Symbolic song, full of metaphors. Someone very smart wrote the lyrics, everything rhymes with "Kosovo" (gotovo, ponovo, orlovo), yet Kosovo (the historical cradle of all Serbs) is not mentioned anywhere. Still, everyone knows that each word is describing the will of the Serbian people to kick out occupying NATO troops (stationed in Kosovo and Metohija since they bombarded Serbia in 1999) and return to Kosovo. The singer, when interviewed, obviously can't admit to that, yet everyone knows the song is another Serbian anthem about the holy land of Kosovo. This song is about freedom and Serbs' aspiration to be free again.

Not yust listening Balkan music, speaking excellent Serbian...you are also musically educated your self about the rhythm and musical variety from this area. You are the best and best regards from Belgrade ❤
What do you want to bring Africa to Serbia ? Do you know that Serbia has 6 million people?? Do you know if they come no more Serbian people, tradition and everything else in 20 years?? You are insane
This song is a metaphore, and its about Kosovo i Metohija. Like a poem, beautiful song really. Thats why song was attacked from Albanians and Croats... The song is a mixture of etno and modern music. Our traditional music is called etno. 😊
Song start is about spring, beauty of nature behid mountines and storm that is coming and crashes apple tree and eagle's nest. Black birs that cover whole sky...in the end it says that black birds will leave and sun will rise again. Many of us Serb think it has secret meaning. Nature beauty behind mountines(Kosovo❤), eagle (serbian people)...black birds(planes bombing Serbia/whole western evil forces)... Breskvica said its not about that...but of course she wouldnt admit it..they would not let her on Eurovision... Hope I wrote it good😂...Love you black Serbs!❤ Косово је Србија!
Congratlations !! Your serbian is more than excellent,as you beautifully put it ”black serbia s” keep up your excellent work and finally Breskvica to WIN Eurovision. Go Breskvica gnezdo orlovo!!!!!!!!!!! Ps just to say a monk from serbia has reacted to the song which has NEVER in history happend. His reaction is PRICELESS 1000% behind Breskvica. Love from Australia
The song talks about suffering in general, but considering that the song is Serbian, it mostly talks about the suffering of the Serbian people. Especially in the nineties. The bombing of Serbia in 1999 by the NATO pact is described metaphorically (lines like: "a gray cloud hides the sky, black birds again...") The black bird can be a metaphor for the planes that bombed us, but an even closer metaphor is that the black bird symbolizes evil ie Albanians (black bird on their flag). The Serbian people are suffering again in Kosovo and Metohija, as in the nineties ("...a black bird destroys an eagle's nest..."). The eagle symbolizes Serbs, i.e. Serbia (our double-headed eagle on the flag). Also the eagle as a symbol in literature is the embodiment of power and strength. At the end of the song there is a line that says: "the black birds will leave, it will be clear again". That would mean that Serbia will once again shine in Kosovo and Metohija, that the terror against Serbs will end in one way or another... If you understand me. Another very important thing that you may not have noticed, but in the chorus, every last word rhymes with Kosovo... Of course, it was done on purpose 😉. KOSOVO AND METOHIЈA IS SERBIA.
Ljudi, fenomenalni ste! 💕😊 Stvarno ste me nasmejali i prijatno iznenadili time što govorite srpski i što osećate srpsku muziku. Jeste, pravi ste Srbi zbog toga, a boja kože nije važna!

I to nije nikakav problem.

Eagle’s Nest The spring brought the sun, And behind the hills, everything blossomed. An apple tree grows in the plain, But an unripe apple fell from the branch due to a strong cry. Chorus: A gray cloud hides the sky, Black birds return once more. Thunder, lightning, hail fall, Knocking down the eagle’s nest. The morning is awake, Yet the night is tired. The apple on the grass is sad and gloomy, But it blooms again, sending down its roots. Just as it catches a ray of sunlight, a large shadow appears. Chorus: A gray cloud hides the sky, Black birds return once more. Thunder, lightning, hail fall, Knocking down the eagle’s nest. The father tells the young eagle, “Son, it will be over.” The black birds will depart, And the skies will clear again. My darling, my darling, The skies will be clear again. My darling, my darling, Everything will be over. The song metaphorically describes the cycle of life, growth, and challenges. The “eagle’s nest” represents safety and stability, while the “black birds” symbolize adversity and obstacles. Despite difficulties, hope remains that things will improve, and clarity will return. The mention of the apple tree and its unripe fruit further emphasizes this theme. Regarding the Albanian flag, which features a black two-headed eagle, it aligns with the imagery of the black birds in the song. Just as the eagle’s nest faces challenges, so does the nation represented by the flag. However, there’s hope for renewal and brighter days ahead.
