Brett Favre is a home-grown, born-and-bred, Mississippian. A very, very rich Mississippian. I think it is not possible that he did not know what pot of money was was being used to fund the volleyball venue. Could he have ponied up to gift it to his alma mater himself, out of his own pocket or from his rich friends? Of course. But that is not the way they do things in the poorest state in the Union. Favre is disgusting.

Are you $hitting me right now?! Brett Favre's net worth is currently approximately $130 million, and makes between $5 - $7 million a year but is trying to swindle the government for a soccer field. With the governors help?? Do I understand correctly? How greedy is that?

Let’s be real f*cking clear about where this federal money for the poorest state in the Union is coming from. Taxpayers in New York and California. That’s right, the “coastal elites”. So odd that Democratic run states have all the the prosperity.
