They could have taken GG Jackson with the extra pick. No reason to not gamble on him. They needed a SF for year's now.. They passed on him and TJD, who they knew about too. They have no idea how to pick player's. Most often it seems as if they only like to look at guards too.

Timberwolves won the draft. Miami, Celtics and NOP. All those team's added great usable pieces they needed to fill. OKC in trading for Caruso NYK are my other favorite trade successful team. DEN and especially the Warriors have done well with their 2nd rd picks. Warriors never fail to take advantage of adding the best possible piece. That can come in and offer a lot at a particular position of need. Post is an NBA ready C who can stretch the floor. Good for them.. Grizzlies I think people will look back and think they picked well.. I think they're looking at them selecting Edey wrong. I don't believe they're done, or that he will be their starting C long term necessarily. They add a Hartenstein type, then ppl will think they done great. Jaylen Wells they also selected. Who I liked much better than Furphy's lame azz. Wells can create his own shot a bit from anywhere. Shoots the 3 ball pretty well, has some handle. Isn't NBA ready, as for his body. He's young, but has more promise there thab Furphy. He's 6'8, doesn't have a big wingspan. But he moves very well. Pacers needed Defense and NBA ready now player's more than anything. If they want to sign a 43+ mil role player.. smdh.. They will probably add no one else and only lose player's.

Melton is solid, but he's suffered from a back injury. Naji Marshall, Jones Jr. would be by far the best. Offensively and D.. Caleb Martin, or Oubre.. Not Gordon Hayward, he's complete trash.. They need Andre Drummond, or maybe even Jonas since they're losing Smith and don't have a single big. I'd loved to have had Caruso.. But they obviously never tried to acquire him this off-season.. or we could have had him... just one more of the many ways we lose in the off-season.

Their picks suck, they talk like he's moving off the ball like Steph Curry. Dude barely moves at all, especially on D. Let Klintman pass, I'd rather had Jaylen Wells as a development piece. Two guy's I'd liked who were already solid defensively other than Klintman. Are Keshad Johnson and Jamal Shead. Miami picked up Ware, who I think could have gone anywhere in this draft.. and Keshad Johnson. Dude completely fixed his jumpshot. 54% catch n shoot 3's, 70+% in transition, tied for max vert, 3rd fastest in the combine, SF 6'6, 224 pounds, 6'9 wingspan. Big and quick hands. Guards/forwards can't get past him and if they try ro shoot in his face. He can jump up and tip the shot out the air.. 32% on spot ups, can hit open step into 3's.. doesn't handle the ball really, but doesn't need to.. Jamal Shead was 6'1 strong guard, 6'3 wingspan, 8ft standing reach. Multiple defensive accolades. Very vocal leader on the floor. Has great court vision, not the best 3pt shooter. But does hit open 3's. Reminds you of a much stronger and defensive orientated TJ McConnell in some ways.. I'll never understand their picks... Most of all their picks are trash. They never pick up a true SF type.. They are obviously planning to lose Obi and when they do. I'll no longer be a fan. Pascal blows.. and they could have signed an Elite SF type and kept the #1 Offense flowing. While adding the defense we really needed. Signed Isaiah Heartinstein and OG, or KCP.. then still had enough money to added a guy like Naji Marshall. They fkd this team up badly.. and it will eventually be proveb in the next couple year's.

All their C's are undersized now and only 200 pds.. Smith was by far the best option. They're losers.

😂 on paper?? Lol The Knicks are far better than the Pacers. Had they had 3/4 of their team. They'd slaughtered us. Pacers couldn't even go get Caruso. All they do is talk, they aren't getting anybody. I'm about done with the Pacers. Gonna start watching Knicks, Celtics, Miami, Timberwolves and OKC this year. Looking for a new team to represent. Who actually makes smart moves. They blow at picks, FA and trades. Their only hope is that Mathurin becomes Prime D-Wade, or Prime Oladipo. He could breakout this year.. If he doesn't, they go nowhere.. Because they signed a role player who's a career 48%fg, 32% 3pt, 65 to 70%ft.. doesn't rebound and can't stop anyone with one of the worst Defensive Ratings in the league.. doesn't matter if he can read the D, if he's not stopping anyone. Doesn't block, or steal.. he's terrible. Never draws a double. Teams let him shoot.. You sign a guy for 43+ mil that can't even draw a single double team?? 😂 spins and falls to the floor missing because the defense followed him towards the rim.. clanks wide open 3's.. smdh.
