Unfortunately it’s to late for the continuity you speak of. This is the last year on Justin’s cheep contract. No team in the NFL is paying 25 million at the minimum to see what he can do. The bears failed Justin and Justin failed the bears. It’s time for both to move on

You’re dead man walking, but keeping Justin and building a super team, makes you literally a genius! You can’t do both this year, you have to choose what’s good for the organization for the long haul. Yeah you can draft Stafford, and put him on a mediocre team for 11 years, like Detroit did!?! The problem with asking these guys who are giving observations on a ton of teams is having firm knowledge on them all. Billick says "you just got him," no, they didn't, he's three years in, you have to decide if you're picking up the 5YO or not. He also didn't know if Justin had Walsh's "24 games" in or not, he's got 40. So, respect the knowledge but tough for these guys to know all the nuances of every situation.

There is more to playing QB in the NFL than being a great athlete. One can run fast, one can throw the ball a long way, and still not be a good QB. Justin Fields is a case in point. He is not a winner. Just compare him to Brock Purdy. Who is a better athlete? Fields. Who is the better QB by far? Brock Purdy. What Purdy can do that Fields cannot do are as follows: 1. he can read a defense, and 2. he can throw the ball more accurately, and 3. he can anticipate where the receiver is going to be before he throws the ball, and 4. he can thread the ball into a tight window, and 5. he thinks faster, more clearly than Fields does on the field of play. And the NFL's opinion of Purdy was so low that he was drafted as "Mr. Irrelevant"--the very last pick of the NFL draft. And yet he is the best QB in the NFL, or certainly one of the very best. The Bears have a better QB on their roster than Fields. Like Purdy, he will get no chance to play unless Fields gets hurt. But Tyson Bagent out-played Fields when he took over for the injured Fields. He thinks better. He understands the game better. I don't know what the Bears will do, but I think that Caleb Williams is not the answer for the Bears. I KNOW that Justin Fields is not the answer for the Bears. But what Poles will do, I do not know. I do know what I'd do if I were the Bears GM: 1. I'd trade the #1 pick for a haul of draft picks, and 2. I'd have a real QB competition in camp, not just give the job to the favorite boy, and 3. I'd be looking to pick up someone who can manage the Bears offense. Cleveland picked up Joe Flacco and almost rode him to the Super Bowl. But trust Justin Fields to take this team anywhere except to another losing record, NO WAY. Justin Fields is a loser. Just look at his NFL record.

Te NFL needs to fix the kick off. Watching the super bowl everyone was amped up the kick off was in the air and it flew out of the back of the end zone andthe energy dropped. Total buzz kill until the teams got on yhe field and the ball was snapped. I think a simple solution would be if you kick it out of the back of the end zone the ball is spotted at the 35. If you hit the end zone and bounces out its at the 20. So its that or we get a return.

BEARS have a problem a big problem a generational problem. Not ONE BEARS QB ever became great in my lifetime watching them. JIM MILLER AND JAY CUTLER probaly closes to being very good for a short time. Every year their management cannot seem to find that TALENT when it comes to QB. JUSTIN FIELDSA IS a by product of the BEARS he probably is average at best SO LETS not get carried away and say he will be WAY BETTER or Be like LAMAR. If you watch enough of their games LAMAR is actually that vreat of a QB. Minus some of his timing he has a quick release anticipates very well and very accurate. Take a look at the NINERS TREY LANCE was given the very opportunity that Purdy had but not only Purdy took advantage of it he went next level. For Fields he just need to stay the course and forget that the BEARS is a dead end for QBs he has his own issues to rectify.

EVERYONE in Chicago wants to keep Fields ??? Thats not true . And comparing him to Lamar is ridiculous. Oh BTW , Lamar might win ten MVPs , but he'll NEVER win a Lombardi

Like a guy further up said if you compare Fields to Jackson you might as well compare every pocket QB to Brady. Chad Henne? We're still holding out hope that he turns into Brady 😂

Me, myself have tried so hard to unsubscribe from this podcast. All you do is try to get guests who agree with your opinions. You are the ones who keep feeding the narrative that Justin Fields is weak. Brian Billick exfootball coach who hasn’t coached in over 15 years. It always seems to you’re to coach your guests into saying what you want them to say. Whenever I see it’s you guys, I listen to about five minutes of the conversation and it’s the same old thing.🤬

Lamar Jackson is a Athlete and he can play from the pocket unlike fields hes a athelete but he is not good from the pocket with his arm thats why Lamar Jackson is way better than fields
