Someone should tell the club to redevelop shuttered space downtown or such to build out a big club store. This would make sense and then the store on the ground could remain smaller and not have to carry all the load. As we go up again, merch will double and triple again. Come on you locals, make sure Sean or somebody starts thinking about this; it's the right move for the town! 🎉❤

I phoned the club shop yesterday about the training tops as I want a larger size and they didn’t have any in at the weekend. I asked when the training tops were going online and he said likely to be a few weeks before they are on the site

I thought it was a little odd that the Kop stand was going to be so small. If you think of it as phase one and how they could redevelop the Wrexham Lager stand next, it could effect the design. I don’t think an upper deck would necessarily be bad. If you were rebuilding the WL stand, there’s limited space, so a 2 tier design might be the only option (up not out). Then the Kop stand should be 2 tier to match.

What is the minimum capacity for Premier League clubs? I remember Luton had to make some major upgrades to meet the standard.

I don’t think that there is a minimum capacity. Currently the smallest Premier League ground is AFC Bournemouth’s, capacity 11,307 - smaller than the Cae Ras.

If the plan is to build modularly towards eventual Premier League participation, I think 40-50 thousand range is doable...eventually. This cop renovation to 7500 sounds about right with the larger ultimate goal in mind. I hope they make plans to somehow incorporate the current Turf building into the new stadium, even if it is only a facade. Keeping that tradition of the birthplace of the club I think is important.

Seeing a lot of commentary around the new kop following the FID podcast - it’s not really confirmed news. Seems more like WST sharing information from a meeting that perhaps wasn’t intended to be shared when discussed with him. Surely the club would want to be the ones who announce this? Until they do, it’s all speculation (and 20 months is incredibly ambitious to deliver it!) I would be super happy if it was true though - can’t wait to see it

As someone from Michigan I always laugh about stadium sizes... We have something call The Big House" Capacity 107,601 but has hoseted 115,000. So 7500 seems quaint
