We live in Tennessee east Tennessee to be specific and believe me they said everyone would get $750 and so far no one has gotten $750.00 they are so corrupt. The majority of the fed gov has lost all credibility with the citizens that they swore an oath to and under God. That should not have been abused. Jesus said the road was narrow that leads to life and there are few that enter..the path to destruction is Wide and many go in. Only faith in Christ will cleanse you of your sin and grant you entrance into heaven and very very few people, even professing “Christians” have truly repented and submitted to Christ.

The Gov job cuts is actually great news- especially at the Federal level. I hate to see anyone become unemployed but shrinking the Governmental payrolls is an absolute must.

In exchange for committing to defend your property from invasion by foreign army, which you have literally 0% chance of preventing on your own, you give them x% of your land's worth each year. Did you see 👀 the latest on the Longshoremans strike from Monday? Supposedly, they have settled for a 62% wage increase immediately. This kind of fixed costs increases will have inflationary price increases pass down throughout the transportation cycle and onto the products we will be paying in the stores.

Keep in mind also that, when they quote unemployment numbers, they are counting the people who are receiving unemployment benefits! They are not including the people whose benefits have run out, or who have given up even looking for a job. The true unemployment rate could be twice as much! 😬

When I moved to Tacoma Washington 7 months ago from California I was surprised how I didn't see 'for sale' signs in front of homes. Now it's starting to show, empty houses with for sale signs. My guess is people are losing them.

I live in Wichita KS, the aircraft industry has not fully recovery, therefore, the air capital of the world is still suffering from many issues. Good thing the living standard is so low around here it is still bearable for now.
I am an Electrical Engineer with over 20 years of Power Distribution Experience before that I was a Technician doing installs of for 5 years , piad my way thru college with some scholarship and was laid off 6 months ago. Now DEI is where they go to seek so called talent . Men ar ebeing replaced with women with no Engineering experience.
There are jobs in the energy industry and a serious shortage of experts. Please continue to look for jobs and offer value to companies on projects. Managers who hire people are a good fit for the team and have the experience needed.

Lost 7k on my bonds today from that jobs report. If 254,000 jobs were created than the labor participation rate should have improved; yet they said it remained unchanged from August. This also makes NO sense. A blow jobs report has to have the labor particpation rate improve; or the jobs number has to be wrong
So I got a raise.. But the price of everything has gone up 5 x the price it was before Biden.. 99 cent shampoo is like $4.99 now Candy bars on the check stand use to be 3 for $1.00 U could get them on sale for 4 for $1.00 Now a candy bar is $2.49 each now. What they think we don’t know what we are paying?? Unbelievable a bag of potato chips use 2 be 99cents are like $6 bucks now.. So getting a raise didn’t help me at all. The power has gone up , my sewer bill has gone up and my property taxes..

Rate cutting cycles only start when an economy is weakening; yet the Fed did a half point cut 2 weeks ago while saying the economy was strong. That in itself makes NO sense at all. If the economy is strong than the Fed never cuts rates yet Powell did a large half point cut and said he expects 3 or 4 more cuts in the next year. None of this makes any sense.

there are states that have made it hard to get on unemployment benefits, such as iowa, which says in order to receive benefits you must apply and interview for 5 to 7 jobs every week you need to claim benefits. this will most definitely effect the unemployment numbers.
I feel like most people i know arent ok with it including me. We need to tell our public servants to serve the people and not countries halfway across the globe

Don't forget that during covid for the first time ever a self employed person could collect unemployment. Now not so. Also Pa maximum amount of weeks to collect was 26, than 52 then 104 weeks. Now back to 26 weeks during a rolling period. However, if you didn't work earning X credit weeks of W2 wages, you can't collect, or it would be greatly reduced. And every state is different.

@23:30 I have issue with you saying port workers were striking because of median household income. They were already being paid way above median and chose to strike because someone else was being paid more and they wanted more, and they had the muscle to force the issue.
Keep in mind those government job cuts would include state and city government jobs as well. Also I believe the government is cutting temporary contractors, like road construction and other non-permanent temporary contract services.
