I love how they named the komodos “Indah(?)” and “Naga” - which in the Indonesian/Malaysian Bahasa language means “beautiful dragon” 🥲💯

Man, I'm 42 years old. Had a horrible childhood n Steve really helped me get away at times. Seeing his son makes my cry every time. He has no idea the boots he's so great at filling!

Ah, but Robert was raised hearing about and watching videos of father Steve...since the age of 2 when Steve passed. Itt seems indeed he has been quite purposely filling those shoes along with sister Bindi.

@@Ryandushara Watch and listen again. Every footstep (and tongue slither) sounds exactly the same, even when the surface is different. And the foley artist can’t keep up when two dragons are moving. It’s extremely fake and overdone.

I love that the older Robert gets he gets more and more like his dad. The leadership, initiative, and passion Steve had was one of a kind. The Irwin siblings are such great kids favoring both Terri and Steve. Steve lives on through his family for forever and its great they keep his dreams alive.

I watched both of Steve's kids come into the world through his show. I was crushed when he died and things went silent over here. So happy to Robert, the spitting image of his father, and Bindi carrying on the good work.

Wow .I see Steve when I see his kids. Not going to lie but a little emotional right now. Steve left his inspiration across the globe. It's nice to see his beautiful kids continuing his legacy and their future looks brighter than ever. Great to see his spirit through his wife and kids. Best wishes to you all. Same to the staff that worked along with Steve for decades.

Having Komodo offspring is critical to the survival of the species and Steve knew that! There are only around 3,000 dragons left on a handful of Indonesian islands. Despite their unpredictable nature they're my personal favorite lizard species and a beautiful species that deserves a solid future!

I've worked in animal husbandry & as a vet tech most of my life. I've helped breed all number of large & small mammals. So glad this could get done without somebody having to hold the boot 😂 Good luck for babies! My 40 y/o daughter grew up watching Steve. Cool to see Robert & the family keeping the dream going!

our local reptile park is currently incubating komodo dragon eggs from the last breeding season. this year there might be komodo babies in both queensland and new south wales!

This is great to see the Australian zoo working on breeding the dragons. I just watched a video on how their numbers were dwindling in the wild.

Listen to the sound of that tongue! If their tongue is that loud through the camera, it helps you understand a little more closely the size of these animals! But of course, I can only imagine. The camera just doesn't do their size, or their beauty justice! Fantastic animals! And obviously, I'm still sad we lost Steve, but we still get to see him every day, through Robert and I can't describe the joy I feel in that. Steve would be so proud of the man he's become! Love you, Irwins!

I love and respect the largest lizard. With a toxic bite that leads to necrosis and enough weight to be able to take down water buffalo with a single bite and a few days of waiting these beasts are one of the most amazing reptiles around.

One time it was my birthday and my mom tried to send it to my grandma but instead it went to Robert IRWIN and all the Irwin’s ended up being in the photo it was the happiest day of my life!

Can’t believe how much Jr is looking like dad. For a second I thought it was a older video with Steve. It was a tragedy when Steve passed away. But I bet he went out doing what he wanted to do. Didn’t get old and sick and have to live in a home and be taken care of.

So cool to see this! I worked at Disney's Animal Kingdom on the Maharajah Jungle Trek, where we had komodos, but they mostly just basked all day...not a lot of action like this!

Love to hear all Indonesian names for Komodo Dragon. Naga means Dragon in bahasa/Indonesian language,. Gily is one of the home island of komodo dragon, indah means beautiful

I love Komodo Dragons since I was 8 years, yea they are dangerous and creepy with the claws sharper than lion's claws, the venom defense in their saliva and razor teeth, but when you look at those cute face scaly face with those precious eyes and be like "¿how can a animal so beautiful, cute and amazing be dangerous and feared?", I learn from Steve Irwin that animals attack only when they are hungry and considero you a food ítem or they are considering you are threat and a danger, if you show them you are a friend and mean no harm, they won't attack or hurta you, good job for Robert, Chandler and the rest of the Australia Zoo staff in helping Indah and Naga during their "romantic date", hope Komodo Dragons are born in Australia Zoo

Now imagine those the size of a small bus, and you got komodos in Australia pre-megafauna extinction. Thats terrifying. Though humans were associated wit h their extinction, so perhaps it would not be as bad as we think. Humans are the apex predator due to our massive brains + our innovation + our cooperation. Not much one of these can do against that, as even capturing them shows.
