scene and it became a nuisance to his daily life too.
@@shadowchildme no but the author of the novel told he added that part to convey how najeeb is slowly becoming a goat himself, after spending all his time with the herd. Now comes the part where we apply common sense. Try again, you might get it too..
Loved this interaction.!! Was hoping for you guys throughts on Bramayugam and Manjumel Boys which were good stories in the horror and survivor genre which also did well in box office.❤❤
Prithvi does an excellent job as the insufferable Najeeb. His transition from an innocent village man to a hapless shepherd is tough to watch. The Arab owners are ruthless in their approach and effective as they prevent Najeeb from leading a life with dignity. There were plenty of crowd-pleasing moments throughout the movie. Gokul did a fantastic job portraying the young and impressionable Hakeem. The film is carried by Jimmy Jean-Louis, who appears in the second half and aids our protagonists in finding the path to freedom. The one scenario that didn't sit well with me was, Prithvi's excessive romantic angle with Amala. especially the song shot in the pond. It's a must watch for every Indian, every expatriate, and every individual who continues to feel a part of what Najeeb felt as a helpless, yet hopeful human being despite all odds.
So happy for Nora, after so long finally she got a lead!! Such a beautiful journey she had! I remeber her last interview with Anupama in 2019 and now finally she is there❤
Anumpama chopra on phone to anmol . Hi jammy can we do podcast on recently released films . Please come . Anmol : ya ok i will come it will be nice to discuss recent movies . It will be good . Anupama : yes we will discuss but one condition no discussion on savarkar film is it ok then only came Anmol : but why .........ok ok i will come 😂😅
So happy to see this... I was actually seeing so many times if there was an episode since last year when there were releases and almost wondered if actually things were cold between thr both of you... But.. Really glad and rr really looking forward an episode very soon.!!!!!!!!!!
13:19 no censor cuts were made in that film As the writer quotes the book is 30% real life 70 % percent is his imagination. The real Hakkim survived with najeeb.
Film Companion mainly focuses on mainstream cinema and often overlooks indie films unless they're briefly mentioned as average or blamed for not winning audience approval. They've started covering regional cinema only after recognizing its profitability, similar to Bollywood's recent embrace of South Indian projects. This trend reflects a broader industry issue where only well-known names get spotlighted, sidelining independent talent and reinforcing a cycle that favors established players over new voices. This approach has stifled diverse talent and innovation in Indian cinema.
@@sarathsnair7681 I am not talking about adding more songs. Imagine Oppenhiemer without its background score or titanic without its music or Manichitrathalam without its background score
You guys have such great knowledge of movies and also discuss from behalf of many people.. Watching u guys talking about movies gives so much satisfaction and excitement.... CAN YOU GUYS PLEASE PLEASE MAKE THIS CONVERSATION EVERY WEEK CONSISTENTLY FOR HEAVEN SAKE PLEASE! THIS SEGMENT IS SO MUCH BETTER! WHO EVER READING THIS PLEASE TAKE A NOTE OF IT!!!
So I watched crew yesterday and I have to say this conversation did not impress me after watching the movie. Let me begin with saying by no means the movie is perfect but to say the movie spent too much time on their personal stuff and in the same breath saying they didn’t use Kapil and Diljit enough is comical. Secondly, I understand Tabu’s brother’s character inclusion felt off beat but the purpose in the script was to plant his wife’s character in Al Burj. So it was done with intent. While the story is loose, and the heist is too contrived, I didn’t feel things that were pointed out in this conversation made much sense.
Today is very special day because i attend Men Of Culture Rumbling Delhi Event & evening Anmol bhai back with Anupama ma'am in Film Companion weekly breakdown ☺️😊🤞⭐🌟✨
When bollywood turns into remakewood and propogandawood, atleast the southern industries are upholding the true purpose of cinema, absolute respect to them
They were talking about Prithviraj 's dedication and all, and forgot to even mention how randeep transformed himself in the role, fyi Anmol liked the movie and loved his performance, still didn't talk about it.
@@tusharrana5256 doesn't matter that's an out and out propaganda movie most of the country has seen it for what it is and doesn't care about it so even they don't care to talk about it go cry somewhere else

@@Nishanth_mementomori Woke means seeing sexism, misogyny, regressive, problematic, toxicity in everything and not seeing misandry and not seeing or calling out pseduo feminism the way she be called out. Imagine if luv ka the end movie was reviewed by Jammy. This elite critic jammy will say "this movie is so funny, it's a must watch movie for all women who've been cheated cuz you'll feel satisfied, you'll enjoy it, men will be scared to cheat after watching this movie". Suppose if that movie was about men taking revenge on women in the same way. You know what Jammy will then say? He'll say "men are loving this misogynistic movie, men who loved this movie are acting like cheating is something only women can do, men are putting tweets defending this movie as if men have never cheated women in the history of mankind". When women say things defending a movie like luv ka the end, the he've no problem with it, infact the wokes themselves will praise the movie.
14:36 Are you trying to say arab chararacters were exaggerated? Or I am misunderstanding 🤔 . There is a living victim of the oppression and you think the scenes were exaggerated?
When it comes to heroine centric films in Bollywood they are focusing on glamour quotient rather than story and film making ... In the case of crew is also the same fragile story and illogical scenes with comedy that is not working....
There are soo many in my friend circle who found Dune2 boring, just because you liked something doesn't mean everyone should love and rave about it. I don't know when people will learn this basic lesson of life.
Don't try to be smart pants. There are so many people who slept in theater watching Dune and came out and said it is an awesome movie. At least she gave an honest opinion.
Money is the motive and dominant factor of human all over the world, we lost ethics and we will do anything and everything for earning money. Author of the story added imaginary unethical incidents for getting better sale of his book whil he disclosed the truth that the story is based on a true life incident. While the movie director denied the picturisation of antinatural scenes, author says that the censor board didn’t approve such core scenes of his story(this is vital according to him)in the movie(it means they already shot such scenes!). It is contradictory that the author narrated the mindset of a person who was living in extreme agony of missing togetherness with wife and thinking of to born baby is thinking of fulfilling his natural instinct by doing it in anti natural ways. Wow! What a vulgar mindset the author has got! The sufferer of this true story must be still suffering from his memories as well as exaggerated and manipulated writings of the author who earned money and reputation. Let money be the winner everywhere, weapon manufacturers creating wars to sell their weapons, greedy pharmaceutical companies creating false propaganda and even spreading viruses/bacteria to hike their sale, politicians spreading fake propaganda to retain power… wow what a “nice world we are living in! Hype can be created and marketed easily in this technology era, no one is bothered about ethics, humanity or genuineness…
