I love Brett to death. He went to the same high school as me. He's a lot older, but we had a display for him in the cafeteria. He's such a nice and genuine person.

by what I saw I can see why he was pissed. if you watch baseball long enough you will see some really bad ball and strike calls. I can see missing really close pitches but some of these pitches missed by so much that Ray Charles could have called them right.

Every single one of these I can feel his frustration, both at himself and at the umps. This guy seems like he gets mad at all the appropriate things. The man clearly knows what his strike zone is and I didn't see him get upset wrongly once.

What I particularly like about Gardner is he’s not doing stuff like this when the Yankees are winning and he just feels personally disappointed. It’s when he either got screwed or made a mistake in places he could have helped the team win.

I mean...atleast he had every right to be angry. All of those calls were atrocious...especially the last one. If the bases aren’t loaded that’s a ball all day. Umpire was going to call anything close so the Sox didn’t walk home a run.
