Ryan Reynolds fought Bob Iger and Marvel to bring the Blade cameo to Deadpool and Wolverine, now he and Wesley are trying to get a new Blade spinoff with Ryan that Disney is rejecting.
Sad but true story Year 2020 I be in NYC at Green Irish Luck BBQ AND BAR and in walks blade himself, wesley snipes. I had just gotten my gender affirming surgery completely finishing my journey from thuggish corner boy to Nigerian Queen, so I would've been honored to have snipes break in my new "woman cave" so I don't even say hi I just say " ur famous. I just became a Nigerian queen, take my new "pooter" for a test drive in bathroom" and without saying a single word he follow me to bathroom stall and he bent me over and rode me hard. I remember thinking of how proud my 3rd grade students are gonna be knowing I smashed a famous person. He actually breaks the moment and finishes without warning and lites up a cig in bathroom. That's when I saw his name tag. He wasnt Wesley snipes, just some white man named CORY. when I confronted him about it, he called me disgusting and said he never told me his name so how can I be mad? I was crushed. Point of story? Never give up. See the joke was on him. He entered me raw and unprotected and I been had HIV since I was 21. He now be carrying the bug as well, poor baby. This is what fighting racism look like.

My country is not into superheroes so they didn't reacted much to anything besides jokes, however the moment Blade showed up they were like "Ooooooo" on him. Blade is by far more popular then any of Marvel characters here. And his presence on screen .. damn that hit hard. I rarely get so excited on movies, but on his cameo .. I am guilty as charged.

I experienced the same thing three out of the four times I went to go see it. By the fourth time there was so many spoilers on the social media. It was a no more surprise.

I don't really think that any studio would make a movie with Wesley Snipe at the helm, it likely took Reynold's level of financial muscle with the studio just to get Snipes into a co-star role in D&W I suspect. Maybe the youngsters don't realise that Snipes's behaviour was a well documented nightmare on set during the last Blade movie especially (he was always rumoured to be difficult to work with but it is hard to know what the facts of that are) - it is certain that many of the scenes in the final movie don't even have Snipes in them, but instead they had to use his body double as the director couldn't get Snipes to go on-set and work. Snipes badly impacted the financial success of that movie and consequently got himself blacklisted by the industry, hence him being out of public view since. His tax issues didn't do him any favours either.
@@dohadeer8242 he was hard to work with because he knew the script was terrible, they were trying to write him out and they wouldn't take his notes on the script. He was right, it was terrible. They didn't even have winslow throw the glasses to signify the final battle beginning as they did in 1 and 2.
I actually be down for seeing an aged, grizzled Blade, who's past his prime but makes up for it with just pure ruthlessness/viciousness that makes the Blade we've seen so far look like a boy scout. Snipes all the way.

Did anyone want a white Blade? I personally would be outraged (and I am from Europe) - race swapping is always wrong. Also gender swapping is utterly stupid, too. Why the eff won't they just make stuff people want to watch?? No one gives a damn about the Marvel's and Captain Marvel. No one gives a damn about Iron Hurt and certainly not about a female Blade. Marvel is a money printing machine, yet they're too dumb or unwilling to do it.
Snipes will always be the first black super hero to me. Back from a time chill enough that it didn't even have to be about being black, just a fun r rated super hero was enough.

But while we are on the topic I think Spawn wasn't a very well loved or successful film so people forget about it. Many people also didn't know that it was a comic book when it came out. Let's just say that Blade is the first black mainstream super hero on screen.
Blade single handily saved marvel 25 years ago, and they have no respect for Snipes. Blade ages like a human despite being half vampire, having him come back to send off the character similar to Logan is the least Snipes deserves. Him being age appropriate is literally perfect for the story, not to mention Wesley already looked great in the suit. We need to petition this shit and get it done even with crowd sourcing like the first Deadpool.
He was one of the best parts of Deadpool and Wolverine. I left the theatre thinking dudes still got it! Let him play the part! What a waste of 5yrs trying to bang out a story no one wants.

They have been doing new characters, Shang Chi, eternals, Kang, lady in blackwidow, ms marvel, she-hulk, etc... problem is we has fans are not accepting them, majority want the old established characters that made the MCU great. Yes, they were also badly written, which did not help at all.

I never really get excited when there is something like a cameo in a movie, and he was literally the only cameo/side character reveal ever I have had a full body reaction to. Oh man the chills I got and a fck yeah just flew out of my mouth without even thinking about it. Not making another blade would definitely be a stupid decision seeing the amount of people that went crazy excited seeing him as blade in the big screen is insane.
Remember, that new Blade show they were making was ACTUALLY going to be about 3 women, and Blade was going to be in the back seat. This is not a joke, that's what Marvel said a while ago. If it's not a Snipe's Blade show made by a REAL director with REAL writers, then I ain't gonna see it.
If Disney still wants to replace Blade with his daughter, it would make much more sense to do it using an aging Wesley Snipes than it would be for a new actor entering the role in Mahershala Ali. It's probably going to be the same case for Logan and X-23. The Secret Wars will do the same thing Endgame did. Replace male roles with corresponding female roles.

You said no one wants this new Blade. That's not true, many people were excited at the idea when it was presented including myself. I was very happy at the news we'd be getting New Blade movies, and the idea that he'd have a place in Marvel's future was very exciting. But it was Marvel's stupidity that's kept this film on hold so long the fans have lost interest, they all think it's a doomed project now. Because in a Blade movie, they tried to give him a daughter and make it about her instead. So they had to rewrite it, and again they messed it up, Blade was the fourth lead in his own movie at one point. These idiots couldn't get it right and that's why we're here. They couldn't let go of their MSHE-U Agenda and just give us a Blade movie
They already tried another blade actor in a tv series with Jill wagner in her prime. It didn't get renewed. Much of it is Wesley has extensive martial arts training and charisma together that doesn't grow on trees.
Having Snipes come back is easy. Have Snipes come in as a "blood sober" Blade, where victory over Drake's army is what beat him. A handful of years after BLADE:TRINITY, Lilith wakens and creates a brand new bloodline of vampires and they expand over the next 10 years. They try to find who Blade is and they capture, and convert him into a vampire. At this point, he's DEaged, and becomes a younger Blade: enter Ali. He is then sent to erase his entire network of vampire hunters, and the first person he goes to is the doctor from Blade 1, who changed her name...and has a 20 year old daughter.
@@bidkgaming2933 Hahaha, that gets us halfway through the movie. The daughter is his, the doctor and him hooked up after Blade 1 or Blade Trinity, and he left to protect her. But he warned her that given his work, she should protect herself and disappear and always be prepared. Hence the trap in this film and get continued research to reverse vampirism. The rest of the film is about killing or reverting vampires. I probably would keep Lilith alive at the end, as an Emperor Palpatine type, so she's the main baddie of this new trilogy. Could also be a Thanos like threat for a Midnight Suns finales. So, the villain of this first new movie would be one of the appointed leaders of the new horde. Maybe someone almost as old as Lilith. Could even be Hannibal King (Ryan Reynolds character) or Jessica Beals character, maybe Lilith got to them first.

With the whole multiverse concept, I think it would definitely benefit them to make a movie in the style of "Logan." It hasn't been a good vampire movie in forever. They could create something serious with the vibes of "Deadpool" and "Wolverine." I believe the other actor-whose name I can't mention-should be able to wait at least another 2-3 years for his movie. Let's give Wesley Snipes the send-off he deserves for "Blade." He started all of this right here.
