that pilot is amazing. As a pilot i would have went around at 0:18, that down draft is scary, imagine if it had happen 20 feet over the runway. Maybe the pilot has good flying skills but he took a huge risk, continuing that approach

Einfach super...Hochactung an die Leute im Cockpit, das ist j mal eine ganz eigene Liga..will mir nicht einmal vorstellen, wie die Belastung auf die Seitenruder war; erstaunlich, dass es bei der leichten Maschine das ganze Flugzeug nicht gleich überstellt, resp. gegen ein anderes Flugzeug gerammt hat.

I once had a similar experience as passenger in approach to LCY including go around and second try. Can imagine the suffering of the passengers and don't want to know how many of them used the sick bag. But big bravo to the pilot, he really knows his job.

As a retired corporate pilot I believe I would have hit the go around button and flew somewhere a little less turbulent. But, you’ve got to give this guy credit for getting it down safely . Any landing you walk away from is a good one.

Man sollte nicht bei einem Sturm starten oder starten wenn man weiß das es ein Sturm geben wird (siehe Beispiel: Am 1. Juni 1999 geriet eine McDonnell Douglas MD-82 auf dem American-Airlines-Flug 1420 (Kennzeichen N215AA) von Dallas nach Little Rock bei Gewitter von der Landebahn ab und prallte gegen eine Leitplanke hinter dem Flughafen. Von 145 Menschen an Bord kamen 11 um) Die Passagiere sollten froh sein dass die Piloten Erfahren sind und weiß was man machen muss

I can appreciate the skill of the pilot. Despite me working in aircraft maintenance I had to undergo basic flight training. While strong crosswinds, headwinds, and tailwinds were present they where nowhere near this extreme.
