@@TheCuteInExecute they found that the rough texture leads to a higher risk of an immune response related cancer. Saline implants are safest with smooth silicone being second. Most textured implants have been recalled.
To all the comments are saying that women get breast implants for men… Please shut up. I lost my breasts to an autoimmune disease, I just wanted to feel like my old self.
That "too small" implant would double the size of my chest! Maybe I wanna stay small just not this small? Actually I don't want an implant at all, I'm fine being that small, which makes it even more funny
I have never had implants, I used to want them when I left highschool because of insecurity, after hearing him list the whole bible of bad implants I’m fine with two small bread rolls. You should be to 🙂
That sounds virtuous, but not true. I love my wife’s big fake boobs and so does she. It completely balanced her body shape and complemented the rest of her figure.
While silicone feels a little more natural- it’s hard to tell if they ruptured. It is recommended to get an MRI every year I believe if you have silicone. It’s obvious if saline ruptures and your body absorbs it. Not so with silicone. I am not sure what his reasons are though.
I didn't know saline implants still had a silicone shell. I want my removed. I really believe alot of my autoimmune issues came from this and I'm just tired all the time. I'm done worrying abouut what I look like to people. I'm focusing on my inner self.
Probably because silicone won't rupture inside of your breast, if silicone 'ruptures' it doesn't really rupture because it's solid material and doesn't have liquid inside, it just kinda deforms. Also silicone implants don't move around inside of your breasts like saline does. Saline is also more prone to growing mold and bacteria inside of the implants
@@kaede7876 if saline ruptures its absolutely harmless lol so it doesn't matter. never heard of saline moving around... both will form a capsule and the surgeons create a pocket for them to sit in.
I keep going back and forth with this. I want to get them but seeing so many people getting sick from them, I’m scared. With my luck, I’d be one of the unlucky ones.
i wonder which ones are correlated with the most sickness (besides textured and increased cancer risk) and which methods, too. I want saline sub glandular because I just want help with projection and I work out enough that sub muscular would be too problematic.
@@josephinenelan4204 I've had saline implants since I was 18yrs old and 2 months ago I just replaced them because I've had them in for 17 years. I did the exact same implants saline and went under the muscle. I weight train 5 days a week however I don't workout chest and I've NEVER had any problems with my implants. 🙏🙏🙏🙏
@@jmomlopez I absolutely do train chest though, I've been looking into implants on and off since 2018, especially now that I've had two babies. Fortunately I have DDD, they're just droopy so I think I can get a lift and have enough mass for them to not look blatantly fake. But I want to do figure competing when I'm done breastfeeding and get even more into pole fitness which... that's chest. I've seen bikini competitors can get away with below the muscle, but you run into risks beyond that. And so far what I see from the pole dance implant forums it depends how you dance. I want to do it for strength, got a pole when the gyms closed, and I know for a fact I do not want sub muscular. Everyone's weight training is different. Edit to add: I want none of my response to be seen as a rude tone, I responded because I realize I didn't clarify the type of workouts I did. I understand many people can workout and have no animation deformities or the reshaping of implants from workouts. I know for me and what I currently do, and especially what I hope to do when I'm done going through pregnancies is a far higher risk for those undesirable effects. I feel like the first paragraph might sound condescending when I think I just didn't write as tactfully as I could have. Tonality and body language add so much to conversation but typing is a serious art to not just sound like a prick. 😩
Don't risk it love, I wanted to get them too but our health is the number one most important thing and it's not worth the risk in my opinion. Some might not have any problems with them but the risk of losing your health is there :(
Why small implants are not recommended doc? I just want to reconstruct my body after massive weight loss and I planned to go with the small one just to make definition on my chest. Kindly advising, doc
My mom's temporary expanders, after her bilateral mastectomy to remove her breast cancer, really didn't go too well and she needed to get new ones in much earlier than expected, keeping her out of work way longer than she expected. I'm just lucky we don't live in the US and it was all paid through taxes while I had to help her pay the bills while she was off unexpectedly.
Dear Dr. Youn, can you please make videos about saline and silicone implants? I am interested in reasons, why are saline one much more popular in USA, while in Europe are basically just silicone one used. Thank you.
As of recent, most surgeons I’ve consulted with use the “gummy bear” type. Which are silicone. I eventually settled on a doctor last week after speaking with several in the south eastern region of the United States (FLA, sc ga nc etc) and honestly they all used this type. My friends who’ve recently gotten them in the last few years too all have the gummy bear type. So I think perhaps the trend is transitioning
As much as I don't like breast implant people This is good .. if they want to they can make slightly better informed decisions. Nice. Now if you don't know if they show you something and put in something else...
My mom is a size 0 or 2 (depending on the pants) and a plastic surgeon was cool with giving her DD's. She looks like she told the surgeon "You know Dolly Parton, that size".
