BREAKING IN A CATCHERS MITT IN ONE DAY (GAME READY) 

Never flatten out your glove it damages the form of your glove and yes it work faster but your glove over time will turn into a pancake.

Putting a leather glove into a shower is a very poor way of breaking in a glove.

You guys did it in two days and you shouldn’t put your glove in water because it could get smaller and it won’t fit you anymore

I just bought a A2000 catchers mitt and I broke it in the first day I got it all I did to break it in was play A LOT of catch.

why a flat break in instead of a box, with the flat you only pinch the ball and have less control, you want a catchers mitt to stay stiff so you can control the ball better

So I just followed these directions to break in a new softball catcher's mitt and outfield glove from your previous video. OMG! It worked like a charm. I used the hot water, mallet, 5 lb dumbbell, shorty bat, and put them in the car. It was 90 degrees today. My daughter had the biggest smile on her face when we played catch today. Amazing! Thank you.

Hey Coach! Thanks for making these videos! I've used these videos now to break in my son's glove, and now I've used this one break in a catcher mitt for one of the catchers on my team who though he had it broken in from one of the big chain sports stores, but I took the new mitt and had it floppy and poppy in less that 8 hours by using this technique!

I did this with my new mitt and it worked beautifully! It was game ready in a couple of hours! Definitely use this method, it works.

I made an account just to comment that I followed this video step by step when I bought my daughter a catchers mitt. Just like the other comments on here it worked better than I could of imagined! it took about 45 minutes to an hour from getting it wet to placing in the dash of my truck, this time included making a softball mallet as well. My daughter LOVES the POP so much, she is so excited to take it to practice and see what her pitchers think. Thanks for the awesome video!
