@@openminded_skeptic no they weren't, just like with the two Hellboy movies great movies but not great adaptions of the character, plus y'all need to stopped act as like this superior version of blade and no one can top that Ali has a chance to dive into the roots of the character not like the shallow Wesley snipes that he offered was just Cool fight scene and nothing more special

@teddybear8348 Blade 1 was a classic, great acting and great film! I like Blade 2 also, but Blade 3 not as good. However, i just liked seeing Wesley Snipes as Blade in all of the Blade films. No one can replace Wesley Snipes as Blade, he owned that role.

OG Movie is what proved that Their Characters could be popular on screen. Wesley originally wanted to make a Black Panther movie but ended up with The Day Walker Eric Brooks Either way a character that was really only known to Black Comic Fans. Movie came out and it was over!!! Blade - kicked so that Spidey could Swing and Wolverine could pop his claws. Now Stop Playing with Him and Get Him Back to the Screens

I loved Mahershala Ala as Cottonmouth. If he plays Blade that well it's gonna be brilliant. On top of everything else, he's passionate about the character. That's generally a good sign

I’m quite excited though I hope they can pull off Blade’s look just somewhat different despite that M.A. got to play two different characters in the MCU now that the defenders arc is canon!!! Considering how long it's been since it was first announced that Mr. Ali would take on the role of Blade, we should have at least gotten some Press images of what his version will look like aside from all the Fan Art images. They announced the Blade project too early as they were not prepared to do so. Also, why are they doing a Blade movie without any involvement from Snipes whatsoever??? His original Blade movie saved and laid the foundation to the current Marvel.

Honestly I'm just glad they're still making this movie Blade was a huge part of bringing other hero movies into existence and with it being rated R the sky is the limit

and I think i've said this before on a prior video, yes on Blade needing to be R-Rated. also I just assumed TV-MA was R for TV shows, since that's the highest rating you can give a show. Since I don't think there's an NC-17 for shows. Also I don't think anyone would purposely try to get an NC-17, since that pretty much means you can't advertise your movie anywhere. And I think that's kind of considered the Kiss of Death for stuff. I think I've seen there's only been a handful of movies that have that rating along with video games that have the Adult Only rating. Also the ones that I vaguely know exist, from the few reviews didn't really say they were really all that great. ...sorry for the long side tangent. but i hope we get another Werewolf by Night outing. That was a neat change of pace for Marvel shows. And I hope they don't skimp on the horror and grittiness. I don't think Deadpool did as well when they tested things out with that PG-13 version Deadpool. Although I think part of that might've been because people had already seen Deadpool 2, and didn't want to see it again.

I've been wishing for a NEW Blade feature for a long time. I initially wanted to see an upgraded reboot on the big screen, but as time passed and Marvel along with Disney began to have a variety of series with great characters, my personal joy was finally seeing Moon Knight in a live action format. Now I wouldn't mind just having a Blade series/limited series, as long as it leads to Midnight Sons and has an R rating. If they can get away with it for Echo, then they can surely handle it with Blade. Still, I know a feature film would have more room for the massive amount of blood and mutilation that we've all grown accustomed to and love about the entire Blade world. Either way, I just want my baby back.

In the new blade film, it will be interesting to see who eventually gets cast as Dracula and what direction they will take with that character. Tomb of Dracula or more modern where he is head of vampire nation in that Chernobyl like area.

Wesley Snipes as Blade completely carried the aura of what I would picture Blade to be. I really hope Ali can be Blade like what Chris Evans is to Cap and Ryan Reynolds is to Deadpool.