Ok so why is everyone trying to tell me saline is bad? I'm having reconstruction after a double mastectomy. I'll have expanders for a bit, but I'm going way down. From an f/g cup to a b/c possibly. I'm waiting because if I need radiation it can cause serious issues with implants, that way I'll at least know slightly more. Whether i put it under the top muscle with a cadaver skin stabilizer....and over the muscle with the entire cadaver stabilizer. Why do you like saline? My plastics said i can have whatever i want, its just so confusing when its out of med reasons and not bcuz I just want a reduction etc. The choice was taken, i do this...or I die. I'm looking at wigs & other cancer items and don't know what i need or doing need. I've been 🧘♀️ every night, cutting back on no no foods, eating better foods for my body and that help fight cancer. What else can i do? Also I have been breaking out constantly, while i realize stress does that....not to this extent when you're 42 w normally clear skin. So cancer acne is apparently a real thing, at least for me and some others i know. If i could do a telehealth appt w u and could afford it oop (im sure your rates are out of my range lol) ...otherwise I would cuz i highly respect you. I believe you'd dislike my gen surgeon, he says all the things you do your short skits on that irritate you. Dumb stuff he knows nothing about all the way to looking at my husband when answering MY questions abt my body. He speaks condescending to all, and he didn't want to give me my options or at least let me know so they consider my input. The PATIENT advocate I was assigned has def not advocated for me, she is too busy making excuses for his unprofessional behavior. It's really horrible. Scary enough to have BC, even scarier coming to terms with the person doing the surgery not my biggest fan nor am I his fan. I hope I didnt make the wrong choice....but i feel more at peace now that i have.
Ok so the brand is Ideal Saline, I'll ask my doc. If its a higher quality saline I'd still prefer that. 2 of my friends have the gummy bear implants. (Not cancer just had augmentation)
Is it not like permanently attaching like some inorganic packets to the otherwise free chest area. I don't know man that looks very suffocating. It's cruelty.
I just got implants last week. It is quite the adjustment as my boobs are so lifted. They’re basically the same size but ^up^ so it’s like wow why are all these boobs in my chin 😂 ? I feel like I have two balloons attached to my chest. I guess eventually they will descend some and soften right?😮
I just replaced mine 2 months ago and I had my old set in for 17yrs. No problems at all just thought it was time but doctors recommend every 10yrs because that's the warranty the implant manufacturer gives you.
The Ideal implant is saline but it’s a structured implant of layered shells. It has the same feel of silicone, but the safety of saline. It’s also safer when it comes to leaks because of the layers. So if - God forbid there’s a problem and it does leak, it slow leaks. There’s no collapse
Now who is gonna use an implant that was in someone else? By the way, was that Little Kim playing in background? Homage to the messed up plastic surgery queen
You need to not put misinformation out it’s really irresponsible of you. Gummy bear implants were not recalled it was specifically textured silicone implants. And then you recommended against gummy bear but suggest silicone which they are both silicone..please proofread before putting inaccurate info out as a medical person
@Krîmż You missed what I'm trying to say.. I mean every person is beautiful just the way they are.. They can take surgery to change their body if they want to but they can also be contented and happy. I don't even know why I need to explain myself lol.. Also it doesn't matter if I say it.. It's up to you to follow.. You have your own brain and mind(if you really have them)you can decide what's good and bad to you. So why so angry Karen? Like as if this comments gonna affect your daily living.. I ain't trying to hurt your crying ass 😂😂
@Krîmż why do you care so much about what I say? You're the Karen here. That's funny. I guess you'll be out calling my manager because you can't accept what I said lol
my request and advice for all the women who want to implant. please dont do that. accept the beauty of the God he gave to you. this is not good for health also. if you cant accept yourself beauty than what are expact from others. The most important thing is Love and respect. if a men seeking body attraction in you than that love is not love.its fake. so accept yourself and enjoy this beautiful life without tention. God bless all
Some women get implants bc there boobs can be uneven, and if they’ve have breast cancer they might have had one breast removed. And honestly it’s their choice to get them
Are the too-small ones more likely to get dislodged or something? My grandma got an implant back in the 80's and due to falls it started floating higher up her chest. In fact it eventually ruptured! 😱
i think it's more an aesthetic thing, like if you go too small, because maybe you want to be conservative, it might end up not being the size you want, and would then need surgery again to go just a little bigger. better to go to that slightly bigger size right away.
Hey doc! I need some help here 🥺. Every time i eat something until i get full, my stomach feels like its gonna explode and also nausea. Is it an infection or is it normal?
I don't think he's that kind of doctor. You need a gastroenterologist! My gastroenterologist gave me an upper endoscopy and found that I had microbleeds in my stomach when I had that problem.
So, I'm not a doctor so don't quote me on this but when we eat our stomachs expand to accommodate the amount of food we eat which gives the feeling if being full but if we eat too much it cane make us feel as though we will explode and cause nausea because we over ate. I'm sure if I'm right someone will let you know or confirm this but I'm 99.9% sure it's perfectly normal the 1 percent is just because I'm not a doctor just a person
The stomach & gi tract is seriously fickle. It could be a variety of things, you could be suffering from a gluten allergy which causes a shock to your system if gluten is ingested(ex: severe stomach pain, bloating, nausea). It could be dairy, if you’re lactose intolerant you’ll typically have symptoms directly after consuming dairy but it can make your gut feel like a serious mess. For this you can take lactaid or avoid dairy completely. Sucralose intolerance is another possibility, with this you’d want to cut as much sugar out of your diet as possible. Abdominal massage & increasing your movement throughout your day are some simple things you can do right now to improve your issues
Getting more probiotics in your diet can benefit as well, a tablespoon full of sauerkraut has more probiotics than any supplement you’ll find online. Drinking lots of water & taking fiber supplements will also aid digestion
Or I got one better ladies... Don't get them at all. I promise you more than any other promise us men will love them no matter the shape or size don't let your insecurities lie to you we men love them all. Doctors just want to make bank on your insecurities
@@obisfish do not do anything. Like they said. Wait and see the optometrist. Seen too many people thinking they lost it or it's stuck and it's not even in and they remove their own corneas. Just don't. And if you must, then close your eye, and gently rub in a circular motion both ways to attempt to dislodge it. But again. Please refrain.
I have tubular breast and am getting surgery to correct it. For that I need implants. How do they determine what size to use? How do they determine which type to use?
