No, she was having an affair with Jamie Foxx. Do the research. Well, he doesn't care about her daughter as well. Hopefully, people now don't blame Tom Cruise not caring for her financially after she turns 18, as she and her mother never cared for him.
God Tom is a creep. The superiority complex is scary. I watched the interview with the Australian journalist and Tom was a complete bully, and yet at the same time acted like a baby and drama queen. I’m sooooo disappointed when I learn an actor is a Scientologist. Thanks for what you do Aaron.
He seems a little "Hitler-like" in some of his narcissistic ways, & his over-certainty that he knows what he is talking about. He is frighteningly aggressive in his ways of reacting (like spinning head & puking pea soup scary). But, somehow Hitler was able to communicate sense out of nonsense. Cruise doesn't even attempt to do that! I BELIEVE because that takes a depth of thought that, if he ever even had, has been washed from his cognition.
I’ve never seen his movies. My son came home and said he went to see tom snooze in Top Gun, whenever it came out. Saw him jumping on the sofa like a teenager and on video shown by Leah Remini. He looked like a pompous ass on stage with that medal he was wearing beside Miscavige. I don’t watch anything he’s in… he’s so overrated. 😏
Not really ! You can't mix the apples with the oranges .thom cruise would be nothing without his scientology circle .all of you ex scientologist are still under lrons magic it's a hoax you spent your life into money aside it's a hoax just stop !he learned from the best/ aleister crowley and his peeps it's 2021 not late 1800 -1900 it's majik and religion.we call it a cult now
Here I am again marveling at Tom Cruise's slide into insanity, it's ironic that he doesn't believe in psychology when I've never seen anyone who needed a good therapist more.
Between this whackadoodle video, and the jumping on Oprah's couch video, and his attack on Brooke Shields because she sought treatment for her post-partum depression, I stopped going to his movies. I didn't want to give money to someone who was going to turn over tons of cash to what I perceive as an abusive organization.
@@happydayz7857 he founded that studio 27 years ago! Not because a few people don't go to his movies. His movies still make a ton of cash. Scientology has a studio, equipment, manpower etc. They film propaganda movies all the time. Many celebs start their own studio to have more control over the types of movies that are made since United Artist went under. Cruise probably just wants a power trip.
true a monumental narcissist mixed with pathological stubbornness mixed with no higher education and average intelligence! all of this made worse ON PURPOSE by scientology! the epitome of someone who became too successful, too famous, too wealthy, too easily and too fast....
So if Tom Cruise, as a Scientologist, is the only one that can help a person in a car accident then why doesn't he give up his job making millions of dollars to play dress-up and become a first responder? Wouldn't that have more of an impact on society than making movies?
I used to say how awful Tom was for abandoning his daughter but think about it would you want someone like that by your kid?? Katie broke free with her daughter. I would pay him to stay away.
She married him for the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ so, she got what she asked for. He has never tried to hide the fact that he is uber devoted to Scientology, he is their poster child.
Holy sh*t. Christian Bale used Tom Cruise as one of his personality references for his performance as Patrick Bateman in American Psycho. Watching Tom's interview makes you see the character is spot on 😂😂what a crackpot
I am a therapist and a "locational assist" is just a grounding technique used by therapists lol with how much LRH hated psychology he sure uses a lot of basic therapeutic techniques lol. At some point I would love to put together a list or video telling the things he pulled from psychology lol
As my comment on the main thread says, he is a classic example of a megalomaniac. This dude is beyond redemption and should be considered a danger to the public well being.
@@Numb217 or inarticulateness in Tom's case. You'd think he'd be able to better summarize the one thing besides acting he's devoted his life to, but apparently not...
He’s a massive narcissist and I’m sure Scientology saw that and knew he could be easily manipulated if they stroked his ego non stop. He thinks he’s amazing and miscavaige is just laughing at him all the way to the bank
I had a friend 5 yrs ago tell me that Scientology was going to help him go to school & give him a place to live. I asked him if he was sure, asked him about whether he's heard what Leah Remini has said about Scientology. He said he didn't believe all that, they were going to help him & that was all he cared about. He was definitely going through a mental health crisis at that point in his life. We trying to find his mother so he can get help. But, I never heard from him again. He joined Scientology & vanished. Watching RU-vid videos helps me deal with losing my friend. Thank you. ❤
Imagine Tom stopping at a car accident and trying to tell someone that’s bleeding and injured to stare at a tree or flower to help their wound. Most humans will stop Tom and help but we know that looking at something isn’t gonna stop their pain. We’re gonna try to help stop the bleeding and help keep their neck stable in case they have a spinal Injury. The way he acted about mental illness isn’t real I couldn’t imagine someone like him trying to help anyone in need.
