Wrexham AFC and fans are still waiting on a KOP STAND redesign and Humphrey Kerr has said we should hear about this next spring. Over the summer Wrexham FC installed additional capacity to the temporary stand. They are awaiting permission for that work and have submitted a retrospective planning application. #wrexham #ryanreynolds #wrexhamfc

Question: Does the temporary Kop impact the construction of the actual future Kop? Like is it in the way of where they will build, if so, will it be taken down before they start building it? Or have they already started building it and are they able to do this with the stand being there?

The temporary Kop will be taken down prior to construction of the new one.

Got to be honest with you, I think you have a better chance of getting footage of flying pigs circling Wrexham. Rather then footage of work on the new KOP stand. Hope I am wrong, but looking forward to seeing pigs fly!😂🐖

I can't believe the club haven't released a video explaining what is going on. Did you manage to watch the video Mansfield released about our new stand, all the ins and outs, what's what and a timeline of when they want it done by. If not you definitely should, it sounds amazing for a club like us

@@UpthetownWrexham I don't know if this is common knowledge, but the reason I feel the club, owners and supporters feel so close and like family, is because our owner is a Mansfield lad too and his wife is the CEO of the club too

Can you put a roof on a temporary stand? Also, if the footings for the temp Kop are the same ones that the New Kop will use, then the work done for the temp Kop would speed up construction of the New Kop ... but paying for a roof that is only up an uncertain length of time would have needed a hefty ticket price increase, and then taking the roof down might have added construction time to building the New Kop.

I think you could put a temporary roof on but the cost would be huge! Like you said the ticket prices would be almost doubled.

@@WrexhamAFCfanzone Plus there are already moaners going on about how the New Kop will "never be built" ... the temporary stand has always been a make-do until construction of the New Kop can start, and they aren't going to do something with the temp stand that will slow down construction of the New Kop when it does get started.
