I broke my writing process by stopping in the middle of drafting to go back to the beginning to revise act 1! Come along for the journey. There's Thai food, hitting 100K subscribers, and sadly my cat passing away :( But I revised act 1, dagnabbit!
Also some stupid notes on clothes. I literally have both a shirt AND a dress in the same pattern lol.

I’m so sorry for your loss, losing a pet is devastating. But I’m also so happy you treated yourself and thank you for showing us how you put on your makeup because I legit obsessed over it in every one of your videos.

Condolences Alexa.😢 Losing furbabies is so hard no matter how you prepare. I still cry about my companion from 1st grade to junior high. A gorgeous, huge (!) domestic short-hair (that might have been part Maine coon- he was so big! LOL!) You’re in my thoughts and your videos are a Godsend. I am so sorry about your fur baby. We lost our boy on the 14th of April and the sucky part is that I had to say goodbye through FaceTime because I was visiting family in Hawaii. Thankfully my husband was with him. He got sick really fast too. My thoughts are we you! Love those color pallets too!

Hi Alexa, Could you talk more about the timing (and typical/types of schedules) your Editor (or Editors in general) gives you to complete your draft, between the time the Contract is finalized but just before copy/line edits start? From your video, is it the norm to send the Editor thirds of your draft on a certain schedule?

Hi Alexa, i’ve been doing the exact same thing with my book - writing different scenes, single lines and character notes so that I don’t lose momentum. Sorry if you covered this already but I’m wondering how you keep it organized. What software do you use and/or how do you keep everything organized without having to constantly re-read everything you’ve already done?

I find that I like writing the end first. I need to have a destination, because if I don't have a place to take them, I don't know what they're doing and why, haha. I'm not the best outliner so I tend to stroll through a story rather than have a direct objective, and without that objective I get lost. So, writing the ending helps me move the story along. I know where it's going, and I can jump from scene to scene to fill in the details of how they get there. But I understand how people need that more linear writing process. It probably helps them revise less. But since I don't mind revising, I think this process gives me the freedom to not dread the revising process in the future.

Sorry for your loss. Life can really suck at times! Well done as well for posting and sharing how you are feeling. A small step but a step forward nonetheless. Good luck with the rest of your book. Everyday is a chance to kick ass and am sure you will!