He has helped someone in a hit and run. He phoned an ambulance and paid her medical bills. I think in this video he is trying to say it is everyone's responsibility to stop and help, (and Scientologists specifically should do this?). Probably in reference to by-stander effect type situation. Not that he thought he was the only person who could help. However he tends to ramble in most of his interviews and it becomes confusing as to what he is trying to say. He's openly stated that he doesn't disagree with drugs, just psychiatric drugs. Considering doctors tried to medicate him for dyslexia as a child I can see how he became disillusioned. Plus he never denied the existence of mental illness. He said the opposite repeatedly. He just claimed the current theory (chemical imbalance) regarding the cause for mental was not accurate. I certainly don't agree with his views on psychiatry and don't think it is his place to speak publicly as he is an actor not a medical professional, but people take things wildly out of context when it comes to celebs.
@@plop1428 Th fact that scientoligy hates psychiatry doenst make psachiatry a good thing, in fact this obviously opposing stand against this totalitarian pseudo science (not all but a lot of it is) is IMO something that is used to draw in people to scientology
A bad actor doing a bad impression of a bad actor. He's overacting and attempting to be deep and philosophical. Basically he's the one uncle at every family reunion who thinks they know everything.
@Jeff Andrews the only "interviews" he has done in over 10 years are the ass kissing sickening so "inteviews" on late night talk shows (fallon, kimmel, norton, etc.)...he won't do REAL interviews because he bans anyone from asking him about it, he's a coward!....
@Roland Fan that's quite judgemental for someone who wasn't there to experience what they did. All I've seen is ex-scientologists do there best to heal and help others heal. To me that's a great thing.
Tom's babbling about superpowers reminds so much of an anecdote told about Aleister Crowley, the famous occultist. One day a writer sitting in a Paris cafe noticed a strange man in the corner dressed in weird pseudo-Middle Eastern garb with a big jeweled turban on his head. He asked a waiter who that odd man was, and the waiter answered, "Oh, that's just Mr. Crowley being invisible."
Oh my GOD it's good to have that f***ing black turtle neck video analysed by you!!! Years I've waited for someone to take the piss out of this properly 😂 Excellent work 🏆 I know there is a very serious underbelly to this Tom Cruise situation (what he is allowing to happen around him / his treatment of people etc.), but I think people seeing him as a hilarious rambling idiot is the fastest way to end the mindless film star hero-worshipping that helps no-one ever, and to help end Scientology forever, because it's non-confrontational. The money's always in the funny. Aaron you're a legend 👌
@D C oooooooohhhhhhh burn!!!! Also, it's "your post" not "you're post". "You're" is a contraction of "you are", meanwhile "your" is a possessive pronoun signifying ownership or belonging. Also, using "you're post" instead of "your post" in this instance shows that "you're" the one just making noise (or in this case writing indiscriminate nonsense with bad grammar)
The man literally said the same thing 30 different ways. It was like when I would practice the best way to say something the night before a big day in high school lol
Weird how we haven’t heard about Tom Cruise helping anyone with anything…ever, much less saving everyone in distress that he comes across. Maybe because he never actually leaves his padded bubble of pampering to know what even happens in the real world. Miscavaige makes sure of that.
Your reaction to this video is hysterical. I remember seeing this and was a little confused. Now, thanks to you, I have much more clarity. Amazing and sad to realize we have watched Tom’s decline into brainwashing. I have not been able to stomach watching any of his movies for years because I could not separate him from Scientology, and the more I learn the more that is solidified.
What gets me is that Elizebeth Moss is a Scientologist. That she plays the lead role in a television series about a cult like dystopia (Handmaid's Tale) make me wonder if she sees the craziness of her own cult.
I could never watch The Handmaids Tale tv series (read the books) for the simple reason that Elizabeth Moss looks too much like Irma Grese (the beast of Belsen) to me. The fact that she is also a Scientologist is…..interesting. Do Scientologist believe in reincarnation? Genuine question.
I don't watch Handmaid's Tale, but I have respect for Ms Moss as an actress. Going from West Wing to Mad Men to HT, she has been involved in some great series. Is that because of her talent, is it from Scientology, or is it just luck.
@@grfxlot09 Let's not forget her stunning performance in Girl Interrupted... but anyway... I do wonder if Scientology Celebs are given roles because the are associated with being Scientologists.
