Viva España, campeones de Europa. As an Englishman who speaks limited Spanish, the best team in the tournament, by some distance, won the trophy. As Micah Richards correctly pointed out, Spain look like a team where everyone knows what they're doing, whereas England at times look like a team of individuals who aren't so sure of what they're supposed to be doing. At least England weren't embarrassed, but we were outplayed, for most of the 90 minutes. No complaints here, Spain played the better football. The pass from Cucurella (I hope I spelled his name correctly) for the winning goal was briiliant, as was the finish.

After the 1st couple of games I was like oh its game over. Simply not convincing... How we made it to the final is baffling. The game against the Netherlands, well we were so much better so there was hope against Spain in my opinion. Was I confident that we could beat Spain? No. It was the most baffling tournament from England I have ever seen.

Why is it a surprise to anyone, this stacked England team is struggling against the likes of Denmark, Slovenia, Slovakia and Switzerland. The only good team that they played against are the Dutch team even they’re awful as they’re 3rd in the group. This Spanish team beats Italy, Croatia (filled with its golden generation), Germany and France while playing such an attractive football. This team totally deserved its victory.
