I love these kinds of videos. Even though I am already familiar with most of these tactics, the way that you explain them and provide examples is really helpful.
Yes definitely, and I often found myself at the mercy of lag, and pissed that none of my hits connect. Until i started using LAN, it’s a big difference from using WiFi.

Thank you. I appreciate the fact that you aren’t scared to put out tips which help the community become better. I hate when people try to horde information to themselves just so they can be better. While I do agree, that finding stuff out on your own is much more enjoyable any day and it’s hard not to keep that info to yourself, but to become better, it’s better to teach and learn from everyone which is the sole benefit of living in a society.

What you just did at 6:36, is rare. I normally would die to Rey trying to do that. As for the tips, I actually just found out about the jumping saber trick. My brother noticed it one day and told me about it. Other than that, these tips are something I'll have to keep in mind. Thanks for this.
Another tip is that you also have to analyze your opponents pattern while playing this passive-aggressive style. Think you went over this in some of your other videos, but often good players know some of the dashing tactics to get some good hits in. This is why it’s also important to feint with your attacks and you can also force other players to use all their dashes and keep up the aggressive play. Some players are counter strikers and they try to hit you if you attempt to go behind them by dashing backwards which leaves you vulnerable. So it’s also important to analyze how they play and how aggressive you can be.
D'angelo Tomato Very well said, in my next video I wanted to go over analyzing patterns, just have to figure out how to articulate that and demonstrate it on a video. You summed it up very well though, and most of that just comes through time and experience.
This will really help the new players , since the veterans know pretty much all of the game's strategies, moves and Glitches ,I used to have a blast learning all the glitches and why they happened, how they happened great video dude 😄
Yeah these are definitely geared toward new players, especially since finding out how many players have come back! Sometimes even the veterans can benefit too tho, like knowing the glitch but not understanding why it might happen. As long as they help in some way I'll be glad
True, I ve noticed some of the many tactics used come from pretty much a animation breaking another ( rolls, jump attack ) so when they learn why one of them happen they can "study " it

Very useful. Will be sure to try these out when I get back home, and the aim assist one just made me realize how dumb I am for not having turned it off earlier, since it really limits my play style now that I think about it. Can't wait for the next one
Oh, and if you are going to drastically higher your sensitivity to 50% or 60% you can balance the crazy speed somewhat by lowering the percentage of your "stick deadzone" until you find a balance between the 2 that suits. It takes the edge off and brings more control . . . Otherwise you'll be struggling just walking through doors like me getting used to a 60%+ sensitivity speed. Like you said though, baby steps! haha

WOW 😮 I never even considered the aim assist being linked to saber combat before. I stoopidly assumed it was a function strictly for blasters only... I'll deffo be checking that out later 🤟
Another dodging technique I use especially in a face off to take out the opponent quickly and more safely by taking little to no damage is when you face off against 4 or 1 opponent best thing is not to run away from them in fact have you block up and then as soon as the attacker pr attackers attempt to dash at you or swing dash towards them and turn around you will be directly behind them and if it's one opponent or 2 or even 3 you can swing your lightsaber to hit them once I the back then back off or take the opportunity if 2 ,3 or 4 players are too tough to bide time for you try to get behind them but in the direction of where your team mates spawn and as soon as you dash behind them jump back once dash back once or twice to separate the distance from you and your opponent while getting closer to your allies
Also I failed to mention that even if your opponent attacks you and you dash through them I rarely ever and almost never get damage from that as you slipped right by there attack
Yeah, aim assist is a weird bird in this game... sometimes it doesn’t know which target to snap to (I’ve missed a group in a bottleneck with Sentry because aim assist literally was stuck in between every target...) and it lowers your sensitivity when your crosshairs are near a hit box... I like the consistency of motion without it. Great vid; well spoken!
I learned most of this while playing but it’s still good to get a refresh on them I mostly love when I counter party and someone calls me s hacker, after being called a hack you know you’ve gotten good at the game
The Star Bazaar thanks, man! I’ve been maining Phasma for a while now and found that the new system allows me to engage in a melee fight easily thus I don’t have to rely on the droid. Even makes using Staff Strikes feasible since you can essentially whittle down their stamina and then use your staff when they have none left.
Oh dude the “forward back dash” is my bread n butter with Anakin. Do that and then passionate strike em’ in the back.. That’s probably my signature combo move with him, I get em’ with it at least 80% of the time, nobody expects it lol, just hold block n wait for em’ to walk up on you, then do it.... Another one (usually only works well on noobs) is to just run straight at em’ and do a jump attack, like at their head, and do the 180 jump while you hit em from overhead, then a lotta the time you can get another back hit in on em that way as well. That’s another one that catches ppl off guard, most don’t know how to block it. I love the simpler moves that just catch ppl off guard and make em not know how to react like that.
the best dodge move but is a bit risky is face towards the opponent, then turn 180 degrees so you show them your back, they use that as a time for them for you to attack but then you dodge backwards into them and hit them in the back.

