I needed this surgery done this year to be covered financially under my medical coverage so even though I am still playing I had to get it done. Please like and subscribe! Chur.
I've recently seen an ENT and am gonna get an open septorhinoplasty with turbinate reduction so I am doing research. Most info I've seen is about one or the other, not both so thank you for sharing your journey! I'm nervous for it, but I am very excited to be able to breathe properly.
@@sebgon191 It depends a lot on insurance. I had to put up to what my deductible was ($1500 though I had already paid into that already) and then my insurance covered most of the rest but I had to pay 10% of the rest. It ended up being like $2000 out of pocket for me
I feel for you mate. I had a lot of ENT problems for years and eventually got surgery. I had chronic sinusitis, a badly deviated septum, adenoids removed and Polyps removed and also turbinectomy.I was back a few months later to have a Canal down radical mastoidectomy. Tbh it was nearly a year before I felt any benefits. Remember to Nasal Rinse regularly and put some vaseline on a Qtip and smear the inside of your nose. It helps with the cold weather
I got my close septorhinoplasty and my breathing got soo much better but my nose is still not completely straight just like your bcz the bone above my nose was crooked but I'm happy 😊
Just had my consultation today, and was hoping for a simple septoplasty procedure, but I am now being directed to a doctor for consultation for septorhinoplasty, which led me to your video. Thank you for taking the time and effort to log your journey. It really helps for people like myself who do not know what to expect, after the surgery. I liked and subscribed and will probably document my journey as well. Cheers.
I am getting septorhinoplasty myself. My doctor said that my nose may not be 100% straight but breathing will certainly improve. Did you see your nose straighten out once when the swelling went down or is is slightly crooked as you saw after your cast got removed?
I’m in the same boat still have a broken nose from getting jumped and getting kicked in the face with a steel tip boot smh in going to emt doctor to see if my insurance will cover hoepfully they won’t say it’s cosmetic?!!! If they do I’ll have to pay 10 grand out of pocket :(
Not being rude or break your heart looks better but still looks little bent as the reason I’m watching your video as I’m going through the same thing but hope your nose heals better but it takes a year anyway so give it time but still looks better then before 😊
Going for my septorhinoplasty this Thursday, and I’ve watched a few videos now of recovery… wish I took family advice 😂😂 I’m really nervous now about the pain.
Can't wait for mine I can't wait for my nose to be straight too. I love myself. But I can only imagine the self love after. I'm worried abt my fitness. But it's temporary
@@alexnew199430 I backed off after finding out that the doctor I was attending with was a terrible one after me gathering some references about him. He did a septoplasty to someone I know and the guy gave me the word of caution. My private medical insurance refused to provide coverage for my surgery because of false info the doctor provided to my insurance. So I ditched that doctor and that Insurance and I got another one where I’d have to wait until early next year 2023 to proceed with the surgery. This time, I will look for references of the doctor before wasting money on consultations and laboratory exams only to end up in nothing.
@@ChrisPTY507 hey Chris sadly to hear about what happened. Also so you said that you having septoplasty and rhinoplasty the question is does the insurance covered rhinoplasty although is considered cosmetic/plastic??? And also what insurance???
@@sebgon191 It can be covered if you’re able to prove that your undergoing surgery because of medical reasons and not just cosmetic ones. In my case I have Turbinate hypertrophy so it goes in the realm of justified causes due to it being a medical condition.
00:38 Jordan you can’t say “I actually don’t really go for anyone” but yet you say at 1:16 “True Blues true Blues…. Blues all day” like make up your mind cause it’s confusing as a viewer to be honest with you, I think you’re a proud NSW Blues fan/supporter deep down cause if you buy a NSW Blues merchandise of any kind which you did that’s mean you’re a FAN of them to be real with you, You’re my enemy as a State of Origin fan wise because I am a proud QLD Maroons fan/supporter since 2006, And good 👍🏽 game for this year’s SOO series win & also youse guys deserve the 2021 SOO series win 🥇. Go QLD Maroons ❌❌❌❌!!!!!!!!.
I can say what I want and change my mind whenever I like but thanks for the input. The hoodie I am wearing is a hoodie I was given by a company to take photos with. So I got both a maroons and a blues jersey! I didn't need to explain that for you but I did so you're welcome!
I had a septoplasty on April the 1st then got punched in the face in November and now I’m like you, and I have to get surgery again. What an April fools joke lol
