I own Jasonn Goes to Hell on Blue Ray in the Friday the 13th blue ray collection. I don't need this on 4K but I respect hard core fans wanting to own it on BR. Plus, Jason Goes to Hell is not one of my favorite Friday the 13th movies.

They should just do them all in a 4K boxset, but than again they know what they're doing by selling them individually for boat loads of money. This is why I refuse to buy a 4K TV just to spend 40.00 dollars on one film . It's insane!

Arrow is putting them out in reverse order: Friday the 13th 4K releases: Part 1 comes out standalone Part 2 comes out in Paramount Scares V2 Remake Freddy vs. Jason 10 will come out from Arrow Jason Goes to Hell VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan? I guess we may also see Arrow put out that awful Nightmare remake.

Might've been a genuinely limited run by contract. We saw it with Barbarella, too. They sold out fast and went to a standard edition quickly. Maybe this one will just become a standard edition as well. It's still in stock on Amazon, but at retail.

So a potential Arrow box set of the 3 remaining New Line films and a steady rollout of the first 8 from Paramount (maybe 2 per year from now on). Yeah, I’m happy with that! Isn’t Part III already rumoured to be coming very soon? Out of interest what would a 4K rollout of A Nightmare on Elm St. look like? A potential Arrow boxset for all the films (bar one)?

Not my top favorites of the franchise, but I’ll still be grabbing these on day one just like the remake. Jason X is a blast, but Jason Goes Straight to Hell… not so much. I’ll give it another shot and see if my opinion changes this time around. Gimme Freddy vs Jason 4K! Also, love the bWo shirt!

Really hoping WB is gonna 4K TCM3, TCM(03) & TCM:TB are also getting remastered. WB is finally 4K'ing the vault. EDIT: 7:40 Yup. Remember when Shout had to issue a statement saying Paramount REQUIRED them, if they wanted Halloween 6-8, it had to come out as a Triple Pack in a set.

Jason Goes To Hell is a nostalgic favorite of mine. It's not the first one I watched, but it is the first Friday I owned on VHS and again the first I owned on DVD. I've seen it dozens of times and love it.

Some people talk bad about JGTH and JX but they’re actually two of my favorite movies! I love FVJ as well and waited 13 years for that movie. Not kidding either. I waited 13 years and saw FVJ 4 times in the theatre where I work! Good movie and ty for the update @Planet CHH. I’m hoping The Toxic Avenger remake hits physical media sooner rather than later. Was trying to watch the short again you did about The Toxic Avenger remake but it says it’s blocked due to copyright or something like that. Just such a shame it’s still on the shelf somewhere. Thanks again and we are one week away from the original A Nightmare On Elm Street on 4K finally!

I'm a little hesitant because I felt Arrow's release of the 2009 remake was bad (too bright and yet somehow too muted, too much DNR). I have a 35mm print and the blu ray looks closer to how it was originally projected. However, these should be from the original camera negative instead of a 2K DI upscale so hopefully it's good.
