@@davidboerst4789This could be an opportunity for them to tell a different story. We don't know MCU Miles' age. He could be very young and Peter is likely around 20 to 21. He has enough experience to mentor a beginner but Peter himself is learning, he can make mistakes. This will also give him time to reflect, Tony was his mentor and bossed him around a lot.

Hopefully Miles is more of a side character until Spider-Man 6 and then they can have him take over. I want to see more grounded stories with Peter and bigger stories with him and other heroes first before Miles takes over.

Honestly what I’d want to see is Miles and Peter having a joint film, and then having a separate film each before we see miles become the main spider man in the mcu and have Peter take care of the Sony stuff. We’ve seen Peter a lot, and while I love Tom’s Peter, I would love to see another spider man get the spotlight for a little bit in live action. But I would still want Peter in cross over movies and such and appearing in roles kinda like how hulk appears.

I think miles will be introduced but it’ll be before he gets powers. I think there’ll be a moment where Peter stops a villain but Miles’ dad, the police captain dies & prowler is accused but Spidey proves his innocence. Thus Miles looks up to Spidey cos he helps everyone, even those who deserve a 2nd chance or are innocent in events. I think the end credit scene will see Miles getting bit, which we fans know means he’ll be a future Spider-Man. I think Feast will play a big part, cos it’s the last thing Peter has of aunt May & it’s a great way to have me negative/kingpin or other street level villains. Maybe even hire scorpion to take down Spider-Man.

Maybe Spiderman 4 will be an origin story for MCU Miles Morales. Peter has already worked alongside other Spidermen but Miles is younger. Sony can go on to make live action spiderverse film involving MCU Peter and Miles and other Spidermen/Spiderwomen. They can also introduce various symbiotes and have MCU Peter fight Tom Hardy's Venom. Before all of that happens, Spiderman 4 has to be solo story and not a team up or multiverse breakdown movie. No Way Home was a multiverse movie but it was grounded and centred entirely on Peter. The question is: How does MCU Miles get his powers? In No Way Home, Peter took the powers of villains and sent them back to their timelines. Goblin argued that there is nothing wrong with their powers. In reverse, it can be said that Peter agrees with him because there is nothing wrong with the powers he was given when bitten by radioactive spider. It would be cool if Kingpin finds a way to steal powers and while they have Peter's DNA, something goes wrong and Miles is exposed to the aftermaths. Like how people get Hulk powers by secondary exposure to effects of gamma radiation.

I think Sony needs to sit down, look at the content they’ve put out the last few years, look at the early reception of Madame Web, and realize they have no idea what they’re doing.

I think it’d be better if Miles Morales is introduced as a secondary character in the film without his powers, then he would be shown getting bit in an end credit scene. That way Peter can be the sole focus of the film AND Miles can have a proper introduction

To me this seems more of a middle ground offer from marvel as in, “hey we won’t do multiversal but we will add miles to have multiple spider-men” and right now miles has the most hype as a character he’s ever had. So I believe marvel won in a sense and miles would come more into play during secret wars. Or maybe even after because i don’t believe they should rush the story of that mentorship before secret wars.

miles mom eventually becomes the mayor right? so maybe they introduce him along with daredevil in spider man 4 because miles mom will be running against kingpin or something in that context or atleast that’s what i think. of course the feast meet up makes a valid argument but i definitely think the mayor campaign is gonna play a huge part in daredevil and spider man teaming up as well as introducing miles
