This hat is about 3-4 years old and has been worn on a daily basis in all kinds of weather and probably not had time to fully recover after each use 😅
To avoid this, it is a very good idea to have multiple hats to change between, especially if you use them in rain, so you allow them to dry completely at room temperature.
Our hats are meant to be used in any kind of weather, but proper maintenance is important if you want them to look their best for as long as possible.
Check out the video we made on hat maintenance here:
• How to HANDLE & STORE ...
After a re-blocking, a thorough cleaning of the sweatband, a new liner and hatband, it is as good as new or even better!

Beautiful job. I have been a hat person since my teens, i am now in my 60’s and your vids have inspired me to try and craft some hats of my own, and for that, i thank you, Also, great tunes on your videos.

Always enjoy your vids. For those of us who aspire to try hat making, it would love to see how this could be approached DIY. You have obviously invested in a well equipped shop, specialty tools etc. I'm guessing that came after you made a few hats DIY. Any suggestions for how to get started without spending a ton of money would be appreciated.

wonderful to watch the steps. D you have a special brim iron? Also hard to see what you are tacking the lining silk to.
