Keeping a level one rabbit over a trex definitely triggered me a bit. Buff your whole team every turn for three gold or get an extra health whenever you spend three gold to feed a pet…hmmmm 🤪
I know, I don't know who gave him the idea some episodes ago that green beetle was a great bacta target, but that guy managed to do some impressive trolling on NL's brain. I'm pretty sure bacta-ing a green beetle, especially while only using another green beetle as your bacta fuel, has to be the worse target (I mean, even if you couple it with a dromadery, just get yourself another animal to bacta, anything, with bacta on a green beetle you just always lose some value since you're already buffing the green beetle in play in the first place :vvvv). You could see for the entire first game how much it was not working whatsoever.
@@calebmiller2305 bacta refers to a bacta tank from star wars. Its like a healing pod. In SAP, its keeping an animal frozen in the shop while scaling it with things like green beetle. The freeze vfx coupled with the growth give off a bacta tank feel.
The navy’s It could’ve maybe poorly worked once he got the beetle to level two so it would be giving +2 health for the apples. But then he also got a rabbit which immediately ruined it by keeping the OG beetle at equal hp with the bacta
@@Jo2hu7 But what if you get shitty food? Thought about that? Better to not risk getting no or low value by rocking the sauropod. Also, by late game, your swan is usually well buffed, level 3, or gone
@@sainttrish7544 if you're running a seal or cat or something like that its rare u get bad food and maybe I just don't respect the swan enough but my swan is usually like 7/10 by round 10 and easily replaceable.
NL literally had the game so engraved in his brain that he was playing well all the way from the start of the game to the endgame... and then meme runs came and made his gameplay 2x worse... and then bacta came............
We’ve all been fools. The bacta tank first appears in The Empire Strikes Back, a film which chronicles the lowest point for the protagonist (NL) of the original Star Wars trilogy. The successes of the past (Dog meta, Hedgehog meta), have been all but forgotten as our hero faces an unstoppable force (Bison meta). All of the protagonist’s allies are separated, and he must continue on alone (No more hedgehog, caterpillar, or puppy). Finally, after attempting to improve himself and learn from a master (Rejecting bacta meta and returning to a classic food meta), our hero ultimately fails to resist impulsively falling into the enemy’s trap (“This is NOT Bacta”). And he pays the price for his mistake (Losses that lead to the failure of a great run)... HOWEVER, with the final death of bacta meta we may yet see the triumph of our hero (10-wins every video, baby!) We are simply watching the hero’s journey that will define this generation, and the saga has not ended.
WHEN I SAW THIS THE POG STARTED FALLING FROM THE SKY, I HELD MY HANDS TO CATCH AS MUCH OF THE POG RAIN AS POSSIBLE, AND THANK THE LORD ABOVE FOR THIS KIND GESTURE
Lol, Bacta works just fine if you get the right early shops. You take pigs turn one and two, sell them on turn 3 and roll for dromedaries. Ive had two dromedaries at level 2 on turn 5 and 6 using this strat.
Bacta never works… but the Green Beetle is literally the worst thing you can freeze. If you’re constantly feeding your active Green Beetle, the frozen one probably won’t out scale it. It is a losing strategy every time… also, feeding a Beetle after Cans are available is just silly.
one day he'll stop using a beetle to bacta a beetle and try to bacta literally any other animal. It's almost ironic how he insists on trying to force bird/beetle bacta with literally the only animal that it won't work with
@@osgrace3341 when the scorp respawns as a 1/1 it can no longer break melon, if you are fighting two 40/40 units with melon a 21/50 scorp will kill both but 50/50 scorp with mushroom won't
I haven't watched a SAP video from NL in awhile because I felt like he was worse than I was and he was sliding to even worse. I see he hasn't changed. There are just so many misplays that I can't even wrap my brain around his thought process.
for arena all you have to do is get early otters/fishes. maybe pill a turtle, get garlicked, maybe pick up a swan, and then pivot to bison plus monkey and/or penguin asap. not that you asked!
Please NL try to start thinking about WHY you are doing the things you are doing. The Bird Buffs are nice but you gotta use em afterwards by putting the creature to the front. The 4th unit isn't something you need to freeze or buy for ANYTHING lvl 1 if you're not early enough to use it as bison material. The fact that you get miniscule amounts of stats with some food plays vs just buying a better unit, with more hp on top! On that Note, you're almost never replacing animals with an almost strict upgrade (eg Bird -> T Rex)
Bacta needs too many things to be good. You need to Bacta a self-scaling unit that shows up early enough that your dromedaries(the only real choice for bacta-ing, green ladybugs are a lie)can really get some juice into it. Bacta for one round on a unit that is going to require a ton of gold to be good actually is just a waste of turns. Basically, you have to bacta a Bison as soon as it is possible to show up or you're going to be in a massive gold deficit.
If serious: it refers to using pets that buff all the animals in the shop to buff a particular pet you keep frozen to Christ and back. The name comes from The Empire Strikes Back. If not serious: don't worry, neither does NL.
Won’t it be better to put a different animal in the back like a swan or anything, freeze another swan, and have a blue bird give it attack and keep feeding the green beetle for health on the other swan cause when you feed the beetle to give the other beetle more health they just stay relative to each other so there’s no point in combining them for more health
I literally just opened my work email to check on an upcoming meeting when NL got his gchat message, I was so confused why I didn't see any notifications
Why why why did someone say to our lord and savior NL that you feed a beetle with a beetle in the shop??? The beetle on the field also gets buffed in the health department. Just go for another animal!
Why would you buff the same unit in the shop as the one you're feeding food to You're literally wasting the buff by giving apples to that unit Just have something else in the back while feeding the beetle, therefore scaling two units well instead of one badly
Just got my first flawless game, rng was on my side so much. Got a Penguin, level 2 crab and level 3 fish on turns 5-6 and soon after got a level 2 flamingo up front with a Bison chilling in the back but by that point my fish and crab were around 25/25 each and could solo everything since everyone had garlic armour. Never gonna get that lucky again
im a full time bacta main and i only go bacta ever. I see exactly what you are doing wrong. You dont commit hard enough if you go bacta you want as much hp and attack on ur bacta unit whilst just hanging on by a thread for as long as possible. Great units for this are a beetle a bird (like you already know) but also a lady bug is a perfect candidate for bactaing and only buy units that give a big powerspike nothing else. All your other gold needs to go to food for the beetle and beetle/bird/ladybug upgrades. When doing this you can always hit atleast 6 wins with a bit of shop luck.
