I wish I could tuck my shirt! I have rolls and when I tuck it looks weird and I feel so uncomfortable so instead I opt for a more “fitted” shirt or I put on a hoodie :)

Dear Sierra, I wanna start off by saying thank you. I'm a young tween who's always been bigger than most of the kids my age. Most of the RU-vidrs that I would watch had perfect bodies in my eyes. Sometimes I would only eat a meal a day and then I got really hungry so I would eat more than usual the next day. And since I've watched your channel I've noticed that I need to care but I really need to do what makes me happy emotionally. If I'm not perfect so be it. You make me and so many more people WAY more confident not only with our bodies but our style choices of different clothing pieces that we might not usually wear maybe not in our comfort zones, not my comfort zones at least. I was so low and self-confidence to the point where I wouldn't even wear a swimsuit to a swimming pool. Let alone wear a bikini. And I still struggle with that today. When I was in elementary school I wouldn't even wear shorts because I thought my legs were too "big" now I wear shorts to school because who cares what people think. My parents even tried to put me in a summer conditioning class (a workout class). My family always gives me the hints that I need to "lose weight". I know you will never see this but thank you soooooo much!

Jorja_Peach i can relate so much. i’m almost 14 years old and i’m going into the 8th grade. out of my friends i’m the biggest and i always have been. i have started to be more confident recently about the things i wear but it hasn’t always been easy. i dread the summertime because going to the pool means wearing a bathing suit. i feel really insecure. i hope you gain even more confidence and thanks for being someone i can relate to :))))

Same. Everyone says that I'm not big at all but my legs are quite fat and I have a lot of lower belly fat that I usually hide with oversized hoodies or high waisted jeans and maybe jackets. I like leggings a lot but when I wear crop tops with them I do feel insecure and hide my stomach.

I'm a very skinny person though and that somehow gives people the right to judge what I eat too or so they think. People say that all the time but I heard more of it when I was much bigger. But I tired on some shirts with horizontal stripes anyways and I had 3 blouses with horizontal stripes. They looked amazing on! I even got compliments on them. It's all about the right shirt that's all.

I love you so much, Sierra. I'm recovering from an eating disorder, and in my case, I had to gain weight in order to become healthy again. I wasn't happy with it, but I'm trying to learn that my healthiest is the most beautiful version of me. TheAmbivert me too, her confidence really does move me and make me feel like I am beautiful the way i am. Recovering from the eating disorder is still a struggle but we are stronger than it ! I don’t know you but I do know that you are so important to so many people, even if you don’t know that. I believe in you! I wouldn't consider my shorts "short shorts", they pass the fingertip test and everything. I found out this year as a 32 year old adult shopping at Old Navy online apparently I've been buying "short shorts" based off the inseam length.

I don’t either- I’m not plus sized but I have rolls, stretch marks, etc... I’ve never been confident enough to show my belly and after two kids and now being in my mid thirties I don’t think I ever will. I don’t mind though- there’s other parts of me that I like 😊

They're not rules, it's meant to be what your body will look good/not good in. I have a pear body shape so I am a huge fan of swing dresses and flowy skirts and not so much jeans as it draws attention to my bigger thighs and butt. But overall it's about what you feel good in!

there are fashion secrets like wearing the "right clothes" to look thinner... 1 no horizontal stripes 2 black is slimming 3 loose clothing for bigger people 4. wide leg pants to ballance out a "phat" body 5 (dull, light, soft, pastel, faded, dark) solids to hide in (refer to my thought on #10)/ no pattern/ no large pattern 6 no tucked in shirts, attracts attention to the middle of you, attention to visible belly line ad belly chunkiness... apearently this is compleatly unflattering..... but sometime a girl/boy just wants to flaunt their stuff, and not care that they are not "the right shape"! F it round is a shape! 7 tight clothing... shows every imperfection, so what! 8 showing skin... the thought is, who wants to look at stretch marks and phattness? Who wants to see dimples and cellulite? ... who wants to wear jogging pants to the beach in 90 degree/25-40 degree weather? 10. bright colours.... Just say No!!!!!!! Ugg... I saw this like 300 lbs woman get on the bus in an orangey/red dress that just made all of her look sooooo amazing I couldn't take my eyes off her. it was an empire wasted A line dress that came to just pass the knees, with flutter sleeves and a deep V neck... she was stunning! 11 cover them flapy arms!! ok just no! I have flapy arms and I freaking rock out allll year long in tank tops! tanks are where its at for me... V or scoop neck and arms... hell no! nobody's telling me my arms are too fat for a sleeve, hell there is no sleeve. I got sooo sick of sleeves not fitting cause dam it if the rest of the shirt fits... so F it and just wear what feels right... I'm over 160, and I have a body, don't like it don't look 12... DO NOT show your FAT.... if it's lumpy and bumpy it should be covered.... A man boob is a lump, a beer gut is lotsa lumpy... If they can do it so can you! 13 cover your bellybutton! this is a bigger issue for "The Masses" the bigger you are... I feel it's your body do as you please.. please watch "Kristen wears shear outfits for a week" and then tell me she looks amazing!

Yay for showing off that bump! I am way too insecure to wear a two-piece normally, but right now when I am pregnant I love it and I love showing off my bump! Unfortunately we've barely had any days warm enough for swimming so far this summer so I haven't gotten a lot of wear out of it. Being 39 weeks pregnant I'm not really one to complain about the lack of heat though. :p Good luck with the rest of tour pregnancy and branching out fashion-wise, go you!

just wondering - are you speaking in stores mostly for adults or for juniors? even in stores that technically dont have "teen" sizes but mainly cater towards juniors. im only wondering because, in most stores catered to teens, im about a 6, but can even be higher, but dont necessarily feel (or have been told) that my hips/legs don't seem to look those sizes, so, haha, honestly im just trying to figure out what size I truly am! and, it occurred to me that I wondered if stores that only sell clothes for adults/more mature women have different sizing, even though they use the same numbers. my mom gets the same size pants as I do when she shops, however, she's had a bunch of kids, so our hips are definitely not the same. haha - hope this makes sense! basically, just wondering if, even though they use the same numbers, if its known if stores for women are actually different measurements than stores for younger shoppers, even though nothing says their sizing is any different. thank you!

Lin Trash actually, that’s a good point! It actually usually seems to be the quality of the store. For example, in a less expensive store like H&M I’ll be a size 6, but in a higher end store like aritzia or Nordstrom I’ll be a size 4. But, I feel as though this can also apply to juniors vs. Adults, like when I shop in Winners. There’s an adult section (which I’ll be a size 4 in usually) and also a junior section which I most likely am a size 6 or even a size 8 sometimes! It’s truly odd and I feel as though it’s hard to actually know our true size! :(

Women sized clothing is numbered in even numbers , they will be cut for a wider hip smaller waist measurement and boob allowance. Juniors will be odd numbers cut straight up and down like a boy (no hips no boobs) Cheap clothing tends to be cut oddly or small because they just tend to add inches instead of resizing the pattern unlike a more expensive store which will resize completely.