Peter - “Do you feel discriminated against, ya know the public perception that you’re all a bunch of lunatics out there?” Tom - “Peter, no one has ever said that to me!” 😂 Tom is surround by “yes people” wholly insulted from reality. Zero self recognition.
L. Ron Hubbard wrote science fiction in his early years. He got so wrapped up in his thoughts and visions of his books that he actually believed that they were reality. Scientology is not just a cult, it's fiction of the most dangerous kind. I was very young when he founded Scientology and gravitated to it when I became a teenager. I saw the fiction-ness back then but I can see where people would be drawn in by it's "spirituality". Kudos to those who finally woke up and got out.
one wonders whose idea was it to make this insanity? who told him tom you are so great and so so intelligent and such a great scientologist, just talk to the camera? imagine what was edited out? or the camera still running before and after this video!>..
Back home in Ireland, i was working at a Halloween shop and a yellow van pulls up outside with the Scientology Logo on it. A small group of people come in, say about 4 of them, the woman comes to me (Im security) and says "We are here to buy up as much Halloween supplies as we can for our up coming party" So I ask her where the party will be and she says a place i know only too well. So She volunteers "Yes, its going to be amazing, theres going to be three thousand of us going" THREE THOUSAND Scientology people going to this party!! I supressed a laugh, i just caught myself. She was so deadpan serious that she actually believed that 3 thousand people would be going to this big party. "Sure Luv, sure" As i said, i know the place they are having this supposed party, its a community centre/ sports hall and has no where near the capability to hold a party of more then 200 let alone three thousand. Delusional or what. Anyway, i find out later that there where only the people involved in Scientology at this party, i think it was about 13 people. I think they spent like 3 gs for this party. A great day for the shop, not so much for Scientology hahaha Delusional idiots
I boycotted Tom Cruise and Scientology when I saw him on a talk show railing against Brooke Sheilds for taking antidepressants and jumping around the stage on a couch like a lunatic. As a long term sufferer of bone crushing major depression, I felt totally attacked and negated. I never watched another Tom Cruise movie after Tom Gun and never will.
Katie Holm escaped from Tom Cruise when they were in Iceland. A well planned out escape and her father helped her. Katie didn’t want that craziness around her daughter or/and herself. He’s on the top of the list of creepiest.
Unrelated but I heard on the radio years ago that Tom Cruise gave Katie Holmes a library containing a copy of every movie he ever made. He's messed up.
@@DiegoRooks the brainwasher plays the long game. Tiny step by tiny step over years so the victim cant see it. If you think you're immune then you're a prime target
I saw a show where they broke down Tom’s wacky behavior on the set of War Of The Worlds. Apparently he really pressured Steven Spielberg to join. I heard that Paul Haggis made a joke about Scientology keeping the crazy people in a closet. That supposedly created a lot of trouble for Paul and caused him to leave. Anyway it was told that Kate Capshaw took offense to Tom’s badgering and that caused him to try and undermine Kate and Steve’s marriage, even going so far as to bring women in to seduce Steve. In end Steven said he would never work with Tom again. Tom sent expensive gifts to them for Christmas and they were returned unopened.
So right about each of those laughs - forced, fake! He sounds 100 times more real when he is acting a movie-laugh, laughing as a pretend character. This laughing was just painful to watch, SO fake. (Nice teeth though).
Honestly if Scientology wants to introduce more people to a “religion” that offers a world free of insanity, best not to send out Tom Cruise as the poster boy. The guy is a nut. He’s so creepy I haven’t been able to watch a Cruise movie since he jumped on Oprah’s couch.
He doesn't realise that if he rejected Scientology and spoke out against it he would literally be a total hero of the whole world....He would have such ginormous respect from the vast majority of the earth's population.
@@TimucinLeflef I have heard that Miscavage and minions read the auditing stuff from these celebrities to snicker. I am sure that is a reason why Travolta would not leave and maybe Tom would also be thrust out of the closet.
I feel like an organization as notorious as Scientology would have acquired some dirt on him to keep him in line. Although I feel aside from killing someone or pedephelia whatever the dirt would be would be forgiven.
Aaron your reactions to what Tom says is priceless. As someone with no experience in Scientology I think he is completely over the top. But with your in-depth experience and then reacting to this is awesome. It’s hilarious that they play the Mission Impossible in the background 🙄 I agree that Tom just talks in circles and provides no real information.
