BREATH OF THE WILD Permadeath Is Still Scary

The one thing that motivates him, beyond all-consuming terror, is the love for *[REDACTED]* fish men. Despite his dress to impress, Quin does drown directly within the sight lines of one very disappointed zora negotiator. Hopefully, he did not catch his name, else said drowning will make for a terrible first impression with what could qualify as an olympic swimmer. … *[REDACTED]* In episode 2 of QuinBoBin’s Breath of the Wild series, he died to the North Dueling Peaks (Senior) Stone Talus. In episode 108 of QuinBoBin’s Breath of the Wild series, he has decided to test his fate, laying out his gall before the will of the gods. (Un)fortunately, he fled before they could enact their final punishment for his hubris. Another time, perhaps. 6:14 *Korok 12* :) The bonds of time have been revived. Then again, he could really do without taking half of his health for two shrines that could be done in a few tr… _he can’t leave shrines…_ An interesting development, then. 10:32 Dumb joke aside, Quin must battle with his intrusive thoughts (11:43) to avoid the twist of the run. Then, he must battle three active guardians at once while rafting across a river. To grab the master sword early, try putting the campfire right next to the sword. That way, if you stand next to both the fire and the sword, you should be able to see the pull option (for the sword) and the sit option (for the fire) with Link only turning in the direction of whatever your facing (for instance, if your facing the sword, the pull option should be there. But, if you only turn Link to face the campfire, you should see the sit option. The option screen should never disappear). Then you look up at the sky and spam A. Because you can see both options at once, when the pull option shows up after you're done passing time Link instantly grabs the sword. Hope this helps xD

Quick tip: your armor doesnt affect whether you get struck by ligthning or not. It only looks at your bow, shield and sword. You’re free to wear the phantom gear even in thunderstorms.

It may look like Quin is just running away but the enemies are just ignoring him bc they are too scared to fight Quin.

quick tip: all the monsters kept seeing you from really far away because you were whistle sprinting, which stiff functions as whistling so they hear you from far away.

fun fact: link cant die as long as his health is 100%, because it is coded so he has at least a quarter heart, as long as he has 100% health, but even if he only has a quarter heart missing he can die (in one hit i meant)

The ”Everybody! How’s it goin’?” At the start of each video fills me to the brim with joy

The Woodland tower is always one of the first towers I go for, because the Royal Claymore on top of it is so invaluable at the beginning of the game. Always make sure to go back to it after every blood moon.

Quin The way that enemies get stronger is that when you kill enemies they give something like xp and when you pass say 500, all enemies rank up (except for some ie ploymus lynel) Killing a blight ganon gives you 300 so you don’t have to necessarily beat a divine beast for enemies to rank up to the next colour

And not that you have forgotten that an arrow to the eye of the baby guardians kills them. Because, honestly, watching you frantically climb ice blocks was way more entertaining. Flawless. To the running away rule you should add that you can’t warp away from an enemy, you need to run away and lose them before warping. It’s all up to you though Love the video😊

Not sure if you already knew this but iron sledghehammer does 4x times damage to stone bois. So instead of 12 dmg it does 48. I dont think they one hit you with the full phantom gear. I think you’re safe to take on ones that have the stone on top. Ones that have the stone on the back are for when you have a strong bow. Edit: you dont actually need a torch to get trough lost woods. You can follow the direction the wind goes, imo its a lot easier way

Make sure you do all of the Korok Trials shrines before you do the Master Sword glitch! Otherwise they'll get locked out and you'll lose out on some spirit orbs. Those could be precious hearts later on in your run!

I think the enemies scale based on how many of that type of enemy you've killed. I went around getting a bunch of shrines and activating all the towers to fill out the map and was seeing the silver bokoblins before I got to my first Divine Beast

Oh I don't know if you know this, but whistle sprinting, even though it doesn't finish or even make the sound, enemies will detect you as if you was full on whistling regardless. So you are super easily detect if you do that trick for speed.

Hey Quin, thanks for another hilarious video! I don't know if this has been bought up before but you can kill bats with bombs really easily. Lay a bomb and run away, when you're out of range, detonate. If you time it just right, it should hit and oneshot the bat/s that are following you. It takes a bit of practice to get the timing right (and not blowing yourself up) but a big strong man such as yourself should find it super easy. Excited for the next episode. Why is this game so good!

For the fire, make sure you see the pull message before sitting at the fire. Then mash like really hard because there's like a 2 frame window to grab it.

Quin what are you talking about? The boomerang joke was funny. And just a little tip if your worried about heath which would be wield because why would you be but. In Hateno is the Hylian armor and if you get it and upgrade it to five starts, your defence will be much higher. Of course you do need to free all the Great Fairies and gather the material which might take a lot of time but on the bright side, you get to play more Breath of the Wild.

You know, I legitimately AM impressed. Might be the part-time fever talking, but I don't think so. You impress me even when my brain is fully online. Just the fact that you're stupid--uh, I mean BRAVE--enough to try this is pretty amazing.

You know, if you’re anxious, you should avoid whistle-sprinting, since the monsters can hear you. Whistling and star fragments and a guardian fight at night-nothing attracts enemies more reliably than those 3 things. 😂

you only need 3 things to know in how much danger you are in BOTW, it's really easy. 1st identify the weapon of the ennemy, you've played the game before, you should have some knowlegde of the weapons and knowing how much attack they have. 2nd, the tier of the ennemy, red is trash, blue is ok, black is scary, white is terrifying, gold is just run you have no chance of winning. (skeletons are red tier) 3rd, you need to know how much armor you have, this one should be easy. when you have all of that you do this simple calculation: (Ennemy weapon+ tier bonus) - your armor = the amount of hearts you're gonna lose when hit. (each 1/4 of a heart is 1 damage, and the minimum amount of damage suffered is 1) the tier bonus depends of the monster so it's a bit hard to explain, you can mostly ignore it, but it's getting really strong at black tier, for example a bokoblin has +0 at red tier, then in order of tier becomes: +4, +8 and then +24. lizal are a bit higher starting at +4, then going up from there becomes: +8, +16 (elemental lizards are black tier) and then +20 moblins are weak but become strong quick, in order it goes: +2, +10, +20 and finally +24 linels are strong from the start but have the least growth: +15, +20, +26 and +30 also worth noting that in master mode, the red tier don't exist exept for monsters who do not have tiers like bats, slimes and skeletons. make sure to have some ice or fire, to deal with elemental ennemies for using the opposite element one shots them, (electric dosen't have an opposite element) also, sorry, i don't know the tier bonus for gold tier monster. anyways, i hope it was helpfull. good luck with your challenge.

You've got the right idea with early master sword you must need to not be facing the campfire and instead facing forward Basically stand inbetween the 2 facing forward and then press the sit prompt and spam A until you get the master sword

If you want foodstuffs go to Satori mountain! It’s covered in foodstuffs and has an apple orchard! Apples for days! 🍎🍎🍎 (And some hearty durians. If you cook one you get a full heal with a decent number of extra hearts.)

I must say you are very brave doing this challenge, I honestly could never do it myself I would be absolutely scared and nervous especially with the rules you've set yourself. I'm being serious when I say you're brave for doing this, I would most definitely get myself killed within minutes of it due to the fact I would do something stupid, especially if I'm nervous and I'm not thinking straight.

When you get Mipha's Grace, deactivate it if you have fairies. The Grace would be used over the fairy... Reactivate it when you run out of fairies.
