BREAKING: Henry Ruggs Cries During Sentencing In Court Hearing 

It was drunk driving, something 90% of people here have done. HOWEVER HE KILLED SOMEONE, 3 years is not enough and I'm a massive Raiders fan.

This situation is extremely sad all the way around. Certainly for the victim and their families and for Mr.Ruggs🙏🏼🙏🏼

He's crying because he can't play football anymore. He could careless about the person he killed .

He should of said f house arrest and just start doing his time ,, he could of had a year off already,,

I have a thing against drunk drivers, but with that said I can be impartial. After looking at past DUI sentences in Las Vegas im very confused by this low of a sentence. The average is 10-25. Haven’t found a single case of DUI resulting in death where the person got less than 10 years in the last 8 years. Seems that privilege is a real thing and Ruggs took advantage. I felt like he should have been more accountable than the average Joe. He lost his best friend to drunk driving and the NFL has a no questions asked ride service available to players 24/7 just so this doesn’t happen. Anywhere in the country Ruggs could call and have a ride there within an hour for free.

I have nothing against Ruggs but I think he got away with a slap on his wrist...

This is so sad ..I real hope anyone that drinks before he or she gets behind the wheel of the car they will think about this terrible situation .Tina who lost her life. And Ruggs will go behind bars and possibly never live out his dream..I hope and pray for every one involved that they all can find peace. I know there lives will never be the same. Ruggs knowing he killed beautiful Tina & her dog. & her parents who have to live without Tina. . R.I.P.with your precious dog..Tina ..Henry Ruggs i know you will help others when you get out. This is a standard plea deal with good lawyer's. Manslaughter in nevada only caries a 4 to 10 so someone without good lawyers like this get somewhere around that. So 3to10 is standard for anyone inthat situation. Nevada is very lenient with the sentences

Horrible Tragedy ! But not too long ago another NFL player did the same thing only their wasn't any accident but they did get caught .

He is banned for life in any football leagues

Another sad example of too much too soon. Coddled and adored from adolescence because he can run fast with a ball. Told he's special over and over at a very young age. Then handed millions of dollars and placed on a pedestal. What could possibly go wrong ?