I still can't decide if I should laugh or cry when it comes to this man. I do know this 'interview' truly makes my skin crawl. Tom Cruise is pitiful for sure.
I am pretty sure it is the ravings, multiple of the soundtracks are fine on their own, granted the composers of them actually know you need to add some variation even if you keep bringing the same theme back around many times.
@@Lisa44837 That does not sound like it is actually an official track from the soundtrack, it likely is an in house performance by their internal media productions, so from the start would be off the hook for the most expensive fees. Plus with it sounding so bland is it probably is their own arrangement to fit the time, so may not even need to pay the much lower costs for using an existing score, if one even exists. I am not familiar with music licensing below that level, so there might be something for derived works but even then that is probably a low enough amount that it would not be worth it to anyone to spend the legal fees to collect on it if they did not pay the rights owners of the score. Plus with it being an internal video to a relatively small audience pre social media, it probably would not have been noticed by the rights holders till several years later, quite plausibly beyond any statute of limitations.
I think Tom carries a load of BS and he of course see the benefits of Scientology every day. They give him everything he wants so David can go out and play with Tom and his famous friends.
Well Tom.....if that's your real name, let's make believe its really you. How do you feel about that interview? Aren't you in the slightest bit embarrassed?
When Risky Business came out I was understanding of Tom's popularity though he was never somebody I wanted to meet. Ten years later I was just unequivocally creeped out by Tom, well before this interview. He believes what he is saying, whether or not it makes sense. It's a "hero complex", duh. Tom, sweetheart, heroes are anonymous.
The car crash stopping part, I have a explanation. When I fell down the scientology rabbithole, I took one of their free online courses and it was about health and healing. What I found in this course was a suggestion so insane that if a scientologist actually tried this in real life, they could go to jail. It was talking about different types of assists. The text said that if a scientologist drives past a car crash, they should pull over to help. It said if there is a crowd, to push yourself to the injured party, even if that means getting first responders and cops to step aside. It says to act like you are in charge, and the people on scene will see you as in charge and will "part" to let you through. It then goes through the technical aspects of the touch assist you should do and it says to not bother EXPLAINING OR ASKING CONSENT from the victim, that this is basically a waste of precious time, to just start administering the assist. To be fair it does say if the person is bleeding out, that you should allow the first responders to handle that first. BUT..... They are literally telling people to behave like they are in charge, even to authorities, to make your way to the victim, and to start touching them without their consent. In reality if you tried this, your going to jail. I found this gem years ago and still have the protocol screenshots on my phone😂
Soooo. If you drive up on a car accident, you’re supposed to pull over and help that stranger. But, if you see a former SO Member homeless, missing both arms, covered in fleas, starving and begging for food in front of your very church, you’re supposed to hose him down, until he leaves. Awesome cult, bro!

If his commitment to Scientology is greater than his commitment to his child, then I have to question his decision making ability. He didn’t seem to be able to say anything concrete. I think he delivers better with a script in front of him.
This man has been so emotionally damaged as a kid, he has this overwhelming NEED to be a hero, to be worth something, and Scientology snatched him up and brainwashed him into believing the only way to achieve this is through Scientology. His narcissistic need has twisted him into literally abandoning his daughter after his 3rd divorce. He focuses on Scientology to fill the void, even if it doesn’t make sense because it’s the only thing he has in life. His movie roles are dwindling because no one wants to work with such a mess. Exactly who is coming to him or Scientology for help? What what exactly do you have to know or learn? He’s really off his rocker - he’s desperate. He’s desperate to mean something through this institution. He doesn’t have his own identity. For someone who has been so successful to be such a puppet...it’s truly sad and pathetic.
Here in the UK there are lots of reports of celebs keeping their distance from him because he tends to evangelise and it all gets awkward. If you saw him put his hand out to help Catherine up the steps, you will see she dropped his hand as soon as possible and moved her purse into that hand so he wouldn’t do it again.

My sister was insane and everyone loved her she had that thing about her. She passed at only 40 from OD trying to self medicate. The most sensible thing she ever said to me was "Sis, all the great actors / actresses are insane." "Other wise they couldnt do what they do and become other people over and over again" I'll never forget that because it really made sense to me.
I don't know if I would go that far, but it is true that most of the best actors/actresses had rough childhoods/have issues, and they kind of self-medicate themselves by pouring those experiences into their roles. Most people have unresolved issues, and if they have a creative talent like acting ability, artistic/musical ability, they channel their emotions into their work. If everybody with issues was actually getting help, the parking lots at mental health facilities/psychologists nationwide would be packed.
