Inspired by Grigore Lese's song Corinda, I recorded this piece to invite you to take a break and breathe with me and the Orgatar. Subscribe to my channel: / @rubimomaker www.rubimo.net
This is an amazing instrument and amazing playing. Playing so that the notes die off as the balloon loses pressure is a truly unique sound and you made use of it beautifully.
This is amazing. I can’t believe this isn’t getting soundtrack use already it’s so haunted sounding. What you’re playing could be one. I’d love to hear the “breather” bladder miked with reverb on it, but it’s great as you’re playing it. I checked your channel and that’s a subscribe. I can’t believe you make such sophisticated and innovative instruments by yourself. Hats off to you!
So is the Ebow just constantly ringing out a note and you can use the glass slider to change it? That's very cool, is there any guitars that do that? Like no plucking required? Or is there a holdable version of that Ebow?
You may be looking for a sustainer. The Ed O’Brian (of Radiohead) signature Stratocaster has one that lets notes ring forever. I believe there are pedal versions too but I could be wrong about that part.
@@donkimble I recently just got into guitar, and I actually got a strat very similar to this. Exact color too, but the difference is my pickups are all single coil. It seems the top pickup is the 'sustainer driver'. But it's too late to pick a guitar now... unless there's a way to get the sustainer pickup into my strat??
There would be the option to make a holder for it. But even better would be to take apart the ebow and integrate it in the guitar. I might try that soon!
