the reason people say that is because most of the time he will either back out of challenges or duels and usually goes back from a good position yes he has good games and i admit he isnt that used to angeball but a few good games doesnt make him amazing i still have doubts

Absolutely. Ben Davies comes to mind. Been with us 10 years. Under Poch we were a better balanced team with him in, more than Rose, who was mostly immune from criticism. All his teammates trust him, from the amount of balls played through to him and every manager has trusted him. I'm not saying he is the best but a very good squad player, who has been an important cog for us. I have a friend who hates him and I have asked if Davies had a good game, and he will say "yeah, but just this once" I have reminded him we have had this conversation 30 or 40 times, at least. LOL, 30 or 40 one-off good games, and that is just the times I have remembered to ask him.

Thats how I felt when Spurs brought Johnson regarding Forest ;)
