Thank you for the information. I've had eczema since I was a kid (I'm 60 now) and the only thing that I really knew about it medically is that is is a loose term that is basically a rash caused by a number of things and that your body reacts with a hyped up immune reaction and that using lotions can help sooth the itching and dryness. I've always suspected that stress triggers it. Plus I just have very sensitive skin, reacting to chemicals in soaps, shampoos, cleaning products, etc. Anyway, thank you!!! :)

My son has a very bad eczema for years..The only medicine that works for him is called "Dupixent injection". This is an expensive medication and many health insurances would not cover for it, with a prescription you have to place a special order to only certain pharmacy because it's a rare medication. After 3 injections treatment (2wks), his eczema heals 80%,no more itch and he sleeps well. Now, he is still getting 1 injection every 2wks, and he has been on this treatment for about 2y, hopefully he can recovering any time soon

I have eczema, though it’s usually controlled. I’ve had an outbreak on my hands as some of the patients seen on your show, and the only thing that healed my hands was a rose oil/essential oil combination. Raising vitamin D levels is also a huge help.

💭 I’m curious to what your thoughts are on “*Prednisone pills, Triamcinolone Cream, and Nirasona Ointment*” for Bad cases of eczema? Obviously we shouldn’t use steroids for long periods of time to treat.

I have seen three different Dermatologists for my severe eczema. I have extremely red, itchy, patches all over my body. Some ooze. Can't figure out what triggers it. I have been given 14 lotion / cream prescriptions nothing works. Only thing that helped me was prednisone but was told I can not be on it for life. As soon as I went off, the eczema flared up again. Sigh!

I'm almost 14, I have had ezcema, (i think), from when i was 11, i think, because every doctor i've gone to, said "you have eczema", but i sometimes don't believe what doctors say because i once use a moisturizer that the doctor gave me. It made my skin worse. So i'm not sure if i have it or not because i've seen people with eczema and their skin are really dry but mine is like not dry, it just that i didn't use lotion from when i was young till 10 or 11 and my skin started to get patchy, like my skin will be peeling but when i started putting on lotion, it started coming out soft, hydrated however i have these black/dark spots, and i don't how to get rid of them. Of course i have rashes sometimes. i'm just a girl with dry skin and black/dark spot and sometimes rashes. I wish i could meet Dr. Lee but i live in another country. (Sorry, if my explanation wasn't clear, i am really bad at my grammar structures)

Yes, we moved into a house when I was a kid that someone had been cooking meth in & 💥BOOM me and my little sister got eczema.
