From what I can tell Driouech is a good player, but he's another very direct player who likes to take on defenders. Plus, he's a right footer who wants to play inverted on the left which is a profile we have a few of already. I'm fine with it if he's replacing Summerville/Gnonto, but I would have preferred someone who is accustomed to breaking down a packed defense. Driouech is used to playing in the Eredivisie which is very open and fast paced, nothing like the Championship

Cresswell is an aggressive defender who doesn't stop talking and offers a goal threat. All CBs since Jansson have been the opposite, hence why our defence has been leaky. He should be starting.

Only problem with football YT Chanel’s from an ad sense and algorithms you are not going to get repeated views of videos not like the other major content providers. So Conor or KG match reviews or preview are not going to repeated watches once they have been posted and watched after a week.

@@David54W yeah but with football there’s always going to be a talking point and videos are going to be posted as a result. Good avenue to create videos and get views maybe only initial views but views nevertheless. Also a lot of other ways to diverse your income streams like patron and live chats where people pay for comments. Conor is good at what he does like I say deserves everything that comes his way.

Hi Connor , A couple of months ago there was a rumour of Luke Baartman from Cape Town Spurs.. I was just wondering if that has gone totally quiet. I would be interesting to see what happens as CT Spurs got relegated and he would be available for no money at all. I have seen him play live 3 or 4 times and the boy is proper, obviously different levels but would love to see him join the leeds ranks

Like the look of him, but he looks more like a winger to me, not sure he can play ST. For 3.5m I think he’d make a great depth piece on the wing - his highlights look a lot like Summerville with the pace to get to the end line and the ability to cut in and curl one far post

I’m not saying he’s going to be Summerville 2.0. All I was talking about was that the video Conor says he’s a ST and compared him to Cameron archer. But he doesn’t play ST, he’s a winger. And when I saw his highlights he’s more of a Summerville replacement than a Bamford replacement

Agree, don’t think Summerville or Gnonto are anywhere close to the fees banded about by KG and Conor but if they are by chance sold for those fees and with the flaws in their game both Summerville and Gnonto have then can’t expect much ability and talent wise from £3.5 million inexperienced striker.

@David54W Well, based on the fact he is only 20 years old and has been capped at senior level by Italy, we will have to wait and see. Crystal Palace paid £18m rising to £22m for Adam Wharton from Blackburn, and he hadn't played in the Premiership.

A pacey striker only works if you have players able to make the pass. Otherwise it just goes through to the keeper or out of play. The number 10 is probably the most important thing we need to do this summer

Yes there no logic in the fans thought process. KG was talking £10m plus for Cresswell who as never played in the PL and not played for us all season this was after rumours that Cresswell might go for £3m to which he also counted - “ well if he did go for £3m we should be able to get an adequate replacement “ ( paraphrasing) just run that thinking through your head.

Like to know what the definition of a proven striker is ? Piroe came into the club under that guise and what cost between £12m to £15m ? and hardly set the Championship alight last season and this guy is ether a quarter or a fifth of Piroe transfer fee - lets get a bit of realty into the quality of potential signings

Yeah trust a coach who had the 2nd best squad in the league but managed to monumentally cock up the promotion push. A coach who never ever understood that changes could be made before 75 minutes. A coach who consistently played Ampadu & Gray who were probably the best midfield pairing in the league in defence. A coach who relied on a tactic of solely hoping one of our front 4 had a moment of brilliance. A coach who failed to effectively rotate the squad resulting in many of the squad being fatigued at the closing stages of the season.
