Breastfeeding is a HUGE commitment and takes soooo much determination. I was a first time mom also, and I had all the same struggles Les mentioned and a few more on top of those. I pushed through it and had the blessing of being able to nurse my son exclusively and on demand the first year of his life. My son is now 2 years and 3 months and our breastfeeding journey is coming to an end very soon. Yes breast milk is and will always be the best but breastfeeding isn’t for everyone and that’s okay. In the end, fed is necessary (best).

At the end of the day breastfed or formula-fed they all end up being chicken nuggets lovers 🤦🏻‍♀️🙃

I feel like a lot of mom now a days don’t support each other when someone doesnt do the same thing they do. Im pregnant and alot of mom’s body shamed me by saying “omg i was showing until i was 6months for my 1st baby” and me over here showing when i was 14 weeks . im 19 weeks right now and still not comfortable with my pregnancy tummy because of that. I heard alot of stories that ppl cant breast feed and they get alot negative for it. When we should support Each other and make the journey better then worst.

Good for you girl. I'm glad u made this video stating you have no guilt. Breastfeeding mommas make us non breastfeeding mommas feel like we are less and in reality we are all just doing our best and what works for us. I cried because I couldn't nurse my baby and i wanted to so badly but I was also suffocating him so I made the hard decision to stop. He is now 6 yrs old and happy and healthy. Omg LES! They grew so big! I had the same issue with my son not being able to latch & being frustrated! I had to switch to formula because I wasn’t producing enough milk & then they started leaking , got hard & painful 😩 the cabbage leaves worked so well for me! I hated people trying to make me feel bad for not continuing to try but my baby ended up with jaundice so the formula helped him get rid of it ! You tried & that’s what counts! Your baby is healthy & that’s what matters💖

I Especially Love how you ended this video. Bc I know I was so shamed by not just family but also healthcare providers bc I didn’t breastfeed too long bc of some issues. You are right. Just bc you don’t breastfeed it doesn’t make you any less of a Mom. I have a 2 yr old baby genius who was able to breastfeed for about a week or 2 before going to formula. I love your positivity about breastfeeding!!! I remember when I had my daughter I receive so much backlash from my BF fanily for not breastfeeding but honestly it was my choice. There’s nothing wrong with it everyone is different. My boobs didn’t get big but they did hurt. My doctor had told me to use double the support which was a bra and a sports bra for me. When I showered I would try to avoid using hot/warm water. My doctor said it would stimulate my milk production. So I would take quick cold showers & used the extra support.

I am a mom who breastfeeds but i know EXACTLY what you’re talking about. I stopped producing a lot for a short while & got really sad. But now that I’m 3 months postpartum when i don’t have enough i do half formula half breast milk. I’m glad you’re doing what makes YOU& BABY G happy & comfortable. At the end of the day that’s all that matters.

So glad to see that I’m not the only one who went through this. This is almost like my exact experience with my 1st baby and I felt so guilty when I had to completely switch her to breast milk, but now with my 2nd baby I already know how it would be so I’m just doing formula this time around.
