Meanwhile, children are actually still starving in this country let alone the rest of the world. Everybody is working two or three jobs. 75% of people are making $30,000 a year or less. People can’t afford a $500 emergency. I’m a little repulsed by the idea that anybody getting $212 million is a good thing. Especially somebody has injury prone.

@@David-fl7zs i’m not against enjoying life. I’m not even against being excited for the Knicks doing better. It’s OK to do all that. But I don’t know if it’s deserved. I don’t know if anybody deserves that kind of money. It’s a good move as long as he stays healthy. I’m not so sure he will. but I think it’s really time for us to start complaining about these high-end contracts. They don’t deserve that kind of money. They are skilled. They deserve some money. But not hundreds of millions of dollars. And those owners don’t deserve to be billionaires. I would much rather you get a $30,000 a year raise. or our neighbors be able to get their rent lowered to something reasonable. Or even for eggs to not be $20.
