Its actually possible. Just travel like 69 billion blocks away till you see the farlands. That'll give you a crispy fps of 6fps. Barely would take any effort.

Poor Knarfy not knowing that in these earlier versions of Minecraft, the ocean actually got larger and larger the further out you got...meaning there were stretches of up to 100k+ of nothing but ocean

Breaking Minecraft Idea: manually delete files while playing the game, try deleting mods while the game is running aswell.

About the ocean. Prior to release 1.7, Minecraft worlds were ocean dominated. Minecraft would generate continents within a world-spanning ocean with one always being placed at spawn. Since 1.7, worlds are largely land dominated. In other words, that ocean is actually infinite.

Now break it in spectator mode.

I have an idea to break minecraft in adventure mode: Just find a snapshot that added an experimental feature that when interacted with just crashes the game

At the end it said in chat "your gamemode has been changed"

I saw "42 seconds ago" and laughed. I had to watch this. Good job Knarfy. Another idea for "breaking Minecraft" is, take The Mace and see if you can... make it more powerful. Also enchant it. (even though you're not supposed to) This might not break, but it will bring me happiness. :P

Multimc is so useful, but there is a fork of it called Prism that allows you to directly download mods, resource packs, and modpacks from both curse forge and modrinth straight to the loader.

Snapshots for 1.4.2 existed, they are just not available anymore in the vanilla launcher. You can find them on the wiki though, you dont need the wayback machine for that

You know that you could've just found a shipwreck in 1.18 for example and open the chest with a treasure map, it would freeze the game. Way easier than doing whatever it is that you did.

Okay, that version of adventure mode from the snapshot is actually a really cool way to do adventure mode

If you open the Minecraft jar file with something like WinRAR or 7zip and replace steve.png with your skin (assuming it's the right image size for the version you're using), you'll be able to have your skin in older versions and/or in offline mode.

there's maps made with adventure mode in mind, where the map creator lets you put certain blocks down for puzzles by allowing a certain block to be put on a certain other block, if you can put in the code to make a nether portal, i think you can do this without using the snapshot

Spamming the screenshot key could possibly overload Minecraft. Possibly. But it's not really an adventure mode thing and you could argue it's similar to holding f3 c.

I remember the weird breaking feature in 12w34a i was like 8 and it when i updated my game i was so confused on why it didnt work anymore

I'm surprised for all the research that went into this video that Knarfy forgot or didn't find out that earlier versions of Minecraft's world gen were "continental". In other words, to feel more like Earth there would be mostly giant land masses and even bigger oceans between them dotted with small islands. We're genuinely talking thousands and thousands of blocks of oceans that are not realistically worth trying to cross, especially without TPing. It's like actually trying to sail across the pacific ocean irl

i think that oceans were so big in old mc (when i started playing) because in legacy/xbox 360/xbox 1 edition, the worlds were not INFINITE. they ended very quickly and had a limited amount of space because the consoles that minecraft was made to be on also had a limited amount of space, and so did the CDs. all this to say, in those old worlds, the edge of the world was ALWAYS, ALWAYS an ocean. it was always an ocean that stretched on infinitely into your render distance that you were not allowed to cross by some invisible force. (in my minecraft book, i plan to call it the Neverboundaries.) so my guess is those oceans are so large because old minecraft worlds, even on different consoles, sort of had a similar thing in their code where they needed to make infinite or near infinite oceans. idk, but the first minecraft i ever played was back in 2015 on an xbox 360, and i didn't even know it was a computer game until 2019 lol

Back in 2014 I found out you could crash (somewhere around 1.8) I found that you can crash the game by dropping potions through nether portals

ifg you have an xbox 360 you should do tnt caves it was my fav thing to do llol you first fill the world with tnt with the custom world feature in superflat and then light it up it will make automatic tnt caves and you can add roots to da cave just lighting a tnt in fire and maybye finding a village to make it more epic?

Knarfy, at the start in your test world you already broke Minecraft... According to bedrock knowledge as you CAN place any blocks or things in adventure mode

I just realized, adventure mode is just realistic minecraft. Like in real life you cant break 1 cubic meter blocks spontaneously with your bare hand 👍

Here's one that will crash your game: Apply every texture pack every created, if thats not enough then open a world with bed rock then a layer of armor stands, then make a bunch of command blocks that connately summons another armor stand, and another command block that summons every Minecraft item for every armor stand. If thats still not enough summon every mob in the game for every armor stand :)

you could have killed many skeletons and loaded up the dispensers in a jungle temple trap to maybe overload your computer even in the main version

What i dont understand about adventure mode is why it doesn't allow breaking or placing blocks, using items such as water buckets and etc. like whsts even the point of the mode

Hey im kinda new to your channel but ive been binging your crash Minecraft videos. And yet i feel as if ither i missed the video or people have failed us all. So step 1 load infinite roofed forest. Step 2 fire.... I mean FIRE!!! Let me know if this works. Just a thought.

Honestly I preferred the 12w34a adventure mode style, where you could break stuff so long as you had the correct tool type

You could have just found a Spawner made a spot for the mobs to fall, then waited. Eventually, you'd get enough entities that it would break the game. Woodland mansions have spider spawners. So you don't have to worry about digging to find them. You could also make a superflat with a spawner layer.

Try to do a survival series in survival in the snapshot that allows you to break blocks!

Spun a bunch of wardens and have them shoot their hyper blast at you well the green particle affect surrounds you while your cat stands on the keyboard

Couldn’t you also try to find a lot of ruined portals, then somehow find a fully built portal, then go to the nether, and with all the gold items from the previous ruined portals (which you smelted and turned into gold ingots), you set up a trading hole with piglins, then have them spit out so many items your game crashes due to too many entities being loaded? It’d be a long haul, but might work

Actually, being able to only break stuff with the right tool is how i remember adventure mode, it really surprised me when i learned that thats not a thing any more guess thats what happens when you dont play adventure in years

Just thought of a way to break Minecraft in adventure mode you could constantly breed animals or villagers tell a processing error or something
