Doom is a sorcerer. Doom does a spell and makes everyone remeber him he wanted too. He goes to doom and asks for his help but then finds out doom is bad doom.
That's a good analogy tbh...as I mentioned in my post (I did not read your post before I made mine) Doom tricks Peter, Peter is looking at Doom as Tony and Peter feels he can trust him, then Doom goes Doom on his ass
I don't like the MCU's Vulture because his story is not rich enough. I didn't feel the personnality of this vilain very well in the MCU. I hope wrighters will make something better.
Sony is the weak link in the chain, but keep in mind that marvel might throw some false leads playing people hopes and desires to hind what they are really doing.
No but..... the actor portraying him right now looks exactly as 616 Tony Stark so..... yeah they are definitely banking on that weirdness in the story.
Fingers crossed with get information about the plot of this film next year instead of just rumors. Can't wait to see who the villain of this film ends up being.

I've been hoping the villain would be someone more street level like Mr. Negative or Kingpin, but with this movie coming between Doomsday and Secret Wars, I'm sure it will be some kind of underboss for Dr. Doom, if not Doom himself. As for the unlikely ally, I'm down for Vulture or Venom. I just hope it's not another mentor, Pete has had enough of those.
I want to see all these actors back but he was still Spider-Man at the end of his last film. Spidey can be in so many franchises more than a lot of characters they’re using like in F4, X-men, avengers, etc.
Seems like Doom maybe starts as an ally with spidey and Dr strange because he’s trying to fix the incursions, but really he’s trying to build his power base up to god emperor doom
Really looking forward to this movie. Maybe that ally could be flash Thompson who gets a hold of a symbiote to become agent venom. Lol I know highly unlikely but it's out of the box thinking
Vulture showing up makes no sense to me for the reasons that you had stated. Dr. Doom being the villain makes some sense, as it would setup Avengers: Doomsday.
yeaaaaah, i'm not gonna feed into TOO much reporting like this until we get closer to the ACTUAL release date, but a title like Homeworlds isn't offputting... better than the previous two lol
Doom is bigger than a villain. He's bigger than Thanos when he's done correctly. Never assume "Doom is the villain of the film" even though, yes, he is. But he won't get played that simply. Think Loki for a better example of how the MCU will treat the character. Bigger than a villain.
Doom in a spiderman movie doesnt even match up or make sense even if it’s rdj. They keep doing stuff that allows everyone else to outshine spiderman when he’s supposed to be the one to watch. He’s supposed to be spectacular, amazing and an ultimate hero. Hard to be that when he doesn’t do anything by himself.

The end of the last spider man can maybe explain the reason how Keaton is back in the mcu the spell sent everyone back to their own universe remember !!
My personal opinion, I think they should make venom the mini boss and then they team up against either Dr. doom or null at the end excellent way to introduce venom and give fans what they want Spider-Man versus venom then their epic team up at the end
The title of brand new day is probably referring to his new life and identity being a secret. I still think that venom will appear in spite of my 4 because the Sylvia has to attach to Peter Parker and secret wars or sooner
This is a tuff one I think the plot is off however brand new day could refer to brand new start a new direction that could very well be the symbiot suit
Peters mentor (being tony stark) is going to be an awsome curveball with Doom looking like Robert Downey Jr (so peter will assume its Iron Man) though the worlds mind was erased so peter cant come out amd say it. They will become friends. It will be a big betrayal when Doom comes out as the big baddy. If Vulture is who peter teams up with.... ew
Doom shouldn't be the main villain, and it may have some of the setup showing what happened before Doomsday. Unlikely ally could be just about anyone. Deadpool would be hilarious, but this will probably be a much more serious movie. Vulture would be cool, but if it is Vulture because that universe merged in too, wouldn't Morbius be with him? There are so many possibilities.
