Exactly my way of thinking. I’m part of the “Levy Out”, saying that I’m not naive enough to think Levy would walk, just because of a few dissenters. Good business so far. I'm loving the Werner deal. At last we are bringing in players with very little liability / commitment and virtually telling them to 'prove themselves' or they will be going back at the end of the loan. Spurs have killed two birds with one stone by loaning, Djed Spence to Genoa, as part of the deal to bring Radu Dragusin to White Hart Lane. I expect the player to fly in for his medical and sign a contract barring no last-minute hiccups, but the player has previously stated that he wants to come, so Bayern can do one. With Werner and Dragusin in, a striker and centreback, that leaves Ange’s stated request for a midfielder who can play as a No8, so expect more rumours linking us with midfielders. We are gradually getting rid of deadwood and adding quality depth to the squad which augurs well for Spurs future. COYS.

Unless Romero and Davies are out for multiple months, adding another CB doesn't make much sense when there are other holes in the squad. Drawing Man City in the next round of the FA cup could mean that Spurs go out and only will have 1 game a week the rest of the season. What's the point in having 4 1st team quality CBs? Davies and Emerson can also fill in as needed.

I’ll always have time to praise levy for what he’s done over the years but the way we take longer than most clubs when it comes to minor signings is embarrassing. I don’t think Levy deserves praise for this deal at all, he doesn’t deserve hate from it either it’s all just very underwhelming when we stated 2 weeks ago that we wanted a CB in the opening days of the window.