6:36 Well, as much as i appreciate the tips, it's gonna be hard to play strategically when your opponent is glued to you and you take hits that shouldn't register
Godboundedbyrules Good Old Rey spammers amirite? True, best you can do there is keep blocking and dodge away. Their lock on will eventually break. I have some crazy stun lock footage I’m going to try to get the devs attention with because it’s still a problem
They should let you set up 1v1s in arcade. I'm an offline player, so I can only get saber duels in instant action, which both excludes the originals, and has enemy infantry constantly firing on me.
I used to turn off aim assist but with the stupid thing where your camera randomly rotates. Aim assist makes it less of a burden I want to turn it off again when they fix it but till then have it on if you're experiencing this bug
With Yoda I usually get close dash at the person turn to their back then dash again (if have 3 dashes turn around dash in front of them then unleash (force push them)
The "1 2" attack on infantry doesn't always work with the poor hit detection for lightsabers before, during, and a bit after a roll. Everything else was great ty :)
Hey @The Star Bazaar how come sometimes when i try to dodge or jump away from attackers (usually multiple attackers) the dodge or jump animation plays out, but then i get teleported back to where I was to get killed? Really annoys me when I try to dodge out of a sticky situation but the game throws me right back into it
Jack Martell Stun locks, it’s the block animation trying to keep up with all the attacks, and you’re trying to throw a dodge animation into the mix, and the game just can’t keep up. It’s bad lol I recorded a great example I plan to try to show the devs
@@TheStarBazaar Why wouldn't you give away legitimate info? Afraid the noobs will pose a challenge if they know the same things you do? (Probably so if 30 is high sensitivity...) Spread the info until it's common knowledge. Then there will be more advanced tech. It still comes down to practice and skill.

Wow. It's no wonder that I was accused of using a keyboard, and mouse with the PS4 version. I started playing in November 2017 with 34% sensitivity; increased to 42% in January 2018; increased, again, to 55% by May 2018... I kept that setting until 20-SEP-2018... when I deleted this POS, and put the disc in the shredder. I wasn't "getting owned." I was almost always the top player. I got the Platinum trophy 22 days after I started playing. I reached 100% milestone completion... 3 times... because EA & DICE do not understand the meaning of "100%" or "complete": January 2018, April 2018, and July 2018. I had every card in the game (as it was), all Epic, in July 2018; except for progression failure on Poe's X-Wing, and Iden's TIE (i.e. 10 cards require 40 skill points; not the 39 one has at level 40; 1 card on each couldn't be upgraded past Rare; integer arithmetic is beyond the skills of DICE developers). I unlocked every weapon, mod, emote, victory pose, appearance, trooper, special, vehicle, Hero, Villain, Hero Ship, and Villain Ship... before any "gifts" were bestowed by updates; no "free" unlocks: cost 1,605,000 credits (directly) + 500,000 credits (estimated) on loot boxes. I even reach level 40 on Artillery... which has no cards. I made myself a deal in July 2018, because the only thing I had left to EARN... was credits. The moment I reach 1,000,000 credits... with nothing available to purchase... I "burn my ships." As such, I would be well motivated to avoid playing this POS game ever again. If you are curious why I destroyed the physical disc, you can find my "frustration films" on my channel. I made them for friends, so I wouldn't distract them during play. In hindsight, I wish I had mentioned that my connection latency (ping) was only 16-17 ms. I knew that my estimates of bandwidth requirements were overkill... but, I was trying to debunk the "your bandwidth must not be high enough" fallacy I kept hearing from fellow players on forums. I only experienced RIDICULOUS lag playing this game... sometimes in 4v4... ALWAYS in 20v20. Coincidentally... when I lost connection to a game... EVERYONE in my group ALSO lost connection. So... the problem was not on my end. I suspect my success rate in games, and level of total-game completion flagged my account for low-priority bandwidth... to give other players a connectivity advantage... offsetting my settings, play-style, and card-level advantages. But, also... less bandwidth per player costs EA less money per month! They need only 500 Kbps (MAX). But, the lag I saw reminded me of 56 Kbps DIAL-UP gaming in 1998... which had the same data REQUIREMENTS as today, minus the likelihood that any residential ISP provided that bandwidth... which was known as ISDN. Cable broadband existed in 1998... just never met anyone who actually HAD it... then.
I noticed today that when playing as a saber user against another saber user (saber vs saber) that they can block forever until u hit them with your saber or they hit u and their stamina will go down if either get hit while blocking so two saber user can block forever until u get hit by a saber user so when one player releases block you can use on force abilities on them like darth mauls force throw so u can both block forever draining no stamina Im kinda annoyed by that but what’s y’all thoughts?
Jack Stutts Yeah it’s just a matter of playing them and forcing them to use their stamina. If all they do is block, then keep attacking and drain their stamina. Then take a break for a second and replenish your stamina, then keep attacking until they’re out.
Even though its nice to have right now I hope they eventually remove the jump swing breaking through force abilities. Ive had an anakin do this while I force choked him as maul but all he did was fall right next to me and heavy strike then got me with retribution.
Pretty sure swinging while mid air to avoid pushes/pulls is a bug? 6:25 you’re in a squad of 4 so I’m assuming you can communicate(giving you an advantage over the randoms on the other team) AND you have a lead by 4 yet you’ve got a teammate hiding? This is why they’re changing HVV🤦♂️
I agree with everything but the sensitivity tip. I play all kinds of shooters and the sensitivity helps in there but in Star Wars I always hip fire so the sensitivity is not needed
Regarding setting tips I was surprised how low the default brightness was on my PlayStation. Turning it up helped a lot especially on night levels. Also ppl stop sucking at HvV plz

Thanks for this tips, I'm getting better with them, the only problem is the other players xD Y usually play on Brazil sever, cuz I'm from Chile, the problem is there are a lot of crook players, tipically they just run in HvV or use the gliches to hide, to duplicate the heros and stuff like that, I really hate that. And when I switch to another server, USA server, I always get attack by the f*cking lag xD Oh man. So I try to make your tips work but a lot of things shit happens.
